Drift away and enjoy your vacation in this three-story home located in Seacrest Beach. Home fronts 30-A and features a fully enclosed PRIVATE COURTYARD with a grill, outdoor dining table and lounge chairs perfect for relaxing and sunbathing! Enjoy panoramic VIEWS of the GULF and evening sunsets from the 3rd floor deck. ''DRIFTWOOD COTTAGE'' is only steps to the 12,000 sf Lagoon Pool that Seacrest is known for and is ideally located between Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach. Deeded beach access is just a short 1 min walk across the street and if walking is not an option the Seacrest Beach community tram will provide a ride for your entire group to the white sand beaches. Parking for 3 cars only. (Lagoon pool will be closed from Nov 6th until Nov 20th 2023) This vacation haven is perfectly situated for all the fun surrounding it! The home features open living/kitchen area, ceramic tile and hard wood floors throughout, 3 large bedrooms, one on the main level with its own full bath and walk in closet that opens to a porch and private courtyard. The living room also features a queen sleeper sofa. There are two additional bedrooms located on the 2nd level with king beds, each with its own large balcony and attached bathrooms. The spacious master suite opens to a private balcony and has a separate walk-in shower, jetted tub and double vanity. The master also has a trundle bed with two twin mattresses. The 3rd level has a lounging/living area with a queen sleeper sofa and twin sleeper chair. The decks on both sides are a perfect escape to enjoy the beautiful Emerald Coast views! This beautiful home also includes beach gear credit. You can use the credits towards beach chairs, beach wagons, toys, or kayaks. You must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property. During Spring Break , the minimum acceptable ratio is one (1) person 25 years of age for every two (2) persons under 25 years of age. Beach Service The Seacrest Beach Homeowner’s Association is proud to have La Dolce Vita act as our ambassadors down at the beach. You can reserve beach chairs or setup a beach bonfire by visiting their on-line reservation portal or give them a call at 866-651-1869. Seacrest Café One of the newest additions to our community is the Seacrest Beach Café operated by Crust Artisan Bakery. The Café is located on the east side of the lagoon and features a delectable menu that is not your typical pool-side snack shack. They have seafood baskets, the classics such as chicken fingers and burgers, po-boys and sandwiches as well as a satisfying kids menu. Lagoon/Amphitheater Centered within the community is the Seacrest Lagoon. This 378,000-gallon pool is one of the largest private pools in the state of Florida, and is open year-round from 9am – 9:45pm for Seacrest residents and guests. At present, our amazing lagoon pool is heated only by the sun. The amphitheater is a grassy area where concerts, movies, and weddings are held. It is also great for a pick-up game of Bocce or Frisbee throwing. Tram Service From March through October, the Seacrest Tram service offers transportation to and from the designated tram stops in the neighborhood to the beach or the Lagoon. Simply walk out your front door go to the nearest tram stop and then call for pickup. The tram will arrive within fifteen minutes. The tram starts running every day at 9:00 AM and the last pickup from the beach is 5:30 PM seven days a week. NO GOLF CARTS ALLOWED! Beach Access Seacrest Beach enjoys a deeded beach access at the entrance of the neighborhood, across Hwy 30-A, through the Sunset community. Seacrest residents and guests may walk through the pedestrian boardwalk, or ride the tram through the easement. Restaurants/Retail Seacrest Beach’s neighboring developments, The Village of South Walton, Alys Beach, and Rosemary Beach, offer an array of excellent local dining and shopping options. These areas are well within a 15 –minute walk from anywhere in Seacrest Beach. Clean property, gorgeous pools, and a close walk to shopping and dining

