About this condo rental
Nestled in Estero Island, this charming condo for $420 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Excellent 3 bedroom / 2 bath unit at Santa Maria Resort! One of the best pool and hot tub areas on the island! Walk to everything - the beach is across the street. Unit is set up with a KING in the Master bedroom (with master bath) and a KING in bedroom 2 with the second bath right next to it. The 3rd bedroom has bunk beds and a queen pullout. Note: 3rd bedroom is very tight when the queen pullout is used - but functional and great for kids. Sofa and love seat in Living area and very nice Lanai with chairs and table. Kitchen is fully equipped and has a dishwasher, glass top stove, microwave and Washer/Dryer in small room just off kitchen area. Beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and beach toys / accessories are included and the cleaning service provides fresh towels and linens for your stay. In addition to the fantastic pool and hot tub area - the resort has a manatee viewing area and grilling areas and a commercial ice machine on the ground level. Parking is included with your stay - but you really won't need it once you get here! NOTE: Our resort is fully open. Publix is open. 10-12 Bars and Restaurants are back open. Wahoo Willies, Fresh Catch, Lighthouse Tiki Bar, Snug Harbor & Matanzas on the Bay! Beach Bar has live music almost every day 1pm-5pm. Local shrimp at Erickson and Jensen's. And the fishing is great! Great location. Great condo - clean and close to everything. It comfortably fits 7 people- 4 adults and 3 kids. Has everything you need including beach chairs and sand toys. Heated pool is amazing! The property is across the street from the beach. The stores and restaurants on the nearby plaza are under construction, but some restaurants are open on the time square- the other side of the beach. CVS is a short walk from the condo and is open already. We had a great time and would love to come back again.

We really enjoyed the unit. Very easily walkable to beach. One section of the nearby beach was full of seashells! My kids had a great time searching for shells.
Unit is a nice layout and parking was very easy. Elevator also was a nice feature.

The condo was very clean and had beautiful views of the marina to see the manatees and even dolphins. The pool was top notch and the staff and condo owners were nothing but nice! Short walk to the beach where everything we needed was already in our condo!

The property was great - pool was lovely and walking distance to the beach was fantastic. Property was nicely stocked with beach items, too.
Lots of hurricane damage nearby but the beach was perfect and we found nearby places to eat and shop for souvenirs. Thanks!

The property was really nice. My only warning to all is that Fort Myers Beach is still quite devastated from Hurricane Ian. We were shocked. Very, very few businesses of any kind are open on the island, very few people are around. The nearby beach, however is open and we found dozens and dozens of large WHOLE sand dollars and starfish. Beaches and skies were beautiful, great property.

We enjoyed staying at Santa Maria. We were in walking distance t to restaurants, shopping and the beach. The pool was excellent and relaxing. We met and made new friends at the pool. A great time had by all.

This place was in walking distance of several restaurants and the beach. It was quite and clean neighborhood. Check in was the easiest I have ever had. Had a small problem with the AC for about 4 hours but the host was very helpful and got us working again. Host contacted back every time I contacted him very quickly. The kids loved all the boats and was able to see fish from the dock. There was a grill down stairs that we used and was very clean. The pool and hot tub was so refreshing. Tons of towels. Just recommend some beach towels but lots of beach equipment we could use. Full equipped kitchen. Each room had there own TV.

At some point prior to our arrival something of glass got broke because 4 out of 6 people got glass shards in their foot, we did actually vacuum after first time but I think it was just coming from the carpet.
Personally I would stay in the location again just not this unit until I saw improvements.

A Week of Relaxation

I have so much to say about this property. All absolutely amazing things to say!! I have saved this to stay here again! There were beach chairs, sand toys, we did add to them. There were a couple of coolers to use. This was the very best location. A short walk to CVS. Lovers Key was a 5 min drive. Fort Myers beach and shops were only 10 min away. The bed we slept in was absolutely perfect. That was the room that lead to the balcony. Which was enclosed!! We played games out there in the evening and enjoyed the peace. The building was quiet. Check in was so easy. The instructions were very clear. The only and I mean only down side and this is not on the unit itself. Is that the pool and hot tub closed so early. We only had a chance to use it in the morning. After a very long day out at 8pm it was already closed. But aside from that. This was so perfect! Thank you

Easy check in/out process, very clean and spacious, close to the beach and other activities. Very nice pool and hot tub. Shopping cart was super helpful for the groceries we got to carry in. No bugs and very equipped with what we needed. Beach chairs, toys, towels all provided. We also left some things for others like sifter for when we went shark tooth hunting. We were very pleased with this experience and highly recommend! Looks way nicer then the pictures show esp all the space we had.

Temporary Issues include: Street Access was tricky due to Road and Underground Piping construction which was right in front of the property). Also, perhaps due to the construction....we had a BOIL Water order for a couple days (It was lifted on our third day). Lastly, we had the folks come out to test and inspect the Fire Alarm System, too!
For the Plus side...
A/C worked well...nice outdoor lanai to sit around (seats 5 comfortably - 6 a bit tight)...6 Adults existed comfortably in this condo...The Condo units/area are well maintined.... Nice Pool area...Beach access was a 5-10 min walk.
For the Con side....
Galley Kitchen was pretty tight (as in one person at a time). Bunk beds were on the small side for a 6' adult to sleep in
Electrical outlets were "loose".....so plugs wouldn't stay in all the time.

Our experience at this property was poor. The front door did not open correctly and close correctly. It needs to be replaced honestly, the hall bathroom shower water never got hot, always stayed cold. Never had cable in one of the bedrooms, the blinds is very hard to lift up and down, the bathroom shower door fell off and needs a new wheel on it. We seen a coach roach on one off our visits. I honestly really don’t know if I will ever return to the property for future stays. It just was not one of our best vacation staying at this property.
