La hostal es preciosa, es muy cómoda y los espacios comunes son excelentes. Tiene un jardín hermoso en donde puedes leer, tejer en mi caso y fumar también. Te dan un desayuno completísimo y muy rico y la habitación donde me quedé estaba muy limpia y ordenada. A modo de aporte para las personas que quieran alojar, la habitación en la que estuve estaba justa y precisa para mi, pero no se la recomiendo a alguien que quiera algo un poco mas elaborado porque no tiene separación de sectores como el baño, está todo ahí mismo y la ducha no es para alguien que sea muy gordito porque no cabría, es muy estrecho para entrar, yo mido 1,60 y peso 78 kilos y se me hizo un poco incómodo entrar a ducharme.

No es que no me haya gustado si no que son puntos a mejorar: la chapa de la puerta de mi habitación no se le podía echar llave, estaba media malita, se demoran mucho en abrirte la puerta cuando recién llegas a la hostal, el timbre no funciona bien siempre. El grifo de la ducha podrían cambiarla por una que direccionara mejor el agua porque se esparcía por todos lados y no salía directo.

El desayuno fue uno de los fuertes (muy completo) y el alojamiento está emplazado en un casona muy linda. La ubicaciòn, no me gustó porque yo andaba sin automovil y me costó llegar (pendiente muy elevada). Un loro maravilloso de mascota. Las personas que alojaban ahí muy simpaticas.

Relacion precio/calidad, he arrendado departamentos más economicos (mayor cantidad de espacio y servicio) y que la habtitación estaba muy cerca de la recepción y escuchamos todas las conversaciones, muy temprano. El primer anfritrión demasiado atento, la pareja que les siguió en la mañaba, al parecer tenían problemas personales porque su trato fue parcialmente amable.

Breakfast was fine. I really liked the wood construction and feel of it. The staff were extremely friendly and made me feel welcome. They also were happy to help and advise as I hardly speak any Spanish The location was near lots of public transport.

I was told I could ring the bell to get back in to pick up my case during check in hours after my stay, but the bell didn't work or they didn't hear it. This was a bit scary as there's no other way of getting in.

Llegué al lugar y me tuvieron esperando más de 10 minutos en la calle La taza del baño estaba al lado de la cama, lo cual da una sensación de estar en prisión y muy poco salubre

El desayuno me parece bastante completo, la fruta fresca, los huevos revueltos muy rico. Puede mejorar la calidad del pan y su frescura. Además de un acompañamiento dulce. La ubicación es ideal, un barrio residencial con buen acceso al transporte público.

El baño fuera de la pieza, el tamaño de la ducha y la poca variedad de comida para pedir fuera del desayuno. La formalidad en el pago y la claridad de los precios de habitaciones.

Se escucha un poco entre pisos/ piezas y hay personas que no tienen consideración con el sueño de los demás

Muy buena la atención del personal, son muy amables y atentos. El ambiente y la decoración es muy linda.

Las camas son demasiado rusticas, no por el pallet como base sino porque se levantas los resortes y es incomodo, las almohodas estan flacas y son incomodas.

Experiencia horrible. Primeramente el día anterior nos quedan en confirmar disponibilidad para otro día más y al otro día ensima de la hora de salida nos dicen q no hay y tuvimos que salir corriendo y nos avisaron 1 hora después y pagamos 25 mil por 1 hora y media más. Luego por el apuro nos obligaron a pagar todo con transferencia a una cuenta cosa que jamás hacemos ya que tenemos una targeta para pagar alojamientos, y el trato de una señora y un señor fue un asco. Con el apuro se me quedo un traje y 2 anillos de plata el cual no dejaron ingresar y me pasan todo en una bolsa de la rabia nos fuimos y al final solo me entregaron 1 anillo y el de mi pareja de Plata no se quieren hacer cargo hasta el día de hoy.

Great location, very beautiful rooms and house in general. The garden is a real beauty too.

Staff is very strict with rules and any small diversion from the standard makes them reel. The atmosphere there is a bit subdued due to their behaviour. This being said, it depends who of the staff you’re dealing with. Breakfast is not great, never seen a place where you just get one tea bag per person for breakfast.

Some of the staff tried hard to be kind. I appreciated the effort in all sincerity, but it took their finally realizing that I genuinely did have a very serious injury and that I couldn't walk and was in terrible pain. I was in Valpo for medical care. Not a vacay. I was stuck in the room all day. Sight seeing was the medical appointments. Rustika IS NOT SET UP for that kind of situation. Had I had any idea of all the rigid rules and regulations in advance I'd never have booked here. It felt like a prison, with people who resented the imposition I showed up early, didn't leave the house, and needed special considerations. There is a great deal of YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED going on here. And boy do they let you know. Again, there were several good people who really did help but it's run by and for the convenience of the owners. I felt resented and tolerated most of the time and I have no Spanish fluency. You don't punish or shame a customer for not eating when YOU want them to eat, to have needs that don't fit YOUR facility. I am quite sure they have their own complaints about me, there are always two sides. But this place was a major mistake, grossly overpriced for what you actually get. I discussed the place with a number of others just to make sure I wasn't nuts. All of them were surprised, just as I was. Again, AFTER they realized I had a genuine issue, things improved, which I appreciate. But no facility should treat its customers the way I got treated especially the first few days. I'd have been better off in a tent and vastly happier.

This BnB has more rules than West Point and I'm ex military. I'd booked eight days so I could get medical care, relax and heal. Upon arrival I was told to wait outside (with a bad knee and three big pieces of luggage) while the house was cleaned. They relented but resented having to accommodate. Downhill from there. But $500? The place is constricted by rigidity. Food, drink, access to various rooms outside of set hours. I couldn't get an early coffee even though I requested it. I couldn't go out to eat, but you're not allowed to have food or drink in your room. For $500+ the client deserves better than cheap white bread and a half small glass of juice (see photo) and a few other tidbits. I was shown several Google Translate messages that I had broken the rules. You don't shame a customer. My orthopedic surgeon even told me that they called her and were rude, which simply underscores my point. The day before I left, while I really appreciate their help getting a taxi so that I could get an MRI, the taxi driver charged me 10k p for the drive to the clinic. Then the owner picked me up, same distance, charged $25k p, as well as $35US more for an extra night above what I'd been paying per night. I really don't respect that kind of petty gouging. Did the owners think we won't do the math, and then warn you about it? Is this what they want others to read in a review? I'm surprised they didn't check the contents of my backpack and my room safe or dictate when I could use the toilet. I'm the guest who wipes the sink, strips the bed, folds the blankets, bags the trash and leaves the room pristine. Did it here. I respect the property. But this was ludicrous and insulting. I trained at Walt Disney World and grew up in hospitality. I have never experienced anything like this anywhere in years and years of extensive worldwide travel. Thank god I have a good sense of humor. I'm turning this into an article.
