Just got back from a week at the shore in the Bartram Beach House! The location can’t be beat, the view is breathtaking and the proximity to the beach is the icing on the cake! The Bartram Ave Beach was clean and not too crowded and no need for badges which was a welcome change from most other Jersey Shore beaches. But honestly the view was so incredible from the house that we didn’t feel the need to go down to the beach everyday since we could enjoy it from the house without getting sandy 😂 We brought our dogs and having the grassy area right next to the house for quick bathroom runs was super convenient. The area consists of mostly families, and the house is on the quiet end of the boardwalk. The house inside is as beautiful as the pictures show, very spacious and room enough for our family of 12 adults and dogs. The pool table being in the main living space was a great decision as we probably used it more in a week than we used ours at home in the past year! Jason, the host, was very welcoming and helpful and even sent us a gift basket with locally sourced treats. Our family had the best time and would love to return in the future!

We celebrated Thanksgiving early this year w family and friends and the property was great. Location was convenient and close to boardwalk for daily walks. House was very clean and just the right amount of rooms for us. The Enjoyed the views of the ocean from every room in the house .

House was everything we needed. Big, clean, plenty of space to spread out, nice kitchen to eat dinner, and close to everything. Jason was awesome and would immediately reply to all my questions before and during the trip. My friends and I (9 total) stayed for 3 nights for our annual golf trip. Safe to say, if Atlantic City is our destination next year- we’ll be staying there again!

The place was renovated over the summer and you could still smell the newness when you walk in. The first thing i noticed when we walked in was how clean the place is. The pictures were accurate - the only thing worth noting is that there is one additional unit on the first floor, so the house is the 2nd and 3 floor. We never heard anyone downstairs (and hopefully they didn't hear us either!). Plenty of bedrooms to sleep in - beds were comfortable with enough space in each room. The layout of the house was great - master bedroom on the main floor, 4 bedrooms upstairs. Each family had their own bathroom - washer/dryer looked like a new unit, and all appliance were new. We made breakfast/lunch at home, so the cookware was enough to accommodate all 12 of us. Ocean views from pretty much every room, and great sunlight throughout the day. The beach is literally right in front, so it was so easy with the kids. Highly recommend this place. Jason was terrific too! Super responsive when we were on site and answered any questions i had prior. Would def come here again!

Property was perfect for our executive retreat planning meetings. Close to everything and the beach and boardwalk provided for a nice backdrop to meetings.

What an incredible week! Jason’s place is unreal! The renovation is fantastic- all the amenities you could want, including a coffee bar, smart TVs in every room, and a billiard table. It was a perfect for my family of 10, including 4 kids ranging from a baby to 11 years old. The house is lovely throughout but what makes this a real gem is the LOCATION! Literally on the boardwalk with incredible ocean views and beach access. Jason even thoughtfully has beach chairs and a beach umbrella for guest use. Our kids had an absolute blast spending their days on the beach. Finally, would commend Jason for being super responsive throughout our stay, and doing all he could to make our time comfortable. Thanks for a great week of fun and sun, Jason!

We had a great time at the beach pad!!! The views are incredible and the space was beautiful. Jason was great to communicate with and made sure all was well throughout our stay. We have stayed many times in AC but nothing will compare to our experience at the pad.

This was a beautiful property in an awesome location. It's an older home, with some quirks that aren't unexpected. Lots of stairs. Nice beds, nice beach towels. Having a garage to keep your cars off the street was an unexpected bonus - especially during a storm. There's really nothing but a single lot-sized city park and the boardwalk between the house and the ocean. It was a great place to watch the storm coming in, whipping up the waves. The deck out front was comfortable and a nice place to sit with family and watch the stars. We were bummed that due to Covid, we missed the AC fireworks, it would have been a great place to see them. Jason was an attentive host, easy to reach by text or phone. We had some issues with the house while we were there (hello, house built in the 1900s!), and he was super-quick to step in to resolve them.

A last minute trip. Jason was very helpful. You can’t beat the location, it had a lovely view. Overall we were pleased with our experience!

