The stay was great no problems at all. The house was just what they said it would be, perfect. We will be back.

Stayed here with my family for Thanksgiving. There was 25 of us. The hose was clean and plenty to do to keep everyone occupied. We planned on going downtown, but after the drive up we didn’t want to go back down. I read on previous reviews that there’s a pretty steep drive to the house. That is no lie. The road was kind of slick and full of leaves. We all have SUV’s and struggled to get up the driveway. Other than that everything was fine. Beautiful views, spacious house, the hot tub wasn’t very clean and the cover could use some TLC, but it’s still a lovely place. Especially for a large family. We had a really good time. We all sat in the large dining room for our meals, which we really enjoyed. Watched some movies and football games in the theater, which has great sound! The kids LOVED the pool area and all the games! It was a peaceful and very memorable experience. I would return if it wasn’t for the steep hill. We’re not use to all that lol This place is def worth checking out though!

Cabin was beautiful the driveway as they stated is STEEP and a little intimidating 😳😂After the first night a bear had removed the hot tub cover and I guess soaked in the tub which made it quite filthy. Contacted the property manager and he said he would”try” to get them to come clean it. Well they never showed up and we were unable to use the hot tub

6 friends and their families rented this place for yearly get together. The pool and hot tub are what we look for to keep the kids occupied while we do our adulting. The pool here left something to be desired. The listing says it’s heated and I’m sure it technically is but it was too cold for the kids to enjoy comfortable. The adults tried it in the evening and again, most of the adults were too cold to enjoy for long. The spill over spa has jets but the property keeps them turned off. They were turned on for us for a day because the hot tub jets were broken. The water in the hot tub looked like beef broth and contained flakes, which I was told was due to the limestone in the area, so due to that and lack of jets we pretty much stayed out of it.
Some of the beds left our friends in pain. Too soft. My partner and I slept in the loft. The mattress was like sleeping on a marshmallow but we enjoyed it. Very few windows in the house have coverings but nothing is around so privacy would only be an issue if someone in your group were lurking. We did have a bear make an appearance. It was actually cool to see. The house seemed clean for the most part. Bathrooms were small. Most of the bathrooms contain shower stalls so if you’re a larger person, that could be a problem for you. The opening to the house from the parking is the lower floor so you have to carry everything up to the main floor for the kitchen. Kitchen has everything you could need. Living room only had seating for 9.

Our family and friends flew in from all over the country to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and vow renewal.
Scott, the property manager, was very responsive.
What an exciting adventure upon first arrival- grateful that the road is now paved because some of our vehicles may have struggled to get up the incline on gravel.
The home is BEAUTIFUL! The pool house and sauna and tiki bar a delight. Rest and relaxation. Our party had 29 folks ages 30-60. We enjoyed playing games and catching up. My husband and I renewed our vows in a simple ceremony with the mountains of Tennessee behind us.
Some of my family took day trips into town for hiking and gem mining. I enjoyed the house and company. We cooked all our meals and delighted setting the table- we truly felt like royalty up there on the mountaintop.
The rooms are spacious and everyone had plenty room to move around, be together, or alone if needed. The view from the deck are spectacular.
The hot tub and pools were a huge hit.
We enjoyed the out door kitchen and grill for many of our meals.
The furniture is so comfortable and plenty of cozy blankets for snuggling up.
Theater is awesome. We played an original ATARI!
The large tub in the master bedroom doesn't function and the faucet handles just spin -(I read that other guests have already noted this) it is still a beautiful bathroom- the shower is massive! So great to have so many bathrooms- even with a full house, there was never a wait for showers or rest rooms.

Two of the bed frames in the 1st floor are broken. You would not know it just to look at them, but it made both beds very uncomfortable to sleep on. One of them is so badly broken that it turned the foam mattress into a "taco"

This property has the best Mountain View I’ve ever had in my time spent in the mountains. The house was clean and surpassed our expectations.

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was even better than the listing shows. There were a couple issues but Scott promptly fixed them. Very clean, great views, lots of entertainment at the house.

This property was without a doubt so beautiful. We loved being able to get up and see the gorgeous sunrise and go to bed at night seeing the sunsets as well - all in the same property. Nothing can beat the views of this home. They were truly spectacular.
We did feel that the listing description and pictures of this home were a bit deceiving. The pictures did make the house and yard appear much larger than what it was. The bedroom configurations weren't completely clear on the listing and we found the top bunks did not have safety rail and for having young children in our group, became a concern. At all times, the house was extremely hot and never went under 78 degrees. After requesting someone to come look at it, it was determined that the air unit is much too small for the space of the house.
Although, there were several concerns, we really enjoyed our stay and loved having our family under one roof. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The description about the driveway is very accurate. It is steep, but we traveled up and down it every day with no difficulty.
The views are amazing. We also had a young bear that was a regular visitor which added to the fun.
The owner was extremely responsive. We had some problems with the pool being cold and they tried their best to fix it. Our grandkids didn't seem to mind the cold temperature.
The home is in need of some tender loving care. Things that could easily be taken care of by a caretaker such as clogged bathroom drain, broken jukebox (our son fixed it), hot tub jet covers falling off and the whirlpool tub fixtures need replacing (they just spin around). The outside grill looked like it hadn't been cleaned and there was a full cigarette butt can.
The lodge is amply equipped with cooking items, plates, cups etcs. We brought our own griddle for making pancakes. Bring paper towels, toilet paper, dish washer soap, etc.
The few minor issues didn't detract from all the positives.
We would definitely recommend staying here! Maybe one day we can return again.

