About this condo rental
In one of the most luxurious compounds on the Cote d'Azur, this elegantly furnished 1100 ft² / 100sqm duplex apartment with 3 bedrooms, boasts 2 terraces with great sea onto the bay of Cannes, the Lerins islands and the Mediterranean and is a great place to disconnect and relax, away from the crowds of the Riviera. This apartment is set in 60 acres of lush gardens with 2 pools (plain and sea water) and all you might want for a great holiday with friends and family (tennis, ping pongs, playgrounds, sauna, fitness room, "petanque" area, basket ball court) and kids activities in the high season. It is very secure (fenced and guarded), with life guards on one of the 2 the rocky beaches and at one pool in the high season. The apartment has everything you need for a restful and relaxing holiday. It is on 2 levels, with a terrace on each. On the lower level there is a large living-room with a fireplace, and a fully equipped open kitchen and dining area, and a terrace with sun loungers, table and chairs for meals for 6 people. It also has bedroom that can be either double a single, a separate guest toilet with washbasin. The 2 main and larger bedrooms are on the higher level. Both rooms are about 16m2 and both have a fabulous sea-view and a shared terrace, with a sun-lounger and table and chairs for 2 to 4 people. One bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a large bath tub and shower and double sink and toilet. The other bedroom has a shower room with toilet and single sink. There is also a small laundry room equipped with a large capacity washer and dryer, iron and board, etc. The apartment has its own Wifi internet access, a large TV, and DVD and blu-ray player. There is air-conditioning in both of the main bedrooms and a ceiling fan in the lower bedroom which is cooler. 2 more fans are provided, as well as hairdryers. The apartment has got a good heating system for winter rentals (electric radiators and reversible air conditioning units), as well as an open fireplace in the sitting room. Close to both the mountains and the sea, Port-La-Galère offers a wide range of activities: - in the 'Winter club' area: heated pool (from mid April onwards approx, 18 metres long), sauna, fitness room, bar, and excellent restaurant. You can book massages in the high season. - by the 'Summer club', and its large sea water pool and the paddling pool and play area, you can enjoy sun loungers, the pool bar and restaurant, water games, and a little market where you can order bread, croissants and international newspapers (in high season). Free gym and acquagym lessons every morning in July and August. Happy hour twice a week, by the pool with DJs or performers. - you can enjoy the 2 rocky beaches (with showers) and floating platform (in the summer). - 2 tennis courts, and children will also like the basket ball pitch, playground, ping pong tables, 'pétanque' area, and the older children can go to the domain disco (July and August) and the teesns' outdoor area with pingpong tables, bean bags and PS4 station with large screen. - there is also a fenced area dedicated to dogs. Port la Galère is about 3 km from the village of Théoule sur Mer, which has nice beaches and a selection of shops for supplies. It is about 15 km from Cannes, with its glitzy atmosphere and Festival, and 40 km from Nice and its international airport. It is very easily accessible, and away from the busy roads and railway track on the riviera. NB: from 1st of July to 31st August, an extra charge applies, to be paid upon arrival, to the compound administration, to access all services and amenities in the compound (temporary membership fee to the Club of Port la Galère), for children over 16years old and adults

We had a fantastic stay in Port La Galere end of October. The residence is very nice, quiet and in the heart of the Côte d'Azur with so many beautiful places nearby. The apartment is very comfortable and cozy. Everything for a pleasant stay is available and Leopoldine is a wonderful host. The communication was perfect and we received a lot of helpful Information. I can definitely recommend the accommodation. Thank you for everything 💖

Séjour très réussi !
Appartement très agréable dans une résidence arborée calme et très soignée avec deux grandes terrasses face à la mer. L’appartement est très bien agencé avec tout le matériel nécessaire et en très bon état.
Très bonne communication avec la propriétaire qui répond très rapidement à nos questions.

Tres bon séjour
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour et reviendrons avec plaisir , le duplex était conforme aux photos et impeccable . La propriétaire nous avait laissé sur place un petit kit d'arrivée tres agréableet utile que nous avons utilisé avec beaucoup de plaisir . Je recommande ce bien .

