About this house rental
Nestled in West Barnstable, this charming house for $490 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Peaceful, non smoking home with heated in-ground pool. Clean, uncluttered and dog friendly. (No cats please due to allergies) Available openings 2024: May 17-June 9, June 22-29, August 17-24. Pool is open May through September 30. (perhaps longer weather permitting) This house has excellent Wi-Fi and internet allowing for multiple (consecutive) zoom calls etc. There are plenty of separate areas for everyone's privacy. Enjoy the Cape Cod lifestyle in this spacious and bright 2800 sf colonial. Find all the comforts of home in this 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house that sleeps 8 in beds. Crib available upon request but crib bedding not included. Keep the kids entertained with the huge great room with ping pong, family games and puzzles. The main level with 9 ft ceilings and open floor plan, includes well stocked newly remodeled kitchen, large table for dining (seats 8) and comfortable living area. Sip you coffee or tea at the large kitchen peninsula with seating for 4. The over sized great room has cathedral ceiling and skylights with room enough for your ping pong tournament. Bedroom #1 with a full bed is off the kitchen. The upper level features a large primary bedroom suite with cathedral ceiling, 2 skylights, a huge walk through closet and full bath with Jacuzzi tub. This bedroom is bright in the morning! Two additional bedrooms, each with queen beds and plenty of closet space share the second full bath. After a day at the beach, enjoy a lovely outdoor shower or relax by the pool while grilling out on the deck. The large in-ground pool is beautifully maintained at a comfortable temperature. It remains open June through September and possibly longer weather permitting. No Dogs in the pool or pool area. The shed is well stocked with beach chairs, umbrella, coolers and pool toys. Kitchen and Bathrooms are stocked with paper goods to get you started. (A clean sponge, soap, a roll of paper towels and Trash Bags in the kitchen and 2 rolls TP in each bath to get you started) The garage is vacant but not included in short term reservations. It can be included with long term reservations in the winter. The basement is also vacant but not included in the rental.

We were so happy with our stay! The house is gorgeous and has absolutely everything we needed. Nelly (owner) was so attentive and checked with us on the hurricane making sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Absolutely would recommend this residence to anyone seeking a perfect vacation on the cape.
And the heated pool was absolutely delightful !

Stayed here for a week and thought this was a great property! The heated pool was great for days when we didn’t want to go to the beach, and the central air made for a very comfortable stay inside. Owner was in touch and answered questions beforehand and even day of trip! Thank you for the stay!

My husband and I rented Nelly's house for a week's vacation with our 2 sons, nephew and their girlfriends, all in their 20s. The house was beautiful, comfortable and easily accommodated all 8 of us, plus 2 dogs. We enjoyed several ping pong tournaments, as well as the pool. It was a good home base for trips to various Cape Cod beaches. Nelly was helpful and responsive when we had questions or needed assistance. We all had a great week. Thanks, Nelly!

We just didn’t realize how hilly the property was and how bright in the morning the master bedroom can be with the skylights, also a little window covering in the bathroom would of been nice. About 20-30 minutes away from attractions for children other than Sandy neck beach. But over all very nice stay.

The property is exactly as listed , a big, bright, airy and clean home with plenty of room for everyone. We had a great time relaxing in this very quiet neighborhood hanging out on the deck and took several walks in the area with our two dogs. The pool was very clean and perfect for daily swims, which our grandkids loved. The kitchen is very well equipped for just about anything you want to cook up inside or on the grill. Nelly was a great host and checked in on us to see if we needed trash pickups or if we were having any issues, but wasn't at all intrusive during our stay. All in all, we had a wonderful relaxing week in this beautiful home and location and will definately look to rebook again. Thanks Nelly.

We stayed at Nelly's home for a week. It was in a wonderful and quiet neighborhood. Just a short drive to many Cape Cod locations/attractions. We loved the heated pool. Our only complaint, which is why we gave a rating of 4 stars, is that there was an issue with large black ants inside the house. We checked in on Saturday and notified Nelly Sunday evening of the issue. She was great to communicate with and provided us with spray and traps Monday morning. Unfortunately it was a persistent issue for the entire week, which can be challenging with 2 young children that do not like bugs. Other than the ant issue, we have no complaints. Overall, it is a beautiful and comfortable home for a vacation with extended family.

We had an awesome stay! The house was so clean and big. We really enjoyed the ping pong table as the weather wasn't the best when we were there. Nelly was always quick to respond to any questions and very easy to work with. It was a nice quiet neighborhood that wasn't in the middle of all the tourist spots but close enough to all the beaches, stores, etc.
It was nice to have big beds in all the roooms too!
Would definitely stay there again if we go back to the Cape!

We’ve rented multiple vacation spots over the years and comparably this was a fantastic property and one won’t find a better host than Nelly and her homemade sour dough bread. We had 3 generations of our family staying and between the great pool, and generous assortment of games, puzzles, table tennis and a piano, there was plenty to do. The house is not on the water, but it is central to everything on the mid cape and within a mile of beautiful Rt. 6A and many of the great communities on route and the many great beaches, in our favorite Sandy Neck Beach.
The house had everything needed in the kitchen, beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of space to spread out on a rainy day. We’d definitely look forward to staying there again on a visit to the Cape.

I could not have chosen a more perfect house for a family of 8 and 2 pups. I read the reviews and was impressed by the positive interactions with the owner, Nelly. It was clear she had pride in her property and cared about her guests enjoying their time while there. Sure enough, I had lovely interactions with Nelly, she took care of a minor issue immediately. The house is larger than it looks in pics and the kitchen was well stocked enabling us to make a delish thanksgiving dinner. Bedrooms are large and beds very comfortable. There is even a fenced in area off the deck for the pups. We loved it and hoped to go back in the summer to take advantage of the pool but not surprisingly she is mostly booked. I would imagine it is returning guests who loved it as much as we did! Thank you, Nelly, we have rented a house on the cape nearly every summer for 40 years this is definitely in the top 5!!

We spent one week at this lovely rental. It had a fully stocked kitchen, and the ping pong table was a huge hit. We used the large dining table for a huge puzzle to work on when we weren't in the pool. We were ALWAYS in the pool. It is so great to be provided with towels and linens. Nelly was an absolute pleasure as the owner, and left us with her specialty sourdough!

Great Family Time in Barnstable
Once again we had a wonderful time in Nelly’s Cape Cod home. The house was spotless, the pool was wonderful and Nellys communication couldn’t have been better! We were greeted with fresh, homemade bread made by Nelly. The property was so quiet and private and the neighborhood is lovely. The kids played in the heated pool all day and then it was so nice to be able to relax on the deck and have dinner. I would recommend this property to anyone staying on the cape.

Very pleased with house. Clean. Responsive owner. Easy to get in and out.
A few quick helpful hints. Bring laundry detergent. Bring trash bags for kitchen. And look out for the mailboxes on street. They are very close to the asphalt and are easy to knock over if back up to enter driveway.

The house was sparkling clean, the pool wonderfully warm and private, and the ping pong table was enjoyed by all. Relaxing Cape Cod Vacation
We had a wonderful and relaxing week in Cape Cod! The house was spotless and Nelly could not have been nicer. The pool was warm and clean and we really enjoyed spending the afternoons outside. The neighborhood is quiet and very nice and the house is a short drive to Hyannis. I would recommend this house to anyone! You will have a great time!!

Nelly was an excellent host, on hand with ideas and restaurant selections, went above and beyond to make us comfortable when the AC failed.
