Lake house Gem in the Poconos is nestled in a private wooded community. Enjoy the amenities of modern living with a cabin feel of the wilderness. This three story, 4 bedroom, 2 bath home with spectacular lakefront views located in the heart of the Poconos accommodates 10 guests. Brand new 7 PERSON HOT TUB with amazing views of the lake! ***Hot tub only available between the months of September - May. (Not available during summer months). Minutes away to Poconos greatest attractions including Kalahari, Camelback mountain, Mt. Airey Casino, Crossings Outlet Center and much more. Enjoy mornings kayaking from a private dock or sunsets while roasting marshmallows on a lakeside fire pit. There is a 4 passenger rowboat for your group to take out on the lake and enjoy the magnificent scenery. Keep the feel of a cabin and warm up with a natural wood-burning fireplace. The community includes an outdoor swimming pool(seasonal), tennis courts, miniature golf and a beach. This home features 2 LED Flat Screen TV with a built in ROKU player to enjoy on demand shows and movies. Foosball table in the family room downstairs. The living room overlooks a beautiful 128-acre lake where swimming, fishing & boating are a frequent activity. The kitchen and dining area are completely remodeled with modern style furniture and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is fully equipped & features a ceramic countertop electric stove. The home offers complimentary Hi-Speed Internet access(Wifi). The dining area also features a two-seat breakfast bar and a dining table equipped with benches and chairs. All bedrooms have large closeted space for extra storage. There is also a queen-sized sleeper sofa located in the lower level living room for additional sleeping space. The backyard opens to a private deck that overlooks the beautiful 128- acre lake, Lake Carobeth. The backyard contains a gas grill, modern patio furniture, a fire pit for those late evening bon-fires and a dock on your very own private beach. Every detail has been worked out so that you may experience a modern style atmosphere while retaining the feel of the country. All the amenities this home offers will lead to a vacation of comfort, relaxation and great memories! Other things to note Short term renters will not have access to the laundry room (less than 7 days). Pillows and linens are provided in this rental; however, bath and beach towels are NOT. Cleaning Fee: $120 Minimum stay is 2 nights ( except for holidays; min 3 nights) Security Deposit: $400 ***Renters must be 25+ years of age; A form of ID will be requested by owners prior to arrival for confirmation. Once a booking is reserved, a manual and other terms and conditions will be emailed to the renter. Recommendations: - bring extra towels and a robe for the hot tub :) - bring firewood for fire pit and fireplace. Would recommend duraflame logs which burn longer and cleaner. - regular drip coffee with disposable filters. Bring ground coffee.

Hade a great stay at Jacks place. The fireplace, hot tub, and lake access made for a nice little get away for us and our friends. The place had everything you needed and was clean and quiet. Would recommend and would come back again

Clean, bright spot with everything you need for a fun stay. Hot tub and fire pit definitely a bonus. Host was A+ and there to answer any question. Jack also made check in process a breeze. Stay without hesitation!

The location of the house on the lake is a true find. Our grandchildren loved taking the kayaks on the lake and the adults enjoyed fishing. Nights were spent at the fire pit on the lake watching the lovely sky. The interior is up to date and was set up well for our family, with some space for all of us to feel comfortable, not confined. I have already recommended this home to friends.

My family and I had a great time at the house! We loved the outdoor space on the deck, hot tub, fire pit, and kayaks. We had two dogs and 7 adults and still felt like we had our own space. Lots of wildlife around that we enjoyed seeing (black bear, deer, eagles). After leaving, we realized we had left our stand mixer in the cabinet and Jack was kind enough to have the property manager pick it up and ship it back to us which meant so much! Would recommend for a fun trip!

I was so amazed when I got to the property. It was exactly as pictured. It was super clean, jacuzzi and fire pit were fun extras and friends used the canoes to play on the lake. All my friends want to come back again with their families and even friends who saw pictures I shared, want to know where this is! Owner was very professional and easy to get a hold of. We will definitely come back.

