Relaxing beach week. Something for everyone. Scuba diving for grandpa, reading for grandma , snorkeling for mom and dad and sand castles for grand kids. Homemade pizza and crepes and French toast. Hot tub and swimming in the pool rounded out the week. So many things to do and see and a wonderful comfortable place to stay.

So quiet, so peaceful and literally 10 steps from the sand. You can snorkel right off the beach, you have access to all the Wyndham amenities and it is easy to drive the island if you want to check out the hot spots. The unit has the basics and is comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

We were pleasantly surprised as this condo is more spacious and beautiful than represented in the pictures. There is nothing better than stepping outside right onto the sand. Communication was great throughout the reservation and stay. Only a couple of small issues: TV is almost impossible to use - would greatly help if there were a set of written instructions on how to use it. And the pots to cook in have all of their coating coming off and they're very sticky - just threw our pasta out rather than cook in them. Everything else was wonderful and we'd definitely return!

You will not be disappointed! We have stayed in several condos on the property and this one is by far the best. We were right next to the basketball courts so we enjoyed both pickle ball and basketball. Also, the tiki bar is steps away so we could enjoy the music from our back deck. The pier is close by also. The unit is very spacious and so easy to access. We will definitely be booking again.

The condo is exactly as pictured. It was clean, updated and perfection for our family of four (with two young kids). The beds were comfy and all bed linens were fully cleaned as well (not like a quilt that gets re-used). The property manager was there when we arrived and was wonderful. She explained everything to us and answered any questions we had. Everyone at the Wyndham (adjoining resort) and bar/restaurants were beyond accommodating. The security/grounds patrol was so nice and helpful. He always stopped and talked with our kids or showed them funny/interesting things. All around, an excellent time. The beach toys and pool noodles inside the condo were definitely a bonus and saved us from having to buy those items. We loved the location and took advantage of many of John’s suggestions (found in a book in the condo). The pools were all clean and perfect for our family. The kids loved the kiddie pool as well as the larger pools. The pier was also great for pictures at sunset and for watching the fish get fed. There is an excursion place on site but we also found the resort next store had one too, and offered additional excursions so we had the best of both worlds - being able to pick what we wanted to do. We can’t wait to return and are ready planning our next vacation back, and plan on staying at John’s place again.

Proximity to beach unbeatable, totally dedicated to unwinding, low tourist population, truly a hidden gem. Great place for families with smaller children or those looking for down time.

The property could not be more perfect. Chloe is very attentive and helpful. I love the property. Steps from the beautiful ocean. John, if a big rooster is at your bedroom door , He likes grapes. The grapes accidentally would fall off the table every morning and evenings. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Easy location to explore from and glad we had a car do do things throughout the island. Things are handy from the condo across the street there are groceries and restaurant and beach bar and restaurant is on the other side of the tennis court. Views from the porch and beach are spectacular. The condo was clean; ready earlier than expected; checkin was a breeze; and there is plenty of space. We had a great time.

Location says it all! Slide the slider and you’re on the beach!!!! John’s unit was immaculate! Washer and dryer a plus, with a two week stay . Met with Chloe, property manager, upon arrival. Easy check in with unit instructions. She was out the door and our two week stay started. The unit is within yards to tennis court, beach bar, The Reef restaurant, spa and pool. Plenty of things to do or not to do!!! Lounge chairs right in front of unit. We had such a great stay with our friends. I would highly recommend a stay in John’s unit. We are looking forward to a stay next February. Could not have asked for better accommodations. Kricket

We loved our stay at John’s place! Communication was always timely and John any questions we had. The place was very clean and had all the basics we needed. It is part of the Wyndham Reef resort, so there are some restaurants on property and the Italian place across the street is wonderful. We enjoyed being on the East End and visiting the busier side of island, but then coming home to relax. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We had another wonderful week in paradise. Accommodations are modern, clean and the location is absolutely beautiful. Will definitely return next year!

This is the place to stay in Grand Cayman! This side of the island has enough that you would never have to leave if you choose. We only went to the other side one day! Plenty to see and do. The botanical garden is close, grocery across the road, and the beautiful ocean right outside your door.

My wife, daughter and daughter-in-law spent a week at John's place. John was very responsive in getting things set up and a pleasure to deal with. Everything was as advertised--which was a good thing. Checking in was a breeze (picked up key and info next door at the Wyndham), the condo was in great shape, the beach was about 8 steps from the sliding glass doors and the Caribbean about 15-20 steps from there. The unit is on the corner of the building next to the tennis court which means it's also in close proximity to the outdoor bar and the booth for scheduling outdoor activities and obtaining rentals--e.g., snorkeling equipment, paddle boards, jet skis, etc. Shopping for groceries and such is right across the street. The only down side was the wind--John couldn't do much about that. I learned that the prevailing winds are in your face here (N - NE) and though ordinarily moderate the wind was howling during the first few days of our stay (30+ mph) to the point where there was considerable wave action inside the reef and the water was stirred up closer to shore. It also wasn't particularly conducive to certain water sports for the faint of stomach. Of course, it did make for comfortable sun bathing or so I'm told. However, the weather gave us an excuse to see more of the island than we otherwise would have. Given the location, having a rental car was a must and it wasn't much of a drive to find things to do and places to see and calmer waters. We look forward to returning and, until we do, wish the best to all of those who made our visit so enjoyable particularly in light of the impact that the current circumstances may have on this delightful island the delightful people who call it home.