The three of us came for a girls weekend to beach, shop, relax, eat & unwind. We arrived at 1am & by 7:30am the next morning, we had a parking violation on our vehicle because we didn’t have the proper permit. The office was closed when we arrived, so…we were put off by this action. Then, that morning we went to the check in office at the pool. They gave us a packet. When we got back to the house the packet had NO permit inside, but we had plans for the entire day & didn’t have time to go back to get the permit until after the office’s closing, so of course, we got another violation ticket on the car the next morning. It was ridiculous. When we arrived at the house at 1am the first night there was a HUGE roach - i am talking several inches large in the bedroom downstairs. We were very upset about it & couldn’t catch it and it went from the ceiling to the wall to under the bed. When we woke up there was a huge spider on the kitchen counter. Many of the lights didn’t work, including the one in the master BR on the fan, the one on the main floor on the fan, & many bulbs were out. There were no cushions on the outdoor furniture on the third floor patio, which was pictured with cushions, so we had to bring blankets and pillows to sit out there each morning & put them back each morning. The seal on the door on the downstairs bedroom had a huge gap. The paper products were horrible in quality for the price of this property. The master BR shower wasnt clean.

Driftwood Cottage was clean and beautiful! It accommodated 8 people (4 adults and 4 kids) well. The neighborhood itself is cute and offers a wonderful pool!
Overall, the access to the beach is convenient, however we were limited where we could sit at the beach. While chairs were available for purchase, all guests of our neighborhood were limited to a small section of the beach. That was very disappointing to us.
Rosemary Beach has cute shopping and good food options. Highly recommend bikes because parking is limited and traffic becomes congested.
We had issues with the Wi-Fi and maintenance was called twice. Inconsistent cooling (AC) in the house.

The house was very lovely… neat and clean. Location was great for getting to the beach quickly but be prepared for a VERY small and crowded designated beach area.
The house description on line was not the same as the info sent to us from rental company. On line had 3 designated parking spaces and check in time was 3:00. Other than that it was a great trip and the location is walking distance to shopping and restaurants.

Lovely Home

This house was clean, really nicely decorated, cozy & just as shown in the pictures. The kids loved the rooftop hammocks. It was a great place to stay for our family of older teens on spring break- they loved biking around to nearby ice cream, shopping, meeting up with friends & going to the beach. The area overall was less of a good fit for our younger child (over the spring break time frame) due to the huge number of teens & college kids everywhere. The location is very close to everything you could need- we only used our car once & could walk or bike to everything (aside from a shipt order of groceries). The only reason I would not recommend this location would be for a family with young children on spring break, as there are a million older teens biking around and the activities and language are frequently not appropriate for young kids. It’s also very difficult to get beach space or any kind of restaurant reservation or even carry out food or coffee at this time of year and lastly, the big beautiful seacrest pool is not heated, so it was ice cold at this time of year, so that was a bit of a disappointment . Older teens don’t seem to mind these things because they love biking around & socializing. Again, the property itself was great. Our only issue with the property itself was we could not get anyone to answer our emails or return our calls several times when we attempted to extend our stay even well before leaving.

The beach for seacrest community is very limited and was jammed up and not what we expected so we spent most of our time at the pool. The courtyard is a plus and a really nice feature. The house is spacious and has various places to gather as well as to have your quiet space. It could use a little refreshing to get a totally 5star rating. Master bedroom mattress is soft and has “sleep divets”, the washer did not work properly and wouldn’t spin out the clothes so we came home with a weeks worth of dirty laundry and towels. We did call maintenance and they replied they’d be by to check it, but we never saw them. The kitchen is adequate for rental but by no means luxurious if that’s important to you. We would stay there again but would hope to see a few of these features refreshed as they are able. All in all it’s a nice home. It’s the end of summer and I imagine it’s had heavy use the last few months and needs a little TLC.

