Nestled in Mission Beach, this lovely house for $788 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Delightful 3-story, 3-bedroom, 2 ½- bath, 1 vehicle garage vacation home in Mission Beach. Nestled between the dynamic energy of the Pacific Ocean and the calm of Mission Bay, it’s the juxtaposition of two amazing worlds (just steps away from each other in opposite directions from the house). An ideal getaway with the full gamut of beach pleasures. Immediate access to boating, surfing, biking, restaurants, shops, and more. Walk out the door and you’re steps from where you want to be. The home is newly furnished and designed for comfortable beach living. It includes two flat-screen TVs, a fully furnished kitchen, three separate sleeping quarters and a one car garage. The master bedroom occupies the entire third floor with a king size bed, full bathroom, and private outdoor patio with a bay view. The middle floor has the main living room, kitchen, half bath, second bedroom, and an outdoor patio. The bedding here is a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and twin above. It’s suitable for a single guest, a couple, or children. The bottom floor has a second master bedroom with a queen size bed and full bathroom. The garage is accessed here. The ground floor frontage patio is ideal for relaxing, people watching, and just enjoying the vibe of the beach community. Bay boating options are many: catamarans, wind surfing, kayaks, ski boats, jet skis, etc. All ready to rent and launch at Santa Clara Point, just steps away. You can also sail out of the bay into the Pacific Ocean or just walk over to the ocean side with a surfboard. Hop on a bike and you can travel for miles on both the bay and ocean boardwalks, crossing over from one to the other at whim. Enjoy your aprés sea at renowned restaurants, coffee bars, and bars in the historic Mission Beach Business District, which is where you are, just steps away like the ocean and bay. A latte, a beer, a slice of pizza- all at your fingertips. There’s no reason to leave the beach area, as everything is available by barely moving. But if you are inclined to explore all of San Diego there is much to offer, and it’s a short drive to La Jolla, downtown San Diego, Coronado, SeaWorld, the San Diego Zoo, and many other desired locales. My wife and I have lived in the San Diego area before and always wanted to just hang out in Mission Beach. This home provided us with the location and atmosphere to do just that.

This is the perfect location to visit Mission Beach and Bay. Both are a short walking distance along with many places to eat, drink and shop. Lee the host is the best! The rental has plenty of beds and a large living/kitchen area for lots of people or just a few. I look forward to staying here again soon.

This house is the perfect location while visiting San Diego. Its very close to everyting. Close to the airport, downtown San Diego, Petco Stadium to cheer on the Padres, close to Snapdragon Stadium if you want to catch a concert just to name a view. The house on Mission Beach is in the center of coffee shops and plenty of restaurants. Take a right across the street you are on the beach which is full of life and stunning views. Take a left from the house you are at the bay within a view steps. Lots of activities there as well. The house is very clean and spacious. A lot of sunlight coming into the house and there was always a nice breeze coming in. The owner Lee meets all his guest at arrival. He was very friendly, humble and provided a lot of tips and everything you need for your stay. There were plenty of towles for the shower and also the beach. Boogieboards and beach chairs are in the garage with a pulling cart. There is also a full load washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipt and he even supplied showergel, shampoo, suncreme etc for the bathrooms. We cannot recommend this place high enough. Definitely worth and earned a 5 Star rating.

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. Location was the best, Beach less than a minute walking distance a way and Bay less than 30 seconds away. Molly’s Cafe and Moe’s Stake House steps away was so awesome totally recommend.

Lee is a great host, so accommodating and extremely thoughtful! The location of the property is perfect. The three story layout of the house was great for us, with our adult children and grandchild all having their own rooms and bathrooms.

What an amazing spot! Having never been to SD before we were so happy with the house and location. Walking distance to the beach and eateries and a short drive to everything else (SeaWorld, zoo, Airport). The house is spacious and so well set up. Lee was a great host. Thanks and we will be back :)

Very nice house in a good location on mission beach. We stayed for 5 nights and was recived by Lee in the best way. Positiv was location, house planing, garage. Negative was that some equipment in the house should have been updated. Also missing some more cheers outside. I would not hesitate to book this house again.

We really enjoyed staying at this property and its ideal location within San Diego. The house was spacious and had everything we needed, especially if you were using the beach. Having the ability to park was also a bonus. The host, Lee was very helpful and always on hand if needed (not that Lee was needed). Happy to recommend and would willingly stay here again.

We've rented through VRBO for many years, and Lee was by far the kindest host we've ever met. Thank you for making us feel so welcome, Lee! House in a great location with plenty of beach toys, chairs, etc. It is indeed the endish of the summer and beach houses are notoriously difficult to keep spotless, so a deep cleaning would be welcome. But the towels and bedding were clean, comfy and plentiful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to a friend. Thanks again for the great stay!
