About this house rental
Family friendly townhouse overlooking beautiful pool and the beach. Kitchen and living room skylights makes the upper level ideal for entertaining or just soaking in the joys of summer time on the North Carolina coast! Not to mention, four different balconies for enjoying the ocean views and sunsets over the intracoastal waterway. Full cable TV package and wireless Internet access included. We are set up for family fun including DVD movies, three TVs, and board games. No smoking and no pets, please. Family beach vacation perfection! We purchased this lovely town house in 2007, and enjoyed every minute we could there. Unfortunately we have had to relocate, but our loss is your gain! Please consider North Topsail Beach and our Shipwatch town house for your vacation plans. Property Features: Our two story, end unit is very bright and comfortable. It has under-unit parking and storage for your gear. From the parking area, you walk up one flight of stairs to the entrance door. A master bedroom, 2nd bedroom and full bath are located on the first level. The second story features a large living room, kitchen and dining area flooded with sunshine from the skylights. There are decks off the master bedroom and living room that overlook the ocean and swimming pool. Balconies off the second bedroom and kitchen provide views of the intercoastal waterway. Enjoy the extended cable with movie channels or bring your lap-top and surf using the wireless Internet connection. Swimming pool dates: Memorial Day Weekend until mid October. North Topsail Beach: North Topsail Beach is perfect for your next vacation getaway. The long, unspoiled beaches give you the perfect retreat from the crowds. Beach chairs and beach toys are provided to help you enjoy the beach. Just a short distance away there are a wide variety of restaurants ranging from fast food and pizza, to fresh local seafood. Activities in the area include golf, miniature golf, boating, fishing, diving, and biking. North Topsail is conveniently located between Jacksonville and Wilmington NC so that you can take a quick trip and see the sites of these fine cities. A perfect beach condo for a small family with young kids. My daughter loved the condo and the double twin bedroom! Thanks for a great place in a great location!

The beach access was great. Instructions provided by owner/property manager were easy to follow. Tons of games for use. Would likely not stay again due to poor cleanliness level. The townhouse does not appear luxurious, as per noted in description. One skylight blind didn’t work. Ceiling is peeling and falling upstairs. Vacuum only had one wheel, so couldn’t vacuum. The couch is a futon and had white stains all over it. Toe nails found under bed. Main bedroom still has a loud and super uncomfortable bed. Sheets and towels were clean. Washer and dryer worked well. Must bring your own garbage bags and toilet paper. Found cockroaches, notified owner, owner offered to have someone come spray. Pool was not open, our fault, should have asked ahead of time.

We really enjoyed our stay. The end unit is great because we had a view of the pool and beach. It has easy access to the beach and is close to shopping and grocery.

Owners gave us all the information we needed , sent very useful information about how to do things where things were and things to do close to were we were .A beautiful home with everything we needed , very clean .Could not have asked for a better experience and place to stay We love it , thank you

This was our 2nd time staying. The place needs some TLC, but overall it works for a quick getaway. The owner is quick to respond if there are any issues. Short walk to the beach.

This is our second time at this property. It is lovely, close to the beach, kids live the pool, there is so much space for a family of 4. The owner is super nice and helpful. There are so many games to play on a rainy day. We had a hurricane passing during our stay and had to stay inside and had a wonderful time still. Thank you again.

Enjoyed our stay at Ship Watch town house. Close to the beach and pool access. All the amenities of home, plus the peace needed to rest.
However, I would have preferred a coach advertised for comfort to a futon provided.

This was our 3rd year coming to the area but first time staying in NTB. Paul’s place is a great location, fantastic views of the water and love the convenience of having the pool and private beach access a few steps from our door! Awesome part of the beach for finding shells and shark teeth!
Paul was very helpful and answered all my questions before arrival! He even let us check in a little early which was awesome after along trip in!
As other reviews stated, it’s a great beach place at a wonderful price but could use a little TLC for sure, specifically with the living room furniture. Thankfully we had great weather so we were outside most the day but if you had a few rainy days I don’t think the futon would be the most comfortable for the family to relax on.
My son loved all the games and beach toys! The kitchen was pretty well stocked but could use a few new pans. Tons of glasses cups and cooking utensils though! The grocery store and some beach shops are only about ten mins away which was great and surf city was about 20 mins! We never went out to eat, but did get take out a few times at restaurants close by, which was great! For those with kids there is a playground and basketball court etc super close by and the pier which my son loved.
Overall we had an awesome stay at Paul’s rental and would definitely go back!