We had a relaxing and wonderful stay. There was an issue with the pool and it never did get to a reasonable temperature so the kids couldn’t really use it. Although they promptly tried to fix. Our crew had a healthy fear of the bears and found ourselves wishing prior guests hadn’t fed them as it caused them to come around a lot, including climbing up on the deck and getting in the grill. It was great to see wildlife. The owners certainly discourage feeding the bears. We appreciated the get away.

We LOVED this place. Had so much to do at the cabin. The place was so beautiful and had amazing views. We did have a vistor when we was grilling, but we loved seeing the bear as well. Check in and check out was easy. The hill was a lil steap but didnt bother us at all.

We came here to spend Christmas together as a family and we really enjoyed it! The only thing we have complaints about is the pool. My daughter broke out in a horrible rash all over her body and I had to take her to a walk in to be seen and it was a chemical burn, our eyes burned while we were just in the pool room and we were told it’s a salt water pool. So I’m not sure what caused it, but we know it was the pool and she has never had any kind of reaction in a salt/chlorine pool before or after swimming in there. She was so excited about the pool and wasn’t able to enjoy it. Other than that, the cabin was great. The drive up to the cabin was pretty scary, especially at night. So if you do visit, just be prepared for that drive up a uphill windy road and there aren’t guard rails on most of it. If we didn’t have the issue with the pool, we would plan to come back for Christmas this year.

This was perfect for our family. We had a wonderful time! It was all we hoped for and more! So peaceful and fun! The kids really enjoyed the pool and it was warm. We hope to stay here again next year.

We needed a property that was close to Pigeon Forge & could accommodate nearly 30 people. The property is absolutely beautiful & the amenities were amazing. The themed rooms were a big hit & the views were incredible. The only downside was the very steep hill to get to the property. We were warned of this & it is an accurate warning. Be prepared with a suitable vehicle.

Our group of 21 (aged 6-67) had an amazing stay at Celesta Vista Lodge. The listing and videos had us well informed on what to expect. The home was well stocked and we enjoyed the theater/pool house/hot tub/grill. We have stayed at many cabins in the area and this view could not be beat! We did see a bear one day and made sure to not leave any food in our cars. The driveway was no joke, but the listing makes sure there is no surprise. The owner and local property manager very quick to respond to any questions. The area around the cabin is great - can avoid all the traffic but still have access to stores and restaurants.

Super big house with the best view. Driveway was interesting, kind of exciting. The house is great for a big group. Loved having two kitchens!

The property had an amazing view. The cabin was as expected. The cleaners did a nice job. Our family enjoyed our time together there.
The driveway is something everyone mentions and yes, there is a YouTube video driving up that, but that does not compare to actually driving up the road in person. It is quite nerve wrecking. Even in low drive all of our vehicles struggled making it up the mountain. At the top you could smell all of our cars burning. It limited the amount of times we felt it was ok to go down and back up. If you are planning on going out to activities and back often that could be an issue for you.
We did contact the property manager upon check in as some of the game items weren’t working. He replied minimally and never responded again. We contacted him again after a couple days because the pool was leaving burns on our children’s skin. The first few days of our stay the chlorine smell in the pool house was very strong. The pool man could not get there until the afternoon before checking out. He did tell us he was the salt system was on a 5 but should be set on 3 and if the vent fans aren’t working properly that could cause the smell. He said he knew of similar skin irritation issues when the salt system was turned too high. Salt water pools do indeed produce chlorine. We actually did not complain about this to the host even though part of our charges was $250 for pool use until she accused us of breaking a cooktop that was that way when we arrived. The host denied a salt water pool had chemicals and basically told us there was no way the pool could have done that to their skin.
The cooktop issue- we were messaged right at 48 hours after checking out and told that we broke the cooktop during our stay and they came up with a charge of $1400 for parts and labor on a Sunday morning. I messaged the host back and explained it was pre-existing. She said she would get back to me but chose to charge my card $1000 and issue a payment request for $400 instead of ever responding again. The extensive checklist she claims the property manager does before every stay was clearly not done before ours as we found the gaming items not working. There were other items like broken tiles in bathrooms and cracked parts in the refrigerator etc. this is not uncommon for heavily used str’s and no complaints were made. If you stay here you must document every single flaw in the property. There is also trash thrown all over the side of the mountain.

