Situated in Oceano, this charming house for $301 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Perfect mid-century beach house JUST A 5-MINUTE WALK FROM THE BEACH! Across a quiet street from a beautiful park & duck pond. Sunny, open, bright home! Quiet neighborhood but a short walk to excellent restaurants and a grocery. You'll have the entire house to yourselves -- 4 bedrooms with closets, 2 full baths, full kitchen, living room, extra rec room, washer/dryer, barbeque grill – even Foosball! Fully stocked with kitchen supplies & linens. Plenty of on-site parking. We even provide free snacks! Ideal for families or friends. When you rent a vacation home you often only deal with a large property management company. They’re typically available only Monday to Friday, 9 to 5. And even if you reach them during office hours it can take days to solve an issue – usually after you’ve checked out. And you often have to check in, fill out paperwork and get keys at their office, which can be miles away. Our names are Melany & Jon. We're experienced Superhosts and we own and manage this fully-licensed home ourselves. We’ve lived here for 30 years – California’s Central Coast is heaven on Earth to us! Your key will be waiting for you at the house in a lock-box. We live 5 minutes from the property and are available to help 24/7. You’ll have our personal cell number -- call or text ANYTIME! We’ll deal with any issue immediately. We are familiar with all the local shopping, activities, and restaurants (honestly we eat out too much). We’d LOVE to recommend places and activities to make your stay absolutely amazing!! Private house and yard for your exclusive use. Plenty of on-site parking. Self check in. No stairs inside or outside. Owners live 5 minutes away and are always available. Large windows in every room. King-size bed in each bedroom with deluxe pillow-top mattress. We were in the area for a family reunion which was held near the beach use. We had a wonderful stay in Oceano. The home was clean and everything we needed for a long weekend with family! Jon and Melany communicated via text and left us snacks! Great home, great hosts, great stay!

Great location! My 2 year old granddaughter had a great time at the playground across the street! Plenty of room for all family members and King size beds in each room! Hosts were very friendly and eager to help with dining and sightseeing recommendations! Check out was super easy!! Thanks to Melany and Jon!

I have to say, Melany and Jon went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and set up. The House was great and we would definitely stay there again. Its in a great little neighborhood and right near the beach. Fun time!

Communication with owners was great. They made sure we had what we needed. My family and I had an amazing time. It was roomy, cozy, and just perfect for our needed. The park is right across the street and walking distance to beach. Short drive to Pismo and close to town. Would definitely stay here again!

We appreciated the communication from the owners. There were a few hick ups, but overall it was a good stay and as a family we are so grateful. We really enjoyed walking the beach in the morning picking up sea shells as a family and returning back to play at the park accross the street shortly after. The 3 kids (under 8) were highly entertained.

The house was great, but the couches were terribly uncomfortable. Everything else was good.

Our dog had just gone to hospital so we were late for check in. It was as exactly as they told us. It had a park across from the house. It was close to beach and markets and restaurants. It was also close to Avila beach where my daughter was getting married. Lovely place to stay. We also had to contact owners because our key was left in a Lyft car. They met us at the house and let us in. Jon an Melany were great host

Poor access for wheelchair-driveways have gravel, high transom at gate, doorway entrance, shower ,and very low sofas. Only accessible seat a chair at dining table with a cushion I brought.
Photos of the property are not what is in it, e.g. thank goodness no white furniture, sofas covered but not user friendly for me.
Moldy shower, dirty windows.

Family members from LA and SF area met for a weekend in a very central spot. The house had just enough equipment for our group. The owners were very helpful and responsive to requests. Our kids loved the nearby park and the short walk to the diner. They also loved the foosball game. This house was a good choice for us.

Cozy house with beamed ceilings...we were very comfortable there and enjoyed the location/proximity to the beach. Happy to have 4 king beds and Jon & Melany accommodated us regarding our small dogs.

Overall it was a great stay! The kids loved the park across the street, and the host was communicating throughout our weekend to make sure we had everything we needed. Our family of 7 adults and 3 children fit comfortably. The sofas were foldable sofa beds which made extra sleeping areas. Normal wear and tear throughout the house. The kitchen had all your basic necessities; utensils, cups, plates, pots, and pans. The coffee maker worked great, and there was coffee and tea available. Downtown San Luis Obispo is only 15-20 mins. I would recommend it!

This home is super cute and the owners are absolutely AWESOME. Close to the beach, kind neighbors and we enjoyed the melodrama, just a few blocks away.
It needs a few upgrades. Beds and couches need to be replaced, the kitchen can use little things like a blender, more items to cook and prepare meals with..
All and all a great experience and we appreciate the conscious efforts to maintain an affordable VRBO.

We were at a loss for words. I think they need to update those advertisement photos that were used. Get the pest control guy out there. Definitely do some major dusting, floor boards, windows inside and out, bathroom vents, bathroom tub, there’s just to much list. Just passing through we only stayed one night. Unfortunately we can’t give a positive review. Yes they were ready available for us if we needed them. We just didn’t even want to bother with it.

This home was our home for a few days in August. Roomy, comfortable, and close to the beach, shops, and highway 1. The hosts are friendly and attentive. It was the ideal place for our little family reunion.

One of the showers was absolutely disgusting. You can tell they just do a quick rub, and not a thorough clean of the shower. Makes me wonder why they charge such a large cleaning fee.
The rest of the house was very clean. Clean enough that you can walk around barefoot, just that one shower was dirty. Would stay here again.

Comfortable stay
My family enjoyed our stay. The rooms were comfortable. My kids enjoyed the lounge room. The beach is a 15-20 minute walk but we drove because you can drive onto the beach with your vehicle ($5 vehicle charge).

The property has four bedrooms and would handle a large group easily. It is close to many places and the beach. My only observation, and it’s because I’m 69, is that while it has plenty of seating, a couch would be nice 😎.
