The place is big and comes with everything you need for a longer stay. Big living room, big bedroom, two ground floor terraces facing the pool, bathroom with a bathtub, and a nice size kitchen with everything you need including washing machine. The place also has a tennis court if that is something you fancy, but I am not sure how to book it or if it is first come - first serve. You have your own free parking lot right in front of the entry, so that is convenient. Location-wise, it is very central and not too far from a number of restaurants or Praia da Mareta. But still good to have a car as Melides is a decent size town and it can be chilly even during high summer due to strong winds and sub-20C degrees most days.

As big and nice as the place is, I still find it way overpriced compared to everywhere else I stayed in Portugal. The apartment name is not listed on Google Map, so impossible to find without the help of the owner when you arrive. This made the handing over of the keys a little challenging in our case due to some language issues and roaming access when we arrived.

Lovely apartment! Hosts were fantastic, and even gave us a lift to their restaurant (it's not far, but I'd sprained my ankle the week before).

The owner was friendly when we met him, however, the communication and instructions for arrival were not clear.

Excellent apartment with all the amenities and very comfortable.

The apartments are difficult to find as there is no sign board and another hotel with similar name. The address was slightly difficult to decipher.and Lack of permanent reception can prove difficult if arriving at night.