We loved this vacation and the house. The house was great. There was plenty of seating for our group of seven and the furniture and beds were extremely comfortable, which is not always the case. There is a big, inviting, comfortable deck and a large grill which we used many nights and plenty of boats to use whenever anyone was in the mood. Fun.

My family, which included my 86 year old grandfather, 3 year old son, and 6 other age ranges, truly enjoyed our stay. There was always something to do for every age group and most of the activities included us all! It’s conveniently located near more activities than I could ever name. We spent much of our time soaking up the lake from the beautiful location at this home. We also enjoyed hikes in local State Parks, shopping at the outlets, and visiting the local zoo! Jack was an excellent host and we appreciate him sharing his space with us for memories that will last a lifetime!

Awesome place and great owner!
My wife and I with our 3 kids, 23, 21 and 19 and girlfriend of 23 year old stayed. We had a blast. Any questions we had were answered immediately. The house is clean and has plenty of room. Lake all day, grilling for dinner, fire pit after dinner and foosball after 10! We all had a blast! Plenty of kayaks and canoes. Highly recommended.

Perfect start to summer vacation!
The house and property were a perfect little getaway. The amenities for the lake were lots of fun for the whole family- kayak, canoe, life preservers. The outdoor space is very relaxing and peaceful by the water.
The house has multilevels- kitchen and dining on one level, bedroom and living room on another, other 3 bedrooms on the lowest level. We each had our own space but important to note if you’re traveling with younger children.
The surrounding area feels a bit run down but there are nice places close by for meals out.
Overall it was a perfect start to our summer vacation!

Wonderful cabin on lake front
We had a great time at the lake house gem. Everything is just as the pictures show. The girls had no problem finding things to do. It was a little cool but it didn’t matter. I must say our dog had a great time too! It was nice to see the doe and her babies. The ducks were nice to. Everyone was friendly and the neighbor hood is quiet. No unusual problems at all. My husband and I are seniors so we did watch TV. That was the one thing we had a problem with as the WiFi would go off several times during a program. We would not think twice about renting again next year. Jack was in touch several times to make sure things were ok. Please don’t hesitate this is a great place.

We had a great long weekend/4 nights in this cozy and comfortable lake house! Plenty of room for everyone and we loved being right on the water. It was chilly in early April but we still went out to the beach/dock area every day and watching the sunrise over the lake each morning was my favorite!

This backyard is a perfect oasis with firepit, paddleboat which my 9 and 11 year old boys enjoyed, a hammock and wonderful deck with a great view of the lake. We hiked at Bushkill Falls, went to Mount Pocono and also hiked at Lake Tobyhanna which was beautiful. This house is equipped with everything you would need to enjoy the outdoors, including cornhole, kayaks and a family sized canoe. Great stay!

Quiet Relaxing Vacation
We enjoyed our stay at "Lakehouse Gem". House was as described and we were able to relax on the deck and look out at the water. Houses were close, but the neighbors were not loud or rowdy. A little disappointed in the dock and the small beach. The dock was a little precarious to walk on and the beach was full of goose droppings (can't do much about nature though).

A nice and functional house on the lake. Not a lot of charm and very close to neighbors. But convenient and Jack is a great host.

Jack was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at this house. The location on the lake is great and we enjoyed the fresh air, having some space, the yard and the grill.

Beautiful cozy lake house!
My husband and I always get together for a winter camping get together with our friends and family in the poconos. We came upon this beautiful lake house. What a wonderful pleasant experience. The property is gorgeous and spacious inside and outside. The backyard is family friendly. Amazing fire pit and lake. The views from the deck are wonderful. Even in freezing temps we loved spending time by the fire pit cooking and eating. The stars at night can’t be beat! Even with all the time we spent primarily outside, we loved the coziness of the inside. Great kitchen, dining area, living room and family room. Enough bedrooms for 8 people. Will def visit again! The owner Jack is quick with responding. I def appreciated the text he sent us when we arrived and when it was time to leave. Just to make sure everything was okay and we didn’t have any questions for him! Book this place! You won’t regret it!
