Comfortable 3 1/2 Zi. Apartment (about 70 square meters) on the ground floor of the 5 family chalet Sunnegg on the Upper Glacier Road in Grindelwald for 4 to max. 6 persons. Quiet, slightly elevated position, patio, beautiful view, house accessible by stairs. The apartment is located in a quiet, sunny location outside the village center Grindelwald in the direction of Grosse Scheidegg, 2 minutes walk to the ski bus, 4 minutes to the bus. The ski-downhill slope (First) 200m from the house. The apartment was extensively renovated in 2017 and refurnished. Living room with dining table, upholstery with sofa bed, TV / radio, free Wi-Fi. Fully equipped kitchen with electric stove and oven, dishwasher, etc. Large corridor with wardrobe and cupboard. 2 bedrooms each with 2 beds, bathroom with bath / shower, sink and toilet. Non smoking apartment Pets are not allowed 1 parking space available.

Good location, ideal for access to mountains and Grindlewald itself, with access to walks literally from the doorstep. Stunning views from the property too. Made for an excellent base for a week alkingand exploring the area.

Tidy place, away from the bustle of town, with a great view

The property is well equipped and has two double bedrooms. It is a good option for two couples traveling together. The patio has magnificent views facing the Eiger, the Schreckhorn and the Männlichen Plateau. There is free parking and th apartment is approximately 100 steps above the parking area.

The area is great just outside the touristy centre of Grindelwald. We were the only people staying in the building, so it was really quit...which we like. ;) Lovely views of the mountains!
When we arrived there was a stale air/ smell in the appartment; maybe because it was completely closed for a while and it was pretty damp. We've opened all windows, but without insect screens it would allow all bugs to come inside.
The smell went away in most areas of the appartment, so it was fine for us....maybe that's just normal for the altitude Grindelwald is in.
Everything we needed was there....and more. There are games, books, Netflix/Prime app on the tv.
The beds are comfortable...the pillows not so much. But we brought our own pillows anyway.

This place is incredible. From the living room to the bathroom( yes) you will have an amazing view. The spot is super comfortable and was beyond enjoyable to stay in.

Absolutely stunning views from the porch. Lovely place to sit. Place was very clean. A little far to walk to town, (and quite uphill) but bus works and stops close by. I would stay here again for SURE! (but don't try to walk to town)

Had great time at the condo. It’s just as described and pictures can’t do justice to the view from the back patio. Parents and two teens took off each day on hiking in region and came back exhausted to quiet location good for sleep/recovery.

Amazing views
The owner responds pretty quickly. The place was clean and accessible.The view from the apartment was amazing.There are a 100 steps but was worth it. Grindelwald was the best.

Super Ferienwohnung mit bestem Ausblick. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Sogar eine Waschmaschine steht zur Verfügung. Gute Kommunikation und problemloser Check in. Wir können diese Wohnung wirklich weiter empfehlen und kommen ganz bestimmt wieder.

Komfortable Wohnung mit toller Aussicht
Wir hatten das Glück, die Wohnung recht kurzfristig buchen zu können. Der Kontakt mit dem Besitzer war sehr unkompliziert und aufmerksam, die Vorab-Informationen (z.B. auch zum Kaffeemaschinen-System) hilfreich. Check-In via Schlüsselbox war unkompliziert. Das Haus liegt etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums (wir haben die Ruhe sehr geschätzt), alles ist mit dem Bus (inkl. mit der Gästekarte) sehr gut erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben, gut ausgestattet und die Terrasse bietet eine tolle Aussicht auf den Eiger & Co. sowie die Möglichkeit, sich draussen aufzuhalten.

Wir waren begeistert!
Wir reisen viel, aber so eine schöne Ferienwohnung haben wir noch nie gehabt. Die war voll ausgestattet! Es hat nichts gefehlt, sogar eine Spülmaschine war da, was nicht selbstverständlich ist. Das Internet war super schnell. Im separaten Raum gab es Waschmaschine.
Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr nett, alles verlief einfach reibungslos.
Und die Aussicht aus der Terasse🙉...einfach ein Traum!!!! Als ich ein Foto gepostet habe, dachten meine Freunde, dass das ein Poster ist 🤣.

Excellent apartment in gorgeous environment
We stayed in the apartment for a week (2 adults, one child of 5 yrs old). The apartment was well furnished and comfortable. Environment is stunning and the lifts onto the mountains are closeby. Communication with Stefan was excellent and he was very helpful. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who is looking for comfort, quietness and beautiful nature.

Excellent accomodation
We are so grateful that we were able to live in this apartment for one week. The place is clean, big enough for six, extremely large for three. Situated 1 min from a bus station and 15 minutes walk from different hiking trail. The kitchen is super well equipped and the eating place outside was a joy each morning and evening. The owners answered promtely to all our questions and went out of their way to search for us things that we wanted. If you are as us a lover of good fresh milk and butter 1 bus station above the house you can buy them at the restaurant there.
We really hope to have the chance to visit Grindelwald and to stay at the same place again. Greetings from Belgium. Esmeralda & comp

Tolle Wohnung für den Skiurlaub
Wir haben uns in dieser praktischen, sehr gut ausgestatteten Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht ist phantastisch, der Skibus hält direkt vor der Haustüre - toll!
Einzig die vielen Treppenstufen sind - nach einem langen Skitag - ein kleiner Nachteil.

Von der ersten Anfrage bis zur Rückzahlung der Kaution gab es keinerlei Benstandungen bzgl. der Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter.
Die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet, modern und super sauber. Es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht, vom Gewürz bis zu umfangreichem Infomaterial zu Ausflugszielen usw.
Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können das Objekt 100%ig weiterempfehlen.

Relaxing family break
Clean, comfortable, well equipped to a modern standard. Fabulous views of the Eiger and Grindelwald bowl from the terrace and main bedroom. Property was ideal for our family of four including two older teenage girls. Worth noting there are 97 steps from the car park to the apartment although this wasn’t an issue for us.
Overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return.

Visiting Grindelwald for Eiger Ultra Trail 101
We very much enjoyed our visit to Grindelwald and our stay in Stefan’s apartment. The location is easily accessible by public transit and a short walk. The apartment is well appointed for self-catering, the beds are comfortable and the views are amazing!

Great apartment in great location -not much to improve upon. Be sure to get bus schedule from downtown to Mulebach Schule... incredible views!! Stefan was a very responsive and helpful host.
