Centrally located on Whalehead Beach within close proximity to great shops and restaurants. Beach access is a short walk to Marlin St. This well-maintained home features a recently updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances including two full-size refrigerators and granite counter tops and is fully equipped for great home-cooked meals. Ceramic tile flooring throughout 3rd floor, updated paint throughout the home, some new furniture in bedrooms, and newly decorative bedding. All TVs on Ground Level and Mid Level are upgraded to Smart TVs. Star of the Sea's open floor plan offers room to stretch out, relax, and enjoy the company of the entire family. Multiple decks give you prime sites to savor the ocean breeze and gaze upon the ocean views. Take in the sun around the private pool featuring a new Cabana with bar and powder room. This house offered a truly amazing location for a family beach vacation! The house was very clean and well supplied with toys, games, movies, and other amenities. It was a short walk to the beach and there were great beach supplies. We used the pool and hot tub daily! The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking utensils. Overall, every person who came for the week absolutely loved the trip and especially the house!! We’re already planning a 2022 trip!

This house offered a truly amazing location for a family beach vacation! The house was very clean and well supplied with toys, games, movies, and other amenities. It was a short walk to the beach and there were great beach supplies. We used the pool and hot tub daily! The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking utensils. Overall, every person who came for the week absolutely loved the trip and especially the house!! We’re already planning a 2022 trip!

Excellent for Families!
This house offered a truly amazing location for a family beach vacation! The house was very clean and well supplied with toys, games, movies, and other amenities. It was a short walk to the beach and there were great beach supplies. We used the pool and hot tub daily! The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking utensils. Overall, every person who came for the week absolutely loved the trip and especially the house!! We’re already planning a 2022 trip!

The AC broke the first day we were there. I called the emergency off hours notice number 5 times and my emergency call was never returned. We couldn’t congregate in the common areas or cook as it was 90 degrees on the thermostat. On the second day they got us window units that helped somewhat but still not Comfortable. The air conditioning was finally fixed Friday before we we were headed home Sat. Pool was never cleaned mid week despite 2 phone calls to Resort Realty prop mgmt. It was finally cleaned Fri before we left early Sat am. Great house and nicely appointed, lots of rec equipment and everything needed to go to the beach. Tiki bar was fantastic and we enjoyed many happy hours there. But the management of the property and the response time left much to be desired. We would have enjoyed our time so much more if we could’ve been together upstairs playing games and cooking together after waiting all year for this trip! Not sure I would stay at this property under the same management again.

The house was perfect for our large group. The pool and patio were great, especially having the cabana bar with outdoor bathroom. We rent with large groups every summer and I have to say the 3 refrigerators were perfect!!

We really enjoyed our time at Star of the Sea. So clean and spacious! Great kitchen! Nice 5 min walk to the beach. only complaint: TV in LR coulda been bigger :) would have liked HD channels

House was excellent!! Warm & welcoming, very well cared for and very well equipped, pool area was very enjoyable, very spacious, loved having the cabana with an outdoor bathroom! Hot tub was wonderful and large enough to fit all 5 of us comfortably. Beautiful view of the beach in the front and very private in the back. Enjoyed seeing deer almost every day. The house was very well equipped with beach chairs & boogie boards and was a short walk to the beach. This was our fifth visit to the Outer Banks, we enjoy staying in Whalehead due to it's larger lots, central location and closeness to the Monterey Plaza. This was our first time working with Elan and they were all wonderful!! We really appreciated the barbeque and cold drinks that were offered upon our arrival! We have been looking for that perfect house to stay in year after year, we finally found it!! We look forward to staying here again next year!! Thank-you!!!

Star of the Sea is an awesome house. My family thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The kitchen was well equipped and wonderful to cook in. It was an easy walk to the beach and also the Food Lion Grocery store. Plenty of beach chairs, and boogie boards were available to take to the beach. Due to the wind we really only had a few beach days, so the pool was perfect as the house blocked the wind a good bit. The hot tub was also a welcome addition. We love the area and had a great vacation. Thank you.

Star of the Sea is an awesome house. My family thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The kitchen was well equipped and wonderful to cook in. GORGEOUS HOME!!
We couldn't have asked for a better home to have as our vacation spot, it was our first time to the outer banks.. And we were absolutely THRILLED to stay here, a quick walk to the beach, with a view from the third floor balcony! Or we could drive up the road a bit to the boardwalk on the bay side and watch the sun set on the bay. Beautiful, we will be back.
