LA CAMA ESTABA MUY COMODA, EL AIRE ACONDICIONADO A PESAR QUE ESTUVIERON CALUROSOS LOS DIAS SI DABA ABASTO, LOS ENCARGADOS DEL HOTEL SON TODOS FAMILIA Y SIEMPRE ESTUVIERON MUY ATENTOS Y SERVICIALES, ESTABA PADRE QUE TENGA RESTAURANTE INCLUIDO, TAMBIEN TE REGALAN CORTESIA TODOS LOS DIAS DE CAFE POR LAS MAÑANAS, MUY CENTRICO, QUE TUVIERA UN PEQUEÑO BALCON ERA UN PLUS.
EN SI EL HOTEL SE ME HIZO MUY BUENO, PERO COMPARANDO LOS HOTELES QUE HAY EN SAN BLAS EN GENERAL, SON UN POCO MAS COSTOSOS, INCLUSO QUE CIUDADES GRANDES COMO CANCUN, GUADALAJARA, ETC. NOSE SI PORQUE SON POCOS EL PRECIO ANDA ASI.

I loved everything about the guesthouse. It is not only beautiful but everything I like about Mexico. It is a peaceful oasis and the owners make you feel very welcomed. The restaurant serves great food as well. I look forward to returning very soon.
I hated that I had to leave. Other than that, there is nothing to dislike.

The staff, which is the family that runs the hotel (hence the name La Familia) is absolutely wonderful. Samantha, a lovely young lady, her mom, dad and brother made sure that our stay felt like we were at home. I can't say enough good things about them. I will be returning for sure. The hotel is located within a short walking distance to beach, pier, town center, shops and food. Although the food is very delicious at La Familia's own restaurant. The breakfast in particular was fantastic, along with their mariscos. Just eat there! hahaha! The famed La Tobara is a mere fifteen minutes via taxi, from La Tobara, the "new" pier or as locals call it "el malecon" is another five to ten minutes. Plan both these attractions together. The rooms are very roomy and very, very clean. Their choice in bedding felt very luxurious and comfy. Which is a good thing, because the air conditioning gets the room cold very quickly. We were just there and it was very hot. One of the many things I particularly enjoyed about La Familia were the cozy common areas, where one evening we had a very nice conversation with Samantha and her lovely mother. The next morning by the dining area i was joined by Sam's dad and shared another nice conversation. The hotel, which used to be a house, has lots of history to it. They will pick your brain to find new ways to improve their hotel, which is already great. Sam's brother is mindful to the quality coming out of the restaurant and is eager to make sure your enjoying your meal. They also provide a nice "coffee Break" from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. which consists of a flavorful, local and organic coffee, diced fruit, toast and jam. It's a nice way to get something in your belly before heading to the beach or La Tobara to swim with the crocodiles.
There's a lot of little motorbikes throughout San Blas and they are very noisy. When your eating at La Familia's wonderful restaurant it's quite noisy, but that's a part of this town's charm. The hotel uses quality windows in their rooms so you can't hear anything once your hanging out in them.

The Booking.com page says no breakfast, but they provide toast, fruit and coffee.
We had to move rooms because the shower was poor. There is limited wifi in the rooms.
