perfect location - close to the beach, shop, restaurant

kitchen was dirty, we had to clean it before we started using. oily handles - I check in previously opinions and it looks like the problem was before just nobody care. living room wasn’t too bad - but deep cleaning needed. toilets was alright. extra bedding kept in the wardrobe disgusting- stains I don’t know after what. generally we were disappointed as local had very high hygiene rate. garden could have nicer view too… beautiful apartment that needs heart and lots of work.

Bedroom with black bedframe and balcony - bed was extremely high up - needed to basically run and jump to get on it, also felt and sounded like it was going to fall apart (the middle decorative footboards screws had no thread and it was falling off) so we gave up the first night and took the base and mattress off and made a bed on the floor for the rest of our stay. The upstairs balcony door didn't open, opened a window slightly and then couldn't get it closed again. Cotton bud with earwax found on the floor. Bedroom with white/cream bedframe- unfortunately couldn't get away with taking the mattress off and putting it on the floor, bed frame again was extremely noisy/ felt like it was going to fall apart, mattress was very very thin and lumpy. Kitchen- cupboards and plates all had a damp smell, kettle blew a fuse, had to find the fuse box and it tripped the socket electrics. Alarm system by the front door went off started bleeping a few times within the space of 2hrs on one of the days. Bathrooms- well I hope you don't like privacy as you'll see everything when someone's showering upstairs as there's a 'frosted' window directly by it. Toilets weren't too bad, upstairs one rocked side to side though, shower was very temperamental, in the night with the lights on everything was very obvious through the windows into the bathroom. Upstairs toilet brush fell apart. Main front door- had to boot the bottom of each each time we had to go back in.

Sea views from property, spaciousness, presentation (pictures, etc.) comfort, attractive (albeit long - 3 miles) walk into Hastings, easy parking.

No coat hooks anywhere in apartment, lack of some basics in kitchen (no teapot, bread bin, bread board, measuring jug or corkscrew), and numerous maintenance issues (window handles broken in kitchen and cloakroom; kitchen poorly installed - issue with fridge/freezer doors; access to first floor balcony). In addition, there was no information on the property itself (e.g. what to do with rubbish) or local amenities (e.g. nearest doctor, shops, etc.)

The view from the front of the property was lovely, the apartment was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable.

The view and location at the back of the property was run down. The front seating space could do with an upgrade.

Location is convinient. Easy access. Free parking.

The flat was very dirty, especially kitchen. All surface and handle bars are sticky. Dirty fridge and plates. Smelly rooms due to lack of ventilation. We called the management who said cleaner would come back, but no one showed up, so we cleaned ourselves. Bathroom and toilets were the same, sticky to touch, shower screen still wet when we arrived, we had to clean before using. The neighbour upstairs played extremely loud music so the kids couldn't sleep, after we knocked on the door he tuned down but around mid-night start to jump on the floor and shouting uncontrollably for about an hour, we nearly called the police. Luckily the kids didn't wake up but neither of us slept just in case. We booked two nights but had to leave one day early. The flat doesn't feel safe we will not recommend anyone to come.

Very spacious with big rooms, nice garden/patio, and excellent location. Quirky furnishings.

Plumbing needs some maintenance, as does the kitchen.

For us, the location was really great as right by the beach (3 min walk). However, it is about a 20 min walk to the centre of st Leonard’s where most restaurants are, and there is only a corner shop rather than a full supermarket. Would recommend having a delivery prior to arrival if staying for some time. The property is very large and has a nice outdoor space with cushioned sofas.

Cleanliness could have been improved especially in the bathrooms. A deep clean was needed- the floors in the kitchens and then bathrooms needed a wash. Shower gel had water in rather than being a full bottle. The front bedroom was very very hot and had no fan. Windows were locked shut in most rooms so difficult to ventilate. Slightly tired decor.

Outlook and view very nice. Large rooms, well decorated. Good facilities. Clean. Nice garden area and newer furniture than previous reviews but unfortunate weather not kind enough to be able to use.

Kitchen needs revamp. Heating controls not evident and bit hot - a welcome guide on flat would be useful. Main bedroom four-poster may have doubled as a bunkbed as was so high, we could not use.

Great location , loads of space , nice views

The high ceilings , big windows of this converted house were lovely and the sea view from both the lounge and the master bedroom with 4 poster bed Wi fi worked well

It is a little tired , but we can forgive a grand old lady that - we enjoyed our stay
