About this cabin rental

Welcome to Celesta Vista! One of the most unique and luxurious properties in the Smokies! Have a smaller group (20+)? Try our sister property - The Pimalai Lodge. https://www.vrbo.com/831227. The name "Celesta Vista" literally means when translated “heavenly view”. True to its name, the 7000 sqft Celesta Vista Lodge is located more than 1000 feet above Wears Valley overlooking the valley and mountains below. The back of the property to the Smoky Mountain National Park. This private, custom-built, luxurious cabin will truly be the highlight of any visit to the Smoky Mountain National Park, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. No other cabin will come close to the amenities and view that this cabin offers. The Celestial Lodge has 7 bedrooms, 7 full baths, and 2 half baths. It will comfortably sleep up to 29 persons and offers breath-taking views directly down into Wear's Valley below and looks back at the foothills, Bluff Mountain, and Hatcher Mountain. The property has been designed to afford your entire family or group a truly unique, and unforgettable getaway with unparalleled amenities, and is ideal for family reunions, weddings, or any large group gathering. This 4+ million dollar property has undergone extensive renovation, including the addition of an indoor pool house. The limited pictures simply cannot capture every unique element of the property, therefore please use the Virtual Tour to get a walk-through tour of the property. The driveway to The Celesta Vista is steep! Very good tire tread or two/all-wheel-drive vehicles or 4X4's are recommended! Please do not overload your vehicle if you don't have these vehicles! For the kids, there are two private fantasy bedrooms; "The Jedi Academy" and "Narnia’s Wardrobe". The Jedi Academy” offers young Padawans a chance to venture into a spaceship based training academy for future Jedi warriors, while the ship hurtles through the outer rim galaxies. Within the futuristic, industrial interior, is located the spaceship’s cockpit and control panels, from which one can peer into the deep abyss of space. we got two sets of bunk beds in the spaceship. The first set of bunk beds are designed for Padawans( younger kids) and they are shorter than other sets. We have another set designed for young Jedies to rest and be ready for master Yoda`s special training during the sleep! “Narnia’s Wardrobe” is modelled around the land of Narnia, and appropriately accessed through an ornately decorated wardrobe which opens to reveal a magical, winter wonderland. When you step into the wardrobe, Narnia awaits with a snow-covered forest, stone mountain walls with an electric fireplace (the entrance to Mr. Tumnus’s home), luxury sleigh beds, a ceiling of stars, and of course the frozen lamppost!! For the adults who are ready to let their hair down and act like kids, Celesta Vista has brought an Irish legacy to the Smoky Mountains – with the “Naughty Leprechaun” Irish Pub. It is here in the “Naughty Leprechaun” where every day of the year you can be whisked away to a taste of Ireland (Don’t forget to wear something green, or else a leprechaun just might pinch you!!!!). The pub area is tastefully decorated and have you saying “Sláinte” (Cheers!). The “Naughty Leprechaun” also includes a large recreation area suitable for all ages equipped with billiards, air hockey, foosball, darts, poker table, 60” flat screen tv, X-Box, Jukebox, and video arcade. Stayed here with my family for Thanksgiving. There was 25 of us. The hose was clean and plenty to do to keep everyone occupied. We planned on going downtown, but after the drive up we didn’t want to go back down. I read on previous reviews that there’s a pretty steep drive to the house. That is no lie. The road was kind of slick and full of leaves. We all have SUV’s and struggled to get up the driveway. Other than that everything was fine. Beautiful views, spacious house, the hot tub wasn’t very clean and the cover could use some TLC, but it’s still a lovely place. Especially for a large family. We had a really good time. We all sat in the large dining room for our meals, which we really enjoyed. Watched some movies and football games in the theater, which has great sound! The kids LOVED the pool area and all the games! It was a peaceful and very memorable experience. I would return if it wasn’t for the steep hill. We’re not use to all that lol This place is def worth checking out though!

Cabin was beautiful the driveway as they stated is STEEP and a little intimidating 😳😂After the first night a bear had removed the hot tub cover and I guess soaked in the tub which made it quite filthy. Contacted the property manager and he said he would”try” to get them to come clean it. Well they never showed up and we were unable to use the hot tub

6 friends and their families rented this place for yearly get together. The pool and hot tub are what we look for to keep the kids occupied while we do our adulting. The pool here left something to be desired. The listing says it’s heated and I’m sure it technically is but it was too cold for the kids to enjoy comfortable. The adults tried it in the evening and again, most of the adults were too cold to enjoy for long. The spill over spa has jets but the property keeps them turned off. They were turned on for us for a day because the hot tub jets were broken. The water in the hot tub looked like beef broth and contained flakes, which I was told was due to the limestone in the area, so due to that and lack of jets we pretty much stayed out of it. Some of the beds left our friends in pain. Too soft. My partner and I slept in the loft. The mattress was like sleeping on a marshmallow but we enjoyed it. Very few windows in the house have coverings but nothing is around so privacy would only be an issue if someone in your group were lurking. We did have a bear make an appearance. It was actually cool to see. The house seemed clean for the most part. Bathrooms were small. Most of the bathrooms contain shower stalls so if you’re a larger person, that could be a problem for you. The opening to the house from the parking is the lower floor so you have to carry everything up to the main floor for the kitchen. Kitchen has everything you could need. Living room only had seating for 9.

Our family and friends flew in from all over the country to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and vow renewal. Scott, the property manager, was very responsive. What an exciting adventure upon first arrival- grateful that the road is now paved because some of our vehicles may have struggled to get up the incline on gravel. The home is BEAUTIFUL! The pool house and sauna and tiki bar a delight. Rest and relaxation. Our party had 29 folks ages 30-60. We enjoyed playing games and catching up. My husband and I renewed our vows in a simple ceremony with the mountains of Tennessee behind us. Some of my family took day trips into town for hiking and gem mining. I enjoyed the house and company. We cooked all our meals and delighted setting the table- we truly felt like royalty up there on the mountaintop. The rooms are spacious and everyone had plenty room to move around, be together, or alone if needed. The view from the deck are spectacular. The hot tub and pools were a huge hit. We enjoyed the out door kitchen and grill for many of our meals. The furniture is so comfortable and plenty of cozy blankets for snuggling up. Theater is awesome. We played an original ATARI! The large tub in the master bedroom doesn't function and the faucet handles just spin -(I read that other guests have already noted this) it is still a beautiful bathroom- the shower is massive! So great to have so many bathrooms- even with a full house, there was never a wait for showers or rest rooms.

Two of the bed frames in the 1st floor are broken. You would not know it just to look at them, but it made both beds very uncomfortable to sleep on. One of them is so badly broken that it turned the foam mattress into a "taco"

This property has the best Mountain View I’ve ever had in my time spent in the mountains. The house was clean and surpassed our expectations.

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was even better than the listing shows. There were a couple issues but Scott promptly fixed them. Very clean, great views, lots of entertainment at the house.
