Located in Geelong, this lovely cottage for $253 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Lawson's Cottage is a luxurious, self contained cottage, located in the heart of Geelong with a 4 1/2 star rating. With every stay, we provide you with full breakfast provisions including bacon, eggs, yoghurt, seasonal fruit, cereal and much more. With easy access to Eastern Beach and only minutes from the CBD, South Geelong train station, the Barwon River, Landy Field and Simmonds Stadium, home to the Geelong Cats AFL team, Lawson's Cottage is the perfect location to stay while visiting Geelong. Our self contained home has 2 well appointed bedrooms with luxurious cotton sheets, electric blankets (for those cold winter nights) with the Master room having its own television. The Master room has a Queen size bed with a Double and Single bed in the Second bedroom. We can provide on request a port-a-cot if required. (Bedding is supplied for the extra beds) Modern Features Renovated in 1920's style with all the benefits of modern day living. Our fully equipped kitchen includes a gas cooktop, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave oven. Quality utensils and crockery are included - perfect for home entertaining. Alongside the kitchen is our European laundry with Miele washer and dryer. Step back in time with our deep clawfoot bath, great for relaxing. Our dual shower has two separate heads, ideal for sharing. BUT the best thing about our bathroom is the under floor heating, no cold feet in winter. Relax in the evening with a glass of port and chocolates (provided for you) in front of our Gas Fire place. On the wall we have a 37 inch Digital TV - enjoy a movie from our extensive DVD collection. TV not for you... please make use of our swap library. Bring a book from home and swap with one from our collection. Finish what you started while on holidays with us at Lawson's Cottage. Summer Living Lawson's Cottage has a charming outdoor deck and entertainment area that is beautifully landscaped. Enjoy an afternoon wine, while your steak is grilling on the BBQ in complete privacy. The smell of a fresh baked lemon cake as you walked in was delightful, very cozy cottage fell with everything you need from robs,comfortable beds, heater warmed house well, dvds,books lots of local pamphlets everything youll need in the kitchen fresh eggs,bacon,fruit,milk,bread bbq,washer dryer, washing powder, a beautiful big realxing bath,big double headed shower, heated tiles in bathroom lovely neat well kept backyard. My husband two young adult children and myself had a fabulous time staying at the cottage. 10/10 well.done and loved looking at all the vintage things around the house and your photo album of you renovating the property

The place is amazing. It is handy if you want to see the geelong cats play, just around the corner is the train station. Also not far from the water front.
The owner is easy and fast to get into contact with and nothing was a.problem. love staying here and would go there again

Ages 66 71 and 88 perfect easy access for father inlaw from back door .great bathroom , single bed not to high for him, close to the loo .. perfect love all the extra little unexpected touches , THANKS !!!

House is as advertised. Great central location, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast and other provisions a lovely and welcome touch. Great to have access to Netflix. We would stay again.

Beautifully and tastefully renovated and decorated, this property is outstanding. The hosts have not spared anything in their desire to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. It is within walking distance of the CBD and in close proximity to coffee shops. Highly recommended. You will feel warmly welcomed and at home in this beautiful cottage.

Beautifully presented, very comfortable with literally everything you need - we didn't even have to go the supermarket. Gorgeous garden, loved having our coffee in the morning sunshine. Agree with everything the other five star reviews mention.

Lovely, comfortable 1920s-style cottage
This renovated house was comfortable, warm and welcoming, with a lovely 1920s style. It was perfect for our short family get-away and a great place to base ourselves while we explored Geelong and the region. It was within a short drive of Geelong's Eastern Beach for an afternoon swim. The host was helpful and we appreciated the delicious supplies for breakfast and treats.

Amazing Era Cottage
This cottage is really well kept, super cosy and very comfortable. We loved our stay and wished we were able to stay longer. The cottage is equipped with all you need to have dinner or a BBQ in (we did) and a Nespresso machine to kickstart the mornings. The outdoor area around the back is very well kept, very pretty and a really well thought out space. Our host was externally hospitable, kind and a pleasure to deal with. If we are looking for somewhere to stay in Geelong again, we will certainly book here again.

Fabulous Stay
While close to the train station, the sound from the trains could barely be heard. The home is beautifully refinished and the amenities were endless; fresh made cookies, a stocked refrigerator, heated floor in the bathroom, heated blankets, barbecue on the back deck. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property!

Absolutely charming cottage
We loved this cottage. So well appointed with everything we needed. Beautiful and clean. Comfortable beds and fluffy towels. Plenty for breakfast from bread, eggs, bacon, tomatoes, yoghurt, fruit milk and juice all in the fridge ready for us. Everyone loved the yummy homemade cookies too. We had perfect weather to enjoy the outdoor space as well. Although my favourite was how much history, character and charm oozed from this home. Will certainly be back 😊�

The cottage is beautifully clean with all the modern facilities you need provided. A very generous supply of breakfast provisions included as well as quality coffee and a lovely touch of biscuits to enjoy with a cuppa.
We were lucky to enjoy being able to sit on the deck to enjoy both the morning sun and evening cool.
Parking off street also much appreciated. Local coffee spot (UNtitled) around the corner, and a Saturday farmers market at the primary school all really make for a nice ‘hood.
The convenience of the railway station so close also means the noise from trains is close, esp from the level crossing. Not terrible but just be aware for light sleepers to keep the windows closed.

A lovely place to stay in Geelong
We were in the area to attend the Avalon airshow, and we picked this lovely cottage to stay in because it looked cosy and welcoming, we were not disappointed. The amenities were perfect, everything was lovely quality (beds, bedding and towels) it was well stocked with breakfast provisions again of great quality. We are now looking at coming back to stay and seeing more of what Geelong has to offer

Stayed here for a short family getaway and was very impressed. The cottage is beautiful inside and out, has all the comforts of home with breakfast provisions provided.
The location is also great being close to all the main sights, highly recommend staying here.

The place was spotless, has terrific ambience - a mixture of old and new - with great attention to detail. Breakfast and snack supplies, good quality bedding and gowns, spare umbrellas, DVDs for old and young, games, books, lovely old china and modern table settings, a BBQ, outdoor setting, full laundry with spare laundry powder, a heated floor in the bathroom. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of staying and very close to the train station if travelling by public transport. A real find!

What a beautiful cottage!
You will want for nothing when you stay at this wonderful home. A gourmet breakfast is supplied with a special little treat of home made cookies for your relaxing cup of coffee! The house is immaculate, the garden beautiful, a vast array of DVD's to watch and wonderfully comfortable beds. My husband, myself and two of our four children had the time of our lives and will be back at any chance, Brilliant!!
