Nice 3 storey stone house. Comfortable, well equipped for up to 4. Good location, short walk to town.

Be aware it's quite a steep uphill walk back from town!

Location was quiet and fine

The showers didn't work properly. Both went onto cold after only a minute or two of showering for a minute then sporadically went hot and cold so impossible to have a decent shower.

Oven needs cleaning. Heating could be timed better...cold when we arrived home off the fells at 5pm

very comfortable, warm, comfy beds , very quiet, only five minutes walk to the town , lots good walks straight from the door very easy to get to all the other lakes and hills Ambleside has loads of amenities and good shops, places to eat

bit difficult to park but we do have a large car, having said that each time it was easier, and having a parking place in the Lake District is really good the stairs were bit steep which could be difficult for some people

Very warm and cosy. A good base in a quiet part of town.

Water pressure very low throughout house. This meant shower on top floor basically didn't work and the shower on first floor was very weak.