Jason’s house was an absolute dream. It accommodates a group of ten comfortably (and with extra room!), was perfect to relax on porch, grill, and right next to the beach for easy in and out access. Could not recommend Jason’s place enough. Jason was SO helpful too, even helped with parking in the beginning because we had to have a third car last minute and was gave us options for parking!

Will be renting again in the future, Jason was a great guy and very helpful, definitely recommend !

Best Family vacation.....adults and kids love the house, right on Beach in Atlantic City. House needs to be updated but overall excellent place to stay very clean. Bedrooms recently done and very comfortable. We had 4 adults & 5 young adults and one child. House has great dining room & kitchen for family dinners and quality family time. And if you didn’t wanna talk to anybody Several places to hide and enjoy your book or quiet time. It was great being so close to the beach and Boardwalk. Easy bike ride or walk to Atlantic City. Any problems that we had, Jason address them immediately great place. Would definitely come back here again.

On the day prior to our check-in (7/20/19), Jason phoned me about three items. 1. Beach House is being sided; work will continue daily from 9-4; upper deck is off limits due to storage by construction company; Note: -- VRBO website shows upper deck open and available to renters 2. Number of beds deceased; the 5 individual beds reduced to 4 double beds; I needed 5 individual beds for 5 teenagers; (blow up mattress delivered after arrival). Note: --website lists 5 beds 3. No dressers in 4 upstairs bedrooms; dressers will be delivered on 7/21 and Jason asks me to accept delivery, which I do. I was upset with the last minute notification since my family of 11 was flying from Chicago on 7/20. Upon arrival at the beach house not only was the upper deck off limits, the main deck was unusable; dirt, nails, pieces of siding and debris all over the deck; I spoke to Jason and sent him photos; there was no broom in house to clean deck; Jason tells me he had a broom but forgot to leave it; he will have Amazon deliver broom; he says the siding contractor (Frank) was to have cleaned the deck; he tells me that Frank will clean deck when he arrives on Monday; Frank does not show up for work on Monday, 7/22, and the deck is useless. No broom arrives from Amazon. Jason texts me on Tuesday, 7/23, to let me know Frank will not show up for work due to rain. He says that Frank will sweep and clean on Wednesday and Frank will bring broom. Consequently, the deck is unusable and no broom arrives from Amazon. Also, on Tuesday, 7/23, the Internet goes out around midnight. I text Jason and learn that the router is in the apartment of another tenant. On Wed. afternoon (7/24), Jason texts me that router was reset. I express dismay that router is in someone else’s residence and that it has taken so long to reset. Frank arrives to clean deck and leaves a broom. The website states that linens and beach towels are provided, there were no beach towels. There were a total of 12 bath towels and 3 hand towels for 11 guests…not acceptable for a property rated 4.5-5 stars. After returning to Chicago, I contacted Jason for a partial refund since he had texted that he would “provide something back to ease the burden.” He never followed through. Why did he wait until the day before our arrival to inform me about his home renewal project? Why did he continuously communicate that Frank would fix the deck? Amazon delivery? Jason’s actions were deceptive and dishonest.

What a beautiful location and home. We couldn't have gotten any closer to the beach. Jason was fantastic. He got back to us right away with any questions we had. The rooms were updated from the photos and were so beautiful. Everything was clean and we had no complaints. Thanks so much for everything Jason.

The location was perfect! You can see the kids in the beach right from the living room. The house was a little outdated but it was clean and had everything we needed.

Great for location- right on beach! Downstairs was undergoing construction and when we got there one room didnt have AC/power but owner was very fast in helping resolve these issues.

We stayed here Memorial Day weekend for a bachelor party and the house was plenty big enough for a group of 12 guys. Location is perfect and the house has everything you need to have a great time. The decks and outside patios are perfect for hanging out and grilling. Jason is a perfect host and even allowed us to check in earlier since we were traveling in from upstate NY. Definitely recommend staying in this house if you are looking to visit AC. I’m sure we will be back soon.

We had a rreally great time and loved all the decks! Beds were comfy and warm, lots of gathering spaces to hang out together. If you are planning on cooking bring pots and cooking utensils. There’s lots of silverware! We would definitely come back for a race weekend!
