Amazing view, delicious meals, warm welcome from the hosting family who helped us define our hiking itinerary for the next day

The location was a bit far for us since we didn’t have a car. Luckily we met a nice truck driver to give us a ride in a rainy day. The staff is awesome 👏 the dinner and breakfast are delicious. Overall, we really had a good time and enjoyed our stay.

The best accommodation on our tour de Mont Blanc! It is not on the direct route but it can be easily included in the itinerary between Les Contamines and Bonhomme (via Col de Joly and the Col de la Fenetre) which we highly recommend. Most beautiful place with a luxury Alpine feel, delicious home made food and a truly warm welcome. In the lounge area with a cosy fireplace, we enjoyed a refreshing pre-dinner drink. And from the dining room, you can watch the sun set behind the mountains.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

Friendly staff who actually came out and looked for us when we could not find the property, due to the sat nav location sent by Booking.com leaving us 8+ km short. Meal was very nice for meat eaters and included complementary wine with the meal.

Direcctions, if we knew it was 1.8km from the top of the Col du Joly it would have been much easier, we turned back before this point as felt we had passed all dwellings by that point. Perhaps also a sign somewhere on the way up the hill to tell us to keep going! Vegetarian meal was a little strange, as saute zuccihni but with the pasta and sauce from the meat dish. Believe many vegitarians would not eat this on principle.

Stayed in this wonderful hotel last year and decided I needed to bring some friends to experience how incredible it is. It did not disappoint and the cleanliness and Covid preparation were also excellent. When the swimming lake is finished this property really will have it all.

There are no indication of which road to take to the place, where one of the roads is accessable only by 4x4. On the way to the hotel take road passing Hauteluce, do not come from Contamines side (that road is not accessible by usual car)
