Situated in Crystal River, this lovely house for $422 per night is a great choice for your next break. Casa luz del sol means house of sun light. This west facing home certainly delivers on its name. From the open concept front living room with architectural windows to the huge sun/rec room bringing the beautiful outdoors in. You won't believe the luxury awaiting you in this beautiful waterfront 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom 2700 sq ft vacation home on a deep water canal in Crystal River. This home has just been completely remodeled with a new kitchen with granite, all new beds with new mattresses, linens, and bedding and hardwood floors in all bedrooms and hall. This is easily the best value in crystal river as it’s more than 50% larger than most other vacation rentals yet listed at 50% less than what they charge. We keep our prices low so we stay fully booked. Also the owner manages the property and answers calls immediately. Be weary of others using poor property managers you can never reach. This house comfortably sleeps 12 with a 1 king, 2 queens, 2 pull out sofa sleepers, and a futon. What's unique about this home that you won’t find in other rentals is it offers 4 separate living areas for added privacy (living, family, library and a huge rec room with home theater and pool table). When you walk through the entry double wood doors you are transfixed on the openness of the living room with large hickory beams across the cathedral ceiling, giving you that Swiss chalet feel. This room is great for watching tv on the 55" flat screen TV. Walk through the slider doors into the large recreation room with cathedral tongue and groove wood ceilings. It is surrounded by windows and offers great panoramic views of the water. If you want more privacy, you can pull down the exterior sun shades. It also has a home theater with 100" projection screen and dvd player with comfy seating for 10. This room is popular for family movie night, playing indoor ping pong. Just down the hall you'll enter the family room with fireplace and 43" flat screen tv. Situated behind this room is a cozy and quiet library sitting room complete with rattan sofa and table with 2 chairs for enjoying your morning coffee. All 3 bedrooms include large flat screen TV's. The 2 bathrooms have both been remodeled with granite counter top vanities and tiled showers. The kitchen has been remodeled with new granite counter tops, appliances, and a large eating area with 4 bar stools. It is fully stocked with all your kitchen needs. The dining area has a large country wooden table with 6 chairs. Outside there is a covered arbor with patio living area complete with two tables and chairs with a fire pit. There is a charcoal grill as well. Down to the water you will find a very large floating dock over 35' in length. This dock sits in deep water and can easily accommodate 2 - 3 boats. The canal is extra wide to easily turn your boat around. Most others are not. Plus there is a boat launch less than half a mile away making it super easy access to our dock. Another huge benefit over other rentals is we have an oversized winding driveway easily accommodating 6 or more vehicles plus a large side yard which can store 2 boat trailers. You won’t find this In other rentals. Most don’t always think ahead of this prior to booking and really struggle with once they get here. Crystal River is known as the 'Home of the Manatee' and offers great restaurants, shops, and water activities, like fishing, kayaking, boating, and more. You can fish fresh water game from King's bay or take the 25 minute trip down Crystal River to the Gulf of Mexico and catch anything from trout to shark. Fishing off the dock, you can catch blue gill, large mouth bass, sail catfish, blue crabs and mangrove snapper. Which ever place you choose to stay, you can't go wrong in Crystal River - it's old Florida at its best. It's scenic, surrounded by wild life, and with beautiful clear blue springs. You can see dolphin and manatee almost every time you go boating and sometimes right off our dock. And there are otters living in this canal as well. For your recreation pleasure, we also have 2 mens and 1 ladies 10 speed bikes, 7 kayaks, and 2 paddle board.s We know you have many choices in where you choose to stay, so we do our best to make our home your best option. We think you'll find it a great place to relax and unwind while being spoiled with luxurious amenities. We also live within 30 minutes so we’re close by if you need anything. We stayed here during a trip to swim with the manatees. The property was outstanding and exceeded our expectations! It’s bigger than it seems with many rooms, all nicely decorated and all with TVs. There’s even a game room with pong pong and home theater! It was all in perfect shape, and the art was very well chosen, we loved it! Right on the canal and so near Crystal River. Really nothing missing, just perfect, we give an A+! We want to go back here next time we visit the manatees.

Lovely home, excellent host, great location. Lots of little touches that made our visit special ~ board games, ping pong table, lots of towels, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen etc etc. Location is central to anything you want to do in the area I also liked the homeowners art work. Couldn’t ask for more. Lastly the host was great at communicating with us.

This house was clean, plenty of room to spread out, full of board games, a ping pong table, a movie projector, kayaks & paddle boards for use on the canal sets from the back door, and 4 TV sets. We only engaged in a fraction of all that due to time constraints. The full kitchen was well organized with everything a cook could want. We went on manatees and airboat excursions while there. These were minutes from the house. We plan on returning, as there is much more to see in Crystal River and enjoy in this house.

It was nice, but pool table wasnt there, but owner brought one next day. We couldnt use movie projector as electric was out on that side of house. Kayakung was fun. Bring your own ping pong paddles, only crap ones there.

Son was able to tie boat in the back to the floating dock which made it very easy getting out to scallop. Loved the outside deck, used the grill for burgers & dogs the very 1st night. The large projector TV was amazing since we brought a couple DVD's to play at night. Everything was even more wonderful than the pictures show! Can't wait to book again for the next scallopo season.

The property was lovely. Great view from either the back Florida room or the outside patio. The house was clean and accommodated my family nicely. It was wonderful having our boat right in the canal behind the house. We just jumped on and headed out for some adventure on the waters of Crystal River.

We decided to have a little get away! We loved the house and area. There was plenty of space for our big families. Scott recommend places to swim and hang out that definitely was a blast. The inside of the house is clean and well used. The outside is not good and is dirty. Cushions are old and full of mold. The sun cover is the same way. The brick walk way and dock ramp are in serious need of repair. The kayaks need work and several have sharp seat mounts and missing seats. All need cleaned. Overall inside except cookware is old but clean, pans are awful. The outside is awful!!!

We loved our Thanksgiving stay at this property! We watched a movie on the projector, played ping pong, walked in the nearby state park and most importantly, kayaked the canals and coves every day. We love this neighborhood and this property is a gem!

We absolutely had the best time at this location. It was very calm very peaceful. The house was very spacious. We enjoyed kayaking. We also brought our boat and went out daily. The canal is very nice. The ride out is very calm and peaceful as well. We will definitely be staying here again.

Nice neighborhood, good location. Close & convenient to restaurants and groceries. The outside of the property needs some attention. The lawn needed mowed & outdoor furniture needs replaced. The housekeeper did a good job, no complaints there. Futon desperately needs a new cushion….unable to be used as a spare bed. Overall, we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

I give the place 5 stars great location(a little too much no wake zone to getyothe gulf but dock behind the house makes up for that.) Kids loved the ping pong table. Watched the Gator game with family and friends in one of the living rooms. Plenty of parking. Only negative I can think of was the fitted sheet kept slipping off the bed in the master bed room just could not keepitonthe bed....

Perfect for our family of four teens, and my parents. Everything we needed was included- including all the kayaks and paddle boards. We had a great time paddling around the river, grilling, and relaxing on the dock. Owner was super responsive and helpful. Absolutely will stay again!
