Set amongst gum trees with kookaburras, lorikeets,cockatoos,ducks,pelicans you will find it relaxing, whilst at the same time,close to all the action. The BOATHOUSE has its own private jetty for sunset drinks plus use of the owners kayak for exploring beautiful Avoca Lake if you wish. There is plenty of parking at the back. The BOATHOUSE. has a private deck with a BBQ, Lounge,and outdoor setting all overlooking a tranquil garden and out to the lake and the jetty.. Inside,the BOATHOUSE has a kitchenette, a queen size bed, tv, modern bathroom, books, games, dvds, linen,beach towels, beach umbrella are all supplied. . OUT AND ABOUT AVOCA BEACH Avoca's award winning theatre is wthin walking distance and has all the local releases. There are numerous good cafes, restaurants,clothing shops all 150 metere walk from The BOATHOUSE. What an incredible place that we called paradise. Waking up to the greenery and views of the water was perfect. We will definitely be back. Kerry & Max were so lovely to deal with from start to finish. Cannot fault anything. Thank you so much

This little Boathouse was the perfect location for our families 60th + surprise wedding. Easy to find & very close to all the wonderful local shops. The Hi Tide Takeaway make the Best Ever Barra Wraps & Juices, Louise from Glamazon Beauty Excellent Massage & Danielle from Face On Beauty at Erina was totally amazing too.

We had a really nice relax stay at boathouse. The hosts are super lively, friendly and helpful. So happy that i've picked this place to have a nice quiet time on my BD. Quick walk to the town and beach, but still relaxed with N amazing view of the lake. Highly recommend.

It was a beautiful location, lovely and Quite with surrounding birds.. 5 mins walk to the beach , bakery accross the rd.. Easy access Max and Kerry left the door open for us ..They were very helpful they live very close buy so any questions they were quuck to help.. Great house / apt..Great quite view of the lake.. Will will be back.. P.s Im a big fan of Sheridan Linen, So lovely touch Kerry.😉

This is the perfect relaxing weekend getaway. Great location, very quiet. Friendly kookaburras came right up to the decking. My wife had a great Mothers day. Hosts Kerry and Max were great. All round great weekend. Cheers.

Absolutely wonderful place

The place is as described. Great place to stay. Park you car and you don’t have to drive anywhere. Places to eat are very close. You have to try the patisserie right opposite. Very tasty. Beach is just a short stroll. We enjoyed our morning coffee sitting by the water on the private wharf watching a large variety of birds. Kerry and Max were on hand if we needed anything. Will definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay at the boathouse. Our favourite part was setting off on our paddle boards right from the backyard. Great walking distance to local shops, cafes and restaurants. Easy Uber’s intoTerrigal. Max and Kerry were very welcoming. Will be back again!

Our expectations were exceeded. The Boathouse is the perfect spot for two. Spotlessly clean, cute decor, wonderful deck to relax on as you gaze out through the trees to the lagoon. Max and Kerry very generous, welcoming hosts. A tree had fallen during a recent storm, blocking access to the jetty. We were informed of this prior to our arrival and offered early/late check in or another nights stay. It honestly didn’t affect our enjoyment of the accommodation or the surrounding area. We will be back another time to make use of the kayaks and jetty when repaired. Almost don’t want to share this gem but Kerry and Max deserve the favourable review.
