Muito bom pequeno almoço. As refeições e a atenção no restaurante foram fantásticas. Muito confortável de forma geral. Recomendamos.
Apesar de ser um excelente hotel para descansar, considero que pelo valor pago deveria oferecer um jacuzzi (ou piscina aquecida) para os hospedes poderem relaxar. É algo que em outros hotéis com outra dimensão e de outro valor apresentavam. Posto isto, consideramos que isso afecta a relação qualidade -preço.

The staff here were extremely professional, polite and helpful. The hotel itself was lovely and modern, clean and rooms were fairly spacious (by Iceland standards) - the beds were VERY comfortable! There was free car parking on site which was very useful, and the inclusive breakfast was great. There were also several nice food venues within a stones throw of the hotel. All in all, a fantastic hotel for the price, and ideally situated for Katla Ice cave tours, visits to the black beach and more. Would definitely stay here again.

Notre vue sur la mer de notre grande chambre était incroyable
Le prix est très élevé mais la très belle chambre avec vue aurait pu faire oublier ce point. Sauf qu’une odeur très désagréable d’égouts est venue empester la chambre les deux jours en fin de journée. Même si le personnel , très gentil, était confus de la situation et nous a offert un voucher pour un verre au bar, au regard du prix élevé, cette situation est inacceptable.

Hotel muy bien ubicado en una ruta por el sur de Islandia. Es moderno, con habitaciones confortables y un restaurante estupendo. Totalmente recomendable.

Konumu Vik'in hemen merkezinde, bulması çok kolay bir yerde. Tertemiz mis gibi bir işletme. Check-in çok kolay ve hızlı oldu. Resepsiyondaki bayan arkadaş çok güler yüzlü ve kibardı . Otel müsait olduğu için odamızı upgrade etti. Diğer oda sanıyorum daha küçüktü , görmedik . Ama odamızı çok beğendik. Kapsül kahve makinesi mevcuttu . Tek üzüldüğüm nokta otele vardığımızda geç bir saatti, erken gidip daha fazla zaman geçirmeyi çok isterdim. Kahvaltısı da çok güzeldi,yeterince çeşit vardı. Sadece domuz yemeyenler için fazla et çeşidi yoktu. Ama çok memnun kaldık biz.
Belki bir ufak buzdolabı olabilirdi....Bir de TV kanallarından müşterilerin keyfi için daha çok müzik kanalları seçilebilir. Kışın odada epey zaman geçiriliyor da.

A very nice location in the middle of Vik (a small town itself); the lobby area was very pretty. We had an issue with our room and the staff was wonderful to find a resolution via an upgrade. I appreciated their willingness to find a solution and make our stay comfortable. A stone's throw to restaurants, shopping and the Black Sands beaches.
For awareness, we booked a family suite as we were traveling with teenagers and wanted them to have their own space/TV for evenings (in winter most of the town shuts down early); the family rooms advertise a TV downstairs and upstairs, but they told us they no longer have TVs upstairs (I would confirm with the hotel).

The breakfast was good. The family room was really spacious with 2 floors. The room was very clean with comfortable beds. The loccitane toiletries were amazing.
Would have been good if there was a refrigerator in the room.

Mala relación precio/calidad. Dentro del hotel es posible ver un diferencia económica entre habitaciones y sectores del hotel.
La fotografía del hotel desde el exterior no representa la realidad. Frente al hotel se encuentran construidos unos departamentos y luego una serie de locales comerciales, lo que impide tener una vista hacia la playa.
La habitación que se me asigno tenia vista hacia el acceso del hotel.

This hotel is perfect for a short stay on the way to or from the glacier regions in the south east. Vik is a small town and Hotel Vik I Mýrdal is certainly a gem.
The site is very clean and comfortable, with a cozy fireplace near the lobby and a great restaurant on site with breakfast available in the mornings if you’d like. There is a small gym as well. There is also a wonderful local town pool just a few minutes from the property.
Parking is limited and during busy dinner hours the parking lot just outside the hotel is likely filled (first come first serve for patrons/guests). You will need to park across the street. Additionally. The rooms are quite small with the loft options being the most cramped, however this is not a make or break.

Friendly staff and the food
The piano wasn’t in the main hallway as it was the previous year. It was a wonderful addition to reception! No complaints here though, brilliant stay.

Breakfast was very good, European/Intrnational with local flavours, like fishliverdrink. Supper was very good, : Great fish and no nonsense. Best restaurant on our journey. Helpful staff also at reception. The family room was pleasant. We arrived with a lot of wet clothes and were allowed to dry it in the hotel's heating room.
We informed the reception that some AC sockets in our room had been made useless by earlier guests.

Vik is lovely and we could watch the rugby in our room. Room was nice and cosy.

This was an excellent hotel in a small town, we received excellent service from the staff especially when the weather was very bad and we had to stay an extra night. Information and updates were regularly provided and we were made to feel comfortable and welcome.

It’s way-way overpriced, falling short of my expectations of what an almost 300€ room should be like. I can understand that this is based on offer/request ratio in a place limited in available accommodation probably and Iceland is not cheap anyway, but again it was disappointing.

Rooms were small. Walls were thin. There were no amenities like sauna or hot-tub.

The breakfast was very good in comperison with other Iceland’ hotels. Nice and helpful staff, quick check in, good communication. Testy food in the restaurant.
The smell in one of our group room was horrible (217). The windows of our rooms looking not to the city, not to the nature, but…through other hotel’ window rooms. Strange…
One week before I stayed with other group at a nearby location. We eat there the same dish: artic char filet. Totaly different: at Hotel Vik the portions were small and were served cold, at the other hotel, the portions were generous, hot, and…cheaper.

Tipico hotel, camere molte belle, pulite e curate. La colazione è davvero abbondante e completa di tutto , ci ha saziato fino a cena. L’ambiente è molto elegante e silenzioso. Rilassante e rinfrancante dopo una lunga giornata di avventure !
La scelta di alloggi in questa zona è limitata pertanto i prezzi ne risentono, questo è stato di gran lunga l’alloggio più caro dei 10 giorni trascorsi in Islanda. Il costo dei pasti all’interno dell’hotel è inavvicinabile ma a poca distanza ci sono vari locali carini più economici. Mi sarei aspettata una vista migliore, ma purtroppo il panorama sul mare è coperto da tanti edifici posti di fronte.

We had a room with a view that was so good, they left us a pair of binoculars to use! Breakfast bar was extensive. The smoked salmon and bacon were memorably delicious.