Best part was the short walking distance to the beach! So easy!! Could watch and hear the ocean from the balcony, which made it a very relaxing vacation. House has a few things that could be fixed but they didn’t impact our stay at the beach with our kids. Overall, was just what we needed. Beds are soft, but not too soft. Were able to push twins together so our 3 kids could use the second bedroom. Plenty of bath towels. Pans weren’t the best, and one of the decks had a rotten spot, but it’s a beach rental and to be expected. Be careful of the bookcase-not attached and our kid tried to climb it to get toys. great communication with owner-called me to make sure had everything we needed and was very prompt in responses. Would definitely stay here again

The apartment is very cute ! Lots of beach stuff available . Fully equipped for cooking in the apartment .very quite and friendly neighborhood .. wood definitely stay there again ! Great communications with the owner! Only things I would recommend would be updates on cautions in kitchen and futon and more cleaning in bathrooms and bedrooms ! That might be a cleaning troop issue and not an owner issue ! I would give it an overall 4.8 in rating 😍

We had a relaxing and fun stay with our 3 young kids. The convenient and quick walk to the beach and pool was so nice! Condo was clean and well equipped. We’d love to come back for another visit!

Loved the view from the balconies. Very close to the beach. Beach was not very crowded at all when we went. They had boogie boards to use at the beach, and a hose to spray yourself or anything else off if needed (very helpful). Would love to go back for another trip!!

We so enjoyed staying here for a long weekend . The complex is right on the ocean, and we enjoyed the view from the balcony. After spending the morning on the beach, my kids had a great time cooling off in the large pool. The townhome was spacious, comfortable and clean.

Property managers responded promptly when we was having problems with the hvac.. it was a new system.. finally got it fixed by the middle of the week..
Unit was clean but could have been better... utensils drawers was dusty and night stands was dusty... closet areas and pantrys was dusty could use a good through cleaning...
Unit could use some updating especially living room area.... needs new living room furniture and more comfortable outside furniture on master bedroom and dining area decks... We had a good time ..
Pool area was nice could use a bathroom at the pool...
Manager's gave use a free night with all hvac problems they was very very nice ... We definitely will be back... beach was absolutely gorgeous...

This was my family’s 4th time staying in North Topsail. Choosing this townhouse was a great decision. Communication with the property owners was 5 stars all the way - both before we checked in and while we stayed. The house was clean when we checked in compared to other places where we have stayed in Topsail. It was a quick walk through the townhouse community to reach the pool and the ocean! We are already looking at dates to book here again!

The house was just the right size for our group and we had everything we needed during our size. The beach was just steps away. The rental process was seamless and very easy. We will book this house again for our spring time trip.

This property is larger than the photos indicate. There was plenty of room for 4 of us and even enough for dinner for 7 one night. The view is awesome and there is only a short walk to a nice,family beach. The kitchen is well stocked. Linens and towels are provided. There is ample outdoor space on the 3 decks. If we were to return to Topsail we definitely stay here again.

This place met my 4 C's criteria: Clean, Convenient, Comfortable, and Courteous host. It's not the Ritz Carlton, but it's a comfortable place that is a short walk through the parking lots to the beach access. You can see the ocean from the back deck. The host was very attentive and responsive to some minor issues. Kitchen is spacious and has everything you need. Shampoo and bath soap are not provided. Nor are paper goods or trash bags, so make sure you bring your own. I couldn't find a hairdryer either. Like I said, it's not a 5-star hotel but it's a great place for a beach vacation. There are books, movies, puzzles, and games for days that are not ideal for being on the beach. We plan to stay again!

Very nice condo with easy access to the beach; restaurants, and bars are open during the offseason. The place was super clean and modern. My son is stationed at Camp Le June, and it made for easy visits with him; I'll be back for sure.

Perfect location! This was our second time staying here and I loved it just as much as the first time (last year). Very close to the beach. Everything we needed was included. Perfect for our little family trip! Definitely recommend this place :)

We stayed the weekend for our anniversary. It was absolutely perfect! The beach was great and I saw dolphins! I had pizza delivered once and food was only a short drive. There was a full kitchen but who wants to cook on their anniversary weekend. Visited the turtle hospital which I throughly enjoyed.
