Hot tub temperature wasn't warm enough

Loved the character of the property and also the modern touches! Beautiful decor and spotlessly clean!

We loved it all just wish we could move the property to a more country location and add a swimming pool but this perfectly suited what we needed for this trip so was perfect

The location is superb - in the Heart of Bergerac and is also close to the River/Quay. The facilities were very good - everything you would need for a stay was provided for. There are lots of restaurants and shops close by - therefore for a weeks stay - you probably don't need to hire a car. They key question for us would be - would we stay again and the answer is probably yes.

The Second bedroom Mattress was very uncomfortable and too hard - probably needs changing. The hot tub, whilst a nice feature - occupies too much outside space and maybe a simple outdoor space with table and chairs would be preferable for some people. However, these are minor things and are possibly subjective depending on the person hiring the apartment.

The location was excellent, with garage parking. The gites was very well appointed and comfortable.

very convenient right in the old town of Bergerac, Nespresso coffee machine, clean, nice decor, lots of quality glasses, plates etc, nice shower, large bathroom twin sinks. nice fluffy white towels, very well maintained. comfy king size bed in larger room. parking in secure garage.. The owner did try and help us over the phone with directions but language barrier. and she was happy for us to leave the car in the garage for extra couple of hours when we checked out.

very difficult to find especially as there were road works right next to the apartment so all the roads were closed which made it very stressful, the garage was also tricky to find, should be explained better before hand. jacuzzi was over loaded with horrible chemicals, literally we couldn’t breathe so had to get out, the space is very tight in the courtyard and would be more suited as sit out space not cram a hot tub in, with fish pond underneath which was strange, hope the fish don’t suffer the chemicals. Also it wasn’t very clean, scum on top which was very off putting. The apartment smelt of damp quite bad, as it’s all exposed stone so suppose to be expected but wasn’t nice, also attracted lots of flies and mosquitos because of the water and plants, ( outside in courtyard) and the bed sheets felt damp the first night. was quite dark again probably because of all the stone. ( the bed was comfy but felt damp)

Location was perfect, very central. The apartment was beautiful with lovely extra touches such as guide books and toiletries. Great communication from the host throughout, and we were allowed to stay until noon.

The hot tub was the only thing that let it down. It needed a clean before we got in, and still, there was some scum on the top. Nothing that can't be solved, and we reported it to the owner

It was spacious, stylish and characterful. Also clean and well-equipped.