I organize a large group of filmmakers and artists to do a yearly cabin trip at the start of each year to rest, recharge, create art and spend time together. This cabin was beyond perfect for our goals, and created a very special and sacred space for all of us towards those goals. Had everything we needed to find peace, to have fun, to spend time alone, to hang out together, to not worry about anything, etc.
It's by far the #1 option on my list for doing the same thing next year.

Had a wonderful time celebrating my 50th birthday! Beautiful cabin and view. Only negative I have was the hot tub stopped working Saturday afternoon and we couldn’t use it all weekend. Overall I would recommend this property for any family event.

You will have a lot of options to have fun, games for kids and adults. We have the best time. The view is something else, just beautiful. The pool area is amazing, our kids loved.I highly recommend this cabin.

Beautiful home, thoroughly furnished, beautiful views and amazing extras. Drive to top is as advertised, extremely steep; but well worth the effort. Owner is quick to respond and caretaker is quick to help with needs. Would definitely stay here again any time other than winter

The property was amazing and the on property amenities were perfect for a large group with multiple age groups everyone had something to do and enjoy. The pool house was great for all the kids. The daily bear encounters were the hit of the stay even for the adults. The only thing we would strongly recommend when describing the road up is not only the narrow, winding and rough road is the continuous extreme slope of the road. It’s at least a 17 to 20% grade. We love it

Great Family Vacation
Our trip was great from start to finish, Property Manager was on the phone with me at 1 telling me the previous tenant broke a shower head and he was there fixing it but may not be done before 4pm check in. Everything was fixed and working when we got in, but took a little longer than expected. They constantly kept me informed which was more important to me than getting in on time. Everything else was great, driveway is a bit steep if you aren't used to mountain roads, all wheel drive, 4 wheel drive or front wheel drive would be fine, I would not do it in a sports car. Bears were not bashful and had a few on the porch and got great pictures but never any danger. Place had plenty of space for large family group and lots of on site entertainment.

The house has everything to keep a family busy regardless of their interest. There are 360 degree views of mountains or valleys in all directions. We had a small bear visit that the kids loved to see. The driveway is steep but very manageable and worth the struggle for the view. It wasnt snowing or icey so we all easily made it up in 2 wheel drive. I would highly recommend this house and we look forward to our next trip back.

Incredible house. The only two negatives to this property are that the driveway is terrifying (you need at least all wheel drive) and there is no fire pit for outdoor fires. That said, the property was incredible and the property manager was great as well!

You NEED a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Very narrow road straight up the mountain with potholes. If the weather is snowy and rainy there is no way you could make it up or down the mountain. RAV4 and Honda Pilot could not make it up. Also be prepared to have everything that you need as you would not want to have to travel that driveway. No emergency vehicle could make it up the steep driveway. The house was spacious, but could have been cleaner. The pool water is chilly . It would be fine in the summer.

This is a very nice mountain home with plenty of room and things to do. Our family thoroughly enjoyed themselves despite nearly six days and nights of rain. We had a couple small issues but Scott was quick to address the issues and answer any other questions we had. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to others.

Celesta Villa was a beautiful property with the best mountain views and wonderful huge windows to look out on them. The rooms and bedrooms were lovely. The only real problem with the home is the drive up the mountain to get to it. It was long, narrow, curvy and pot-holed. We had a 4-wheel drive truck and two minivans. The vans couldn't make it up, so we had to use the truck and a rented Jeep Rubicon to shuttle our group up and down the mountain to a place where we could park the vans. The drive was extremely steep, long, and had some large potholes that have not been repaired. The video of the property warned about the steep drive but said the drive would be newly paved shortly. It wasn't. In spite of the drive, we loved the property. Be aware, however, that there are many stairs and if you have mobility problems this is a difficult place to stay. The pool was quite small, but the kids enjoyed it and the hot tub was great. The game room was amazing, with everything you could think of to play in your leisure time. We all loved it! Scott, the building manager, was wonderful and accommodating and took care of whatever we asked. The property owner was friendly and responsive to our emails while preparing to rent. Overall a beautiful and exciting experience.

I will start with the minor negatives if you call them that. The road well the reviews are true super steep but, not anything a good 4wheel drive or front wheel can't handle. The people ahead of us not so great with paying attention to rules so it delayed our stay and caused some opportunities. That said Scott and Raul were awesome and took care of everything quickly for us. Raul even went and found my sister who got lost and brought her to house.
The house is amazing, beautiful views, quiet, away from reality and just perfect for a family getaway.
We had 16 with us and it did not feel like it so much room to relax and play. Saw bears, squirrels, all kinds of birds and some type of wildcat lol. I will say we got lots of excitement with the bears, left the top off our jeep and had a friend in it in the morning completely our fault for not putting top up lol she was super careful and didn't mess up anything though.
I cannot recommend this house enough has everything you need and trust me when I say you will never wanna leave!! Loved every minute of our stay.
