It is a lovely home. We enjoyed the pool and having the kitchen to have breakfast. Great views from the 2nd floor. Lots of great hiking there and easy to get around. Fabulous 2 weeks. Great hosts! Hope to get back one day. Thx very much Paula Love Portugal 🇵🇹

We just finished our month long stay at this beautiful, spacious villa. The wonderful hosts, Arie and Paula greeted us upon our arrival and were always available for any questions. This villa was very well equipped inside and out and so spacious with wonderful hot water pressure for showers each morning for 6 adults. The outside patio and pool were the highlight for us. Always wonderful to come back from touring around to spend cooling time in the large clean pool and patio. The villa was walking distance to the town of Carvoeiro. We also enjoyed evening scenic cliff walks minutes away and were able to walk to a cluster of wonderful outside restaurants and bars. We cannot recommend this beautiful villa enough. The villa is gorgeous - spotlessly clean and well equipped. There were 8 of us and we had loads of room to spread out. It is situated in a quiet, luxury, residential area and the pool was a huge hit with our two granddaughters. The glorious weather helped. It was a bit of a hike to the town and its two beautiful beaches with a couple of fairly steep hills but well worth the effort. Carvoeiro is a lovely town but quite small. We stayed over Easter so it wasn't too crowded but it might be an issue in peak season. Some beautiful walks along the cliffs and some very nice restaurants. Highly recommend Levels and Mama Mias. We didn't bother to hire a car for the duration of the trip instead we just used Uber for day trips and visits to the large out of town supermarket and it worked really well. The nearby town of Sives is definitely worth a look.

We couldn’t have asked for anything better. Paula and Arie are excellent hosts and very friendly. The house was spotless; beds are comfortable; lots of water pressure in the shower; comfortable outdoor furniture. We certainly enjoyed our Welcome Basket. There was just the 2 of us, so more house than we needed. The weather was warmer than expected (but not warm enough to swim) but we enjoyed sitting around the pool any time we weren’t out exploring. Paula and Arie, we enjoyed meeting your friends at brunch. We look forward to you coming to Canada for a visit and for sure will reach out the next time we are in the Algarve. Villa surpassed my expectations. Very well equipt with masses of space. Easy walking distance to caroveiro. Lovely big clean pool. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

We had a wonderful stay in this property. The house is spacious, well equipped and perfect for a large group of family and friends. The pool and outdoor areas are a real plus. The villa is well located for exploring the Algarve and our hosts were lovely. Highly recommend.

Everything about our 10 day stay at this beautiful villa was fabulous. We were a party of 7 on holiday for a mixture of golf and relaxation. There was ample space for all of us with good sized rooms, comfy beds and three walk in showers. The location was peaceful with any easy walk into town. The hosts were so friendly and generous and made us all feel comfortable as soon as we arrived. Excellent stay, we will be back.

No positives about the villa! The area is fantastic and a nice walk into town. I will start with the pool area and outside. The pool has an algae stain at water level and when we removed the pool cover we found a pair of trainer socks a deflated football and carrier bags in the pool only once during our visit did anyone attempt to clean it. The outside area had not been swept and there were cigarette butt's everywhere. The outside furniture was all damaged and the owner replaced it There was only 1 parasol and the villa caters for 8 people. Inside, the master bedroom had the shower doors hanging off and these did not get fixed for the duration of the holiday. All the bathrooms were tired and needed attention. None of the furniture on the balcony had been maintained and wasn't fit for use. Downstairs, the kitchen tops still had food bits on them so we had to clean everthing. The front door and patio door locks were broken, the front door lock did get fixed the next day We arrived mid afternoon in 30 degree heat and had no controls for the air-conditioning. The owner lives next door so was easily contacted and the response to all the things wrong were that they had a party of five males last week and they had caused all the damage to the villa and if we wanted the air-conditioning it was €150 for the week and if we didn't like it to find somewhere else and refund us. The owner did bring the remotes over later on and said wait till my husband is available and we can sort things out. There was no mention of an extra cost on the booking criteria. We met with the husband next day who agreed to replace the furniture and provided another parasol. He apologised for the damage caused by the previous occupants and waived the €150 euro charge for the air-conditioning. Will definitely revisit the area but not this villa and won't book with Vrbo as the description and photos are not up to date.

Villa was spacious and very clean, with all the facilities we needed. Outside was great with large pool and nice barbecue area. Location is a 15 minute walk to town, bit hilly but plentiful Ubers if you don't fancy the walk back! Hosts were friendly and helpful.

The villa was everything we hoped it would be. Ample space, great pool, lovely rooms & great hosts. Such a beautiful and quiet location. Thanks so much for having us!

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, der Pool ist super, sehr große Terrasse, alles sehr geräumig auch im Haus.

Agréable séjour merci aux hôtes qui vivent à côté et sont extrêmement discrets!!! À refaire!!!

Een royal 8 persoons huis met een heerlijk groot zwembad. De kamers en badkamers zijn groot en schoon. In 15 minutes loop je naar t dorpje. In het dorpje zijn volop taxies die je voor circa €5,- weer naar huis brengen.

Très belle prestation .la maison est belle , Piscine au top , femme de ménage .

Große Villa mit viel Platz. Helle Zimmer uns sehr gut ausgestattet. Für uns war die Lage ideal: Am Meer gelegen, kurze Wege zu guten Restaurants und viele Golfplätze in der Nähe. Wir kommen wieder 👍

Avec la situation actuelle lié au covid, nous voulions une maison avec piscine non loin de la mer pour les enfants. Toute la famille est reparti avec le coeur lourd de quitter la maison et cette petite ville magnifique et encore préservé des gros immeubles touristiques tel que l'on trouve à Portimao et Albufeira. L'emplacement de la maison est idéal situé à quelques minutes à pied du centre et face à la mer (quelques mètres seulement pour être à la plage en contre bas des falaises) et au calme. Les autres plages sont toutes accessible à seulement quelques minutes en voiture (de 5 min à 15min environ). La maison est spacieuse, très bien entretenue avec une superbe piscine où l'on a passé notre temps du matin au soir en famille. Les volumes sont grands et on s'y sent très bien, tellement bien que se sentait chez nous. Et une mention spéciale au couple loueur qui ont été très chaleureux et serviable. Merci à vous deux pour votre gentillesse. Une expérience à refaire et une adresse que nous gardons en priorité.