We stayed here for a birthday long weekend and it was absolutely great. The place was clean and actually nicer in person than even the photos showed - very light and bright feeling with views directly out on to the beach and ocean (literally about 10 steps from our back patio door). We will definitely be staying here again when we do long weekends away. Highly recommend it. John the owner was great with communication and explained everything we could need to know before time. Check in was very smooth and when we couldn't figure out how to work something with one of the showers, Wendy the property manager was there in less than two minutes to show us how to use it. Great place all round.

My husband and I and 4 college aged kids enjoyed the relaxing East End. We were close enough to go to all the main attractions of Grand Cayman, but away from the crowds of seven mile beach. Johns condo was a perfect fit for us and we would go back to his place again. There were very high winds while we were there and that made swimming at the condo pretty much restricted to the pools. We did rent a car so we went to Rum point, Spotts beach and Smiths cove for swimming. We also went for a few Dives with Ocean Frontiers, which was fantastic as John had recommended. I would highly recommend water shoes, as there are rocky areas and lots of sea grass. The few days we were there that it wasn’t windy we were in the ocean just steps from our door!

This is one of the best units I have stayed in! The beach is literally 10 steps away from the patio, the sunrises are magnificent and the unit was perfect! Very clean! Beds are very comfortable! Having a Washer/Dryer meant we could pack light! The Restaurant was awesome! Grocery and liquor store across the street! Wendy, the property manager was great! Making the reservation online was convenient and John the owner was awesome, especially with the questions I had before we made the reservation! Seven Mile Beach is way to crowded so if you are looking for a beautiful and tranquil vacation, this is the SPOT! WE WILL BE BACK!

I almost hate to write this review, since as much as we love this place we would like to keep to ourselves. The room is perfect location to beach and pools and rentals for any water sports. The room is well kept and up to date and with 2 stays in the past 2 years we have never had any problems. We will be back!!

We had a wonderful stay. Condo was as described. Very nice to walk directly out into the beach and the pools were great. We found the beach too rocky to swim but went to other areas that we enjoyed. Be sure to go to Tuka and the Taco Cantina, both great. Had a problem with the air conditioning first 24 hours, Wendy and John were very responsive! Thanks for our stay!

You couldn’t ask for a better set up. 20 steps from the lower level corner condo deck is your feet in the sand. Pool is just 25 yards from the deck with lounge chairs. There are also lounge chairs directly in front of your door under a palm tree.

Thanks John and Wendy for sharing this lovely place with our family. We enjoyed the condo’s location and proximity to the beach., could not ask to be any closer. The condo was very clean and comfortable, loved the first floor location. We will be back!!

This is our third year at Wyndham, 1st time renting a private unit. The unit was exactly as pictured. Wendy is Super! She is helpful, and very attentive and the lady that came to clean the day we left was super friendly also , we had an amazing time as always. Cant Thank you John and family, enough for sharing your vacation home with us!

Amenities in the kitchen were nice. Beds were comfortable. Loved being able to sit on the patio and enjoy the beautiful water. We were able to snorkel off the beach most days. It was nice to have a couple of restaurants close by. The drive to Rum Point and other places on the island was very easy.

Great location on island and at resort. Owners where easy to work with and the manager Wendy and her husband where quick to respond to questions. East end was definitely quieter then the 7 mile area. We did have significant seaweed but the staff at the resort did a good job of staying ahead of it. You need a car on this side of the island but it was worth it, we went to several different restaurants and beaches during our weeks stay. The beach, pool and whirlpool where nice. Would return to this location.

This condo has a great beachfront location associated with an excellent resort (Wyndham Reef). The property managers, Wendy and Steve, are fantastic and very helpful. Great little area with a mini mart, shop and great Italian food restaurant across the street. The condo itself was very nice inside with good beds, fully functional kitchen and washer/dryer. The condo is exactly as advertised. It is well maintained, clean and well appointed. It is just steps from the ocean. The beach is clean. Never a concern getting a beach chair. Plenty of beach activities. The manager, Wendy Foster, is excellent. She is very quick to respond to any questions and is always available. I plan on returning in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at John’s place on the East End of Grand Cayman. The condo was directly on the beach and we were able to watch the sunrise right out of our door. The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay (coffee maker, pots/pans/ silverware, etc.). The property manager was very responsive and helpful and even found someone to get conch for us to make ceviche! I highly recommend this place if you want to get away from the crowds at seven mile beach to enjoy what seems like your own private beach, a beautiful pool, and snorkeling.

We are a family of 5 with 3 children and firstly the view of being on the beach was paradise and the sound of the waves. The snorkeling from the pier is one of the best with big fish and the vibe by the bar restaurant on the beach as night was wonderful..... loved Tukka restaurant... 10 out of 10 ... need a car .
