Meredith Lodging has added the extra measure of a pre-check-in inspection to make sure all of our cleaning and disinfecting procedures are complete and to our standard before you arrive. Once it passes inspection, your home sits empty until you arrive for your contact-free check-in. Additionally, if your home features a private hot tub, rest assured it is disinfected, treated and cleaned thoroughly after each departure so that you and your guests can enjoy it with peace of mind during your stay.

We enjoyed relaxing at the house between fun day adventures to the beach and aquarium and such. The house was a comfortable home base. Owner quick to respond to our only problem.

This was a great place to be for a quick walk to town and whale watching, hiking, and drives north on the coast.

We really liked this rental but it’s right on Hwy 101 so if you’re sound sensitive, you might have an issue. As noted in other reviews, the downstairs has a completely separate entrance so it’s not as convenient as a downstairs you would get to from inside the house. The weather was cold and rainy for us so we never even went down there.
House was clean and updated and full of light - tons of windows!! The primary bedroom was large and the bed was really comfortable. Second bedroom was small but comfy. There were lots of clocks around but none had batteries so that seemed like something they could easily fix. We also didn’t have instructions on finding the hot tub key but a quick search located it in a living room drawer. The back door leading to the deck/hot tub is a tight space and wasn’t ideal for drying off when it’s cold and rainy outside, but we made it work.
Overall it’s a cute little spot and there most definitely wasn’t anything that would make us not want to stay here again.

Kitchen faucet kept coming off, needs battery alarm kept going off but alarm was locked in basement so couldn’t be replaced, bedroom light didn’t work, dishwasher needed to be repaired. On positive note property manager sent out repairman who fixed everything except alarm so it kept beeping every 5 minutes. Fortunately you couldn’t hear it from upstairs bedroom.

Very good access to Depot Bay businesses and central to other mid-coast destinations. Good place for a trip that includes a dog. Comfortable for a family that includes older teens/young adults because of separate space upstairs.

Disappointment
Amazing locations, but unfortunately the house disappointed us. Carpets were disgusting, outlets didn’t work, beds were so uncomfortable, dishes were all dirty, the deck was covered in moss and dirt, we had homeless people digging in our trash can, and people constantly in our yard walking their dogs or hanging out from out side the motel. Would not stay again.

Cozy home with views of Depoe Bay and walking distance to shops and beach. We really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub while watching waves crash on the rocks of the bay. The only weird thing is lack of privacy in the upstairs bathroom. There is a folding wall but it is screwed into the wall, so my only suggestion would be to provide privacy for that toilet. Other than that, the home was beautiful, cozy, clean and perfectly accommodating for a group of friends to PSE d the weekend together.

Cozy home with views of Depoe Bay and walking distance to shops and beach. We really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub while watching waves crash on the rocks of the bay. The only weird thing is lack of privacy in the upstairs bathroom. There is a folding wall but it is screwed into the wall, so my only suggestion would be to provide privacy for that toilet. Other than that, the home was beautiful, cozy, clean and perfectly accommodating for a group of friends to PSE d the weekend together.

Our stay started a little rocky, but it was a nice relaxing stay nonetheless. We got there promptly at 4p.m for check-in which was supposed to be contactless, but the maid was still there cleaning. After she left, we were able to get our suitcase inside and relax. The beds were comfortable enough, but need more pillows! The TV also wouldn't work at first, my husband had to plug in most of the cables himself before we could watch anything. I also feel that if you are going to advertise that you have satellite cable it should have more than 15 channels. Maybe a program guide, too so we know there aren't any channels! Lol all in all, I would say we enjoyed our stay! The house is nice and inviting and the hot tub on the patio can't be beat! I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends looking for a quiet getaway.

I went here with my best friend/ sister for a girls weekend. I did like the location because we were close to the whale watching center where we booked out charter boat (it was nice to be able to drive home in 3 minutes to change our wet clothes) also we could do some window showing at nice stores. Also we needed a late night trip to wal-mart because we didn’t have a fan to sleep with, and it was nice that it was just a 15 minute drive south. Also being able to go to the casino for dinner and it was just a 20 minute drive north: I like how close everything was in this tiny town. Never stayed in depoe bay before, and every much enjoyed it.
I was very surprised my first night at how limited amount of towels were provided for the guest, so I washed a load of towels before going to bed (hot tub and shower for 3 adults, only found 5 towels) but when I switched over the laundry, I did see the dryer was full of towels, so that was nice but unexpected.
The house had bare minimum for the guest. I wish there was a kettle for tea, nicer soft blankets, and more cooking supplies. But we did eat out most of the time, just needed measuring cups and spoons for some things we brought and they didn’t have that available where I could find. And like whisk or spatula.
The hot tub was turned down when we first got in, it was nice and better the second dip because we turned it up and let it warm up over night.
I did like how well the heaters worked and the shower accessories. Beds were ok and we slept good.
All in all in was a good stay, I have been to other air b&b that had above and beyond for there guest, so I try not to compare and complain. It was a nice stay all around.

Comfortable House, great view.
The house worked well for my friends and I for our quick beach trip. The house was clean, and tidy. The only downfall is there seems to be not heat vents in the up stairs so our guest that we’re sleeping up their were very cold every evening. Overall we all enjoyed our weekend, we enjoyed dinner at Tidal Raves directly across the street and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place for dinner.

Great location in proximity to the heart of Depoe Bay. We saw a whale a 1/4 mile from the house!
Clean, open space. Good for families or friends with kids who like to have a slumber party experience on a separate level from the adults.

Perfect place for a quiet weekend getaway. Easy walk to sea wall to watch waves, lots of little shops, hot tub on deck and lots of extra blankets and towels. They had the basic kitchen supplies and a few games. My only recommendation is to add a few more games or books for guests, otherwise it was great.

Oven unusable since August. This information was not passed to me. Also BBQ was out of gas but the property mgmt did have a tank delivered. A number of light sockets did not work and should be repaired. Many carpet stains. Location nice and we enjoyed good weather during our stay.

All in all it was very nice, although the oven didn’t work and no one came to fix it even after I called about it (this seemed to be a theme in the guest book). Also, some extra pillows would be nice and a blu ray library, as you have a player there.

We had a great Time at this property and it was very clean when we arrived check-in was easy. There was a neighborhood dog that barked every morning without fail. It was a little inconvenience that there was no extra toilet paper Or napkins anywhere in the house. And it was a little awkward not to be able to find a can opener either. But had a great time and enjoyed the property.

Nice little house but much too close to neighbors and the view of the ocean is almost fully blocked.

Peaceful
We enjoyed our stay at Splash of Glory. It's a cute home that suited our needs. The description of beach close by is inaccurate. It's a rocky view point. Which was still gorgeous, but not able to walk on the sand. The trees are much larger than in the picture, so the "ocean view" is barely there. However, we were still able to see an AMAZING SUNSET every night. The propane tank was empty, our dinner depended on the Bbq, when I called they were unable to send someone to fill it, so I sent my husband, then they called and said a full one would delivered but unsure when. My husband already left, so we are out $20 for filling property's propane tank.
