Nestled in Munds Park, this charming cabin for $370 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Located 17 miles south of Flagstaff in Munds Park you will love this Unique Cabin. Backing to a seasonal creek, and bosting one of the largest back decks, your family will love the beautiful views and tall pine trees. This cabin is an experience your family will not forget, it includes penny countertops in the bathroom & hidden squirrels throughout the home. The cabin has been remodeled with new flooring & paint. A short walk to the Bar & Grill or the small convenience store. It is quirky, cute & will bring a smile to your face. Enjoy our nest! A few things to know about the property. There is a large fenced yard and we allow dogs. There are two decks for you to use. We provide a propane outdoor fireplace and a propane grill. The interior of the cabin is cozy. Furniture is newer and very confortable. The bathrooms have been remodeled and include new tubs. Large wood table in new addition is great for family dinners. Rustic but you’re looking for a comfy cozy place to bring your family and make memories and please think about booking our cabin. Please note that this is a two-story cabin. My husband and I have a downstairs unit attached to the cabin. We are rarely there.

We absolutely loved our getaway at the squirrels nest. The home was very clean and cozy. We had everything we could hope for and more. The host was absolutely amazing as well. We will be back for sure.

We stayed just after a snow storm but had good access into the neighborhood. Blanket of snow in the backyard limited some activities but had fun playing in the snow with the kids. Overall a good trip

We absolutely loved staying here! We decided to rent a cabin on a whim to play in the snow with our kinds and I am so glad Michelle and Tim's place was avaliable. They were incredible hosts and their place was perfect for us! There was plenty of snow and just enough room for us to play in the backyard!

I have never found a vrbo rental that felt more like home! The owner, Michelle, was absolutely wonderful! We stayed during a major snow fall which added a lot of stress but she treated us like family. She continuously checked in on us and even offered to send her husband to rescue us. The cabin has absolutely everything you could possibly need! Coffee, hot chocolate, gloves, hats, paper plates, solo cups..the list goes on and on! They truly thought of it all. The beds are so comfortable with super soft blankets. My kids are already asking to go again. I would recommend over and over!

Had a great time. Tim was so polite and we loved the fact he is a dog lover and said to just let the dog be a dog sitting by the fireplace looking out the window watching the snow was so peaceful would recommend this place to everyone and will definitely be back again thank you for the memories

With 3 adults, two kids and two dogs, this was the perfect size property for our family Christmas. And, Michelle was easy to communicate with and quick to respond, taking care of our every need!
Once the ice and snow were cleared from the steps, the kids had a great time in the back yard with the sleds Michelle has at the property. The dogs got in some play time as well. We enjoyed the indoor fireplace to keep us toasty warm and lit up the outdoor fire pit in the evenings. And, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and our Christmas dinner.
My favorite thing was the coffee bar! Michelle saw to every detail to serve the whole family. It was amazing!
Great get-away from the hustle and bustle of the city, nestled in the pines in Munds Park.

The host were extremely accommodating for everything that we needed. They communicated with us very well and we loved finding all of the squirrels. We all felt like we were at home and it was very comforting. We would definitely stay here again!!

House is very cozy/clean on the inside. Beds very comfortable, and love the kitchen table. Kids where trying to find all the squirrels lol. Outside deck needs to be cleaned really bad and maybe a little yard work. Front breezeway should be cleaned. Otherwise a very nice stay!!!! I would stay again!!!!

Great get away for family and pets. Fenced in backyard two level deck in the tall pines. Fresh air and relaxation. Money well spent. 3rd year in a row at same place. Owner keeping property is great shape.. Always enjoy July in Munds.

Wonderful place to stay!
The cabin was very clean and exactly as advertised. The back porch was the perfect place to spend the morning and evening. All questions answers promptly and the owner was always available if needed. The guy who lives underneath also came out to talk to us and was extremely nice and gave suggestions for things to do. All instructions were clear and easy to follow. The only complaint we had is that it was VERY hot inside. Fans and window units were available but the bedrooms got very hot during the day and did not cool off well at night. One bedroom has a window unit that did a very good job cooling and we wished there was one in all 3 rooms. Other than that we loved it and would definitely stay again! I wish I could give 4 3/4 stars!

This place was awesome. The fenced back yard was perfect for our dogs. And I like that they didn’t have a minimum size/amount of dogs. We have 2 German shepherds and a husky. This will be my go to cabin from now on.! Thank you!

One of the owners lives in site, which was convenient to help with the furnace. There was dog poo and a pee pad on the back porch.
This place could be so wonderful with a little more care.

The place does not have air conditioning throughout the whole house and only a small wall unit coming out of kitchen wall, it was very hot and uncomfortable to stay inside. The posting says and advertising air conditioning and we wouldn’t have stayed if the owner advertise “wall unit in kitchen”. The posting says Satellite TV, this is false too and the owner even said they recently canceled their cable service. Once again, we wouldn’t have stayed if posting said “Internet and Netflix only”. The bathroom sink says in posting slow running water, it doesn’t run, it is a dribble-my parents had to wash their teeth in the kitchen sink and wash there hands in the tub, I would get that fixed. The worse was when you sit outside on the porch and dogs were barking nonstop. They have a bedroom that is attached to the house that is blocked off and they stay there the posting says, which is fine, what I found out is that the owner leaves her 2 dogs alone and unattended for days (apparently someone comes and checks on them), and they bark all the time, the bedroom inside that the kids stay in is right next to where the dogs bark all night!! I did address these issues and her response shocked myself and my whole family. She was rude and just very defensive and mean, very unprofessional when you give feedback. Someone did remove the dogs on day 3. She told me and my family (elderly parents) at 3pm on day 2 to leave and would give myself half off, I said we were leaving the next morning and she said -leave now or NO refund. Which I never responded because this owner was not friendly and in all the years we have rented, I have never came across someone so mean. She will respond to this and probably with lies, so please be careful when renting here. Also-she had the nerve to tell me and my family that people don’t come up North to watch TV or stay indoors. haha - She has no idea what are plans were and what we did and shouldn’t matter!! Just post factual information on your “rustic” and needs a lot of care rental.

We enjoyed 2 nights at the cabin. Property is as described. All basics well covered. Location is convenient and easy to find. The outdoor deck area is beautiful! The fenced in back yard allowed our dog to be off leash to roam safely. Beds are comfortable and we were provided with plenty of clean towels.

With the gates we were able to let him run and he loved it.
The close proximity to restaurants and Flagstaff made dining out and restocking the refrigerator very convenient.
Tim was extremely responsive to our requests and both he and Michelle were great hosts. I highly recommend this property for an enjoyable vacation in the mountains.