This property was in a great location. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the beach and 5-10 minutes to shops. The house was clean and spacious. When you walk in it’s in the living room then dining room And kitchen. Next is a bedroom. You get to the back patio from there. It backs right up to 30A. The second level has the master with the trundle bed. The other bedroom in the floor is just one bed. Third level is a living room with a pull out couch and a chair. The chair is not something you can really sleep on and doesn’t even come with bedding. It was really unfortunate bc our group was 13 and that was the 13th spot. We had to end up sleeping 3 in the king bed. The pull outs are pretty uncomfortable as well. The mattress upstairs was old and stained and very thin.
Just as a heads up a couple things we were not prepared for. The house does not provide anything for the beach including beach towels and you aren’t supposed to take any towels there. They don’t provide any extra towels or bedding and the pull outs only come with thin blankets. There was only one trash bag provided. Not laundry soap. No spices or oil or salt and pepper. Not a lot of toilet paper or extra paper towels. I think there was only 2 towels for the kitchen and one we had to use for the leaky freezer. Another heads up is you can’t contact the management company through VRBO. I never got any info from them until I was charged the second time. I had been trying to contact them through the VRBO app but they don’t get those you have to call them. There are beach credits but just a heads up it doesn’t cover it all. And you have to book well in advance.
Last bit of info the beach access is right across the street. We had no idea how to get there and it looks like you have to go through a private area bc the gates for cars. You can use the walkway with your band on. We were super frustrated at the lack of info we had been given so hopefully this helps.
I hate to say anything bad bc this house is great but I would have wanted to know these things ahead of time.

Cute, comfortable, great location, and everything was in good shape. We enjoyed our visit very much. Our air conditioner froze Saturday and the repair man was out quickly and we stayed nice and cool. Rental company was easy to reach. All good.

Good location to pool, and beach. The beach was extremely small for the number of houses and very crowded. The number of permanent umbrellas and chairs took up so much of the Seacrest Beach that there is not much room to set up the umbrellas and chairs ordered with my rental. Bring your own paper products, trash bags and necessities. Very nice house and the hammock chairs were so relaxing as was the back yard.

We had a wonderful stay! The home is gorgeous, beautifully furnished and is perfectly sited to take full advantage of the pool and beach access. We did have a couple hiccups upon checking in, items left behind or not working properly. I promptly sent an email indicating these issues, as requested, then received a voicemail the next day asking to text the issues. I resent in text what I had already emailed, but heard no response. Communication could be improved, but this was minor in the scheme of it all. The area is fantastic, the decor is amazing - felt like we stepped into a Serena and lily catalog and it was the perfect getaway. The pool area rivals those of 5star resorts. The only issue re: the pool that confused us was the hours are 9am to 9:45 pm; however, you can’t go into the pool until a fountain turns on (I believe this was sometime between 11-12). Our kids were old enough to roll with it, but younger children might have a harder time waiting. If you’re considering this home for your stay... do it, you will not be disappointed! We went to Amici’s & Amigos for dinner 3xs during our stay.. fantastic food. Also took a short trip to the food trucks in 30a.. the frozen rose was fantastic & the food was wonderful there as well. Took a day trip to Destin, it doesn’t compare & wouldn’t waste time doing that in the future. Thank you for a spectacular week!

We loved the location and home, but it was so difficult to get in touch with anyone from Best Beach vacations.Once checked in I called, emailed and left messages with questions and No one returned my messages the entire trip. We also found dirty underwear in the drawer I would rent the house again but I just wish the communication with the property managers was better

This was a wonderful place to stay. The bedroom situation worked out perfectly for my husband and I and our 3 children (ages 15, 12, and 10). Fantastic proximity to 30A and the beach. We used the included beach gear allowance to rent bikes, and had a great time riding all around Seacrest, Rosemary, and Alys Beach! Even rode all the way down to The Hub one morning. My only "complaint" about the home was that the master bed was a bit too soft for us. May not bother others unless you also prefer a firmer mattress :o) The neighborhood pool is absolutely beautiful, but as always, too cold to actually swim in :o( Great lounging area, but way too cold for swimming (in Oct).

This was a wonderful place to stay. The bedroom situation worked out perfectly for my husband and I and our 3 children (ages 15, 12, and 10). Fantastic proximity to 30A and the beach. We used the included beach gear allowance to rent bikes, and had a great time riding all around Seacrest, Rosemary, and Alys Beach! Even rode all the way down to The Hub one morning. My only "complaint" about the home was that the master bed was a bit too soft for us. May not bother others unless you also prefer a firmer mattress :o) The neighborhood pool is absolutely beautiful, but as always, too cold to actually swim in :o( Great lounging area, but way too cold for swimming (in Oct).
