Great location close to centre of Amboise. Host was friendly and quick to respond to any queries.

Poor quality furnishings that were very uncomfortable. The TV was old and difficult to operate. Although it was in a great spot, there was a lot of traffic noise as it was a narrow, main thoroughfare. There were minimal detergents, etc left for our use. The toilet is off the kitchen and nowhere near the bathroom.

Location in particular and everything in this apartment is excellent! Our hostess also tried very hard to get us a ride from train station to her apartment which we really appreciated very much since it was on Sunday and when there was hardly any taxi.

We really enjoyed our stay, the apartment was small but spacious, clean and very cosy and had all the necessary amenities. The location was also a big asset, few mins away on foot from the centre with its shops, restaurants and Amboise castle. Parking was available just across the road and had no problem find space even though it was very busy in Amboise during our stay. Highly recommend it!

The location is good and challenging at the same time. Good as located centrally, reasonable parking and good reach to shops. Bad because traffic is passing under the window of the bedroom. The bin collection service starts at first daylight, waking everyone. We loved the space in all rooms. We could keep all rooms at reasonable temperature through a combination of letting the cold air in when possible and closing off for the remainder of the day and having the living room airco turn day and night.

The bedrooms were on a rather noisy street; it is not possible to use the full strength of the shower as the room would get flooded (in the main bedroom). It was on three out of seven nights rather challenging to find parking really near to the house.

My husband loved the space after being in small hotels. He liked cooking and the size. I liked that it was close to sights and shopping in Amboise and walkable to train station. The lady who ran it came over in the rain to meet us. She arranged for a taxi for us since we don’t drive so we could visit some castles. The town and sights are just beautiful!

It is downstairs apartment facing the street with no outside sitting area. I would have enjoyed sitting outside like people do in France. Maybe a little table a chairs in the back would be nice.

This apartment is far more beautiful than its pictures on Bookings website. It's spacial, comfy and well-equipped, with enough sockets for all electronic gadgets. We stayed there for 5 nights and felt really at home from the very beginning. We arrived late on the first day and the host Muriel was so kind to contact me to see whether everything was ok. whenever we had questions, she always reacted immediately. A wonderful experience.