Comfortabele woning met prima ligging
Tijdens de meivakantie hebben wij met onze beide jongens twee weken doorgebracht in deze comfortabele woning.
Pluspunten: Alles is in de woning aanwezig, goede schone bedden, een mooi verwarmd gezamenlijk zwembad op korte afstand, vanaf bovenste balkon fraai zeezicht.
Minpunten: Eigenlijk geen.
De foto's komen goed overeen met de werkelijkheid. Het contact met de eigenaar/verhuurder was prettig en snel. Voor ons zeker een mooie plek om terug te keren.

Cadre magnifique et appartement très confortable
Nous avons passé 10 jours magnifiques à Port la galère. Période très calme, piscine extérieure chauffée, tennis et terrain de basket pour les enfants. Environnement sécurisé et clôt. Nous recommandons cette location très bien équipée et spacieuse. Terrasse vue mer exceptionnelle !

Un très bon séjour
Nous avons eu le plaisir d'avoir un superbe appartement sur 2 étages. Chaque étage avec terrasse avait une vue sur la mer. Tout était prévu pour le confort. Très bonne literie. Nous avons pu bénéficier d'une piscine chauffée à 23° pour le mois d'avril, un sauna, un hammam et une salle de sport. Une grande tranquillité dans une résidence privée. Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit schönem Meerblick
Sans Rival war unser Feriendomizil im März für 2 Wochen. Die Wohnung nutzten wir mit 4, zeitweise mit 5 Personen, was problemfrei durch die zwei Badezimmer und 3 WC möglich war.
Die Ausstattung bietet alles was man benötigt und die Betreuung durch die Eigentümerin ist sehr gut. Zu erwähnen sind noch die guten Betten! Es hat uns rundum sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen sicher gerne wieder. Vielen Dank!

The apartment was perfectly clean and nicely decorated... We came with children. And actually the place is very easy (no traffic, several pools with one dedicated for small children, a shop within the residence...). Perfect place for families or couples (charming view ;-). We love so much the place that we’re going back this year!

Little gem in an exclusive community overlooking the sea
We just returned having spent a week at Leopoldine's property in the exclusive Port la Galere 20 minutes west of Cannes. Go now!! It was a little slice of heaven.
The apartment was in a lovely condition. White furniture, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and good entertaining space. There are two balconies, both of which overlook the sea. The kitchen was nicely appointed and had essentially all that we needed to cook and entertain. It is a small kitchen, but for us it worked just fine.
It has a private entrance and fantastic access to the tennis courts as well as the beach. It's quite hilly, which we loved as it made for additional privacy and magestic views.
The pools are big and have character. One is salt water and the other is chlorinated. People were a little irritable with kids making noise but we were there off season so maybe this is why?
All in all it's a fabulous property. Leopoldine was easy to work with and takes pride in her place.

La Galere ist eine traumhaft schöne Ferienanlage. Die Vermieterin, Leopoldine kümmert sich äusserst gut um ihre Gäste. Die Administration hat ausgezeichnet geklappt. Die Wohnung ist genau so wie beschrieben.

Great holidays!
Fabulous panorama view on the Mediterranean from the 2 main bedrooms and living room! Bedrooms are very spacious and the apartment is nicely furnished and well equipped. Although our stay was in November, the weather was lovely and we could have a few meals on the terrace. The apartment is very conveniently located: short and easy access to the shopping mall, the highway, Cannes, Grasse, Toulon... Clean apartment, modern bathrooms, nice linens, comfortable sofas, fireplace for winter holidays… nothing was missing! The concierge was very professional and helpful. I would recommend this place for family or romantic holidays.

The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable with fantastic views. In practical terms the kitchen has full-size appliances (cooker, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine etc.), there is a comfortable sitting area with modern TV and DVD, and upstairs the two full-size bedrooms have cooling air conditioning and modern bathrooms.
Whilst there is no dedicated parking for the apartment we always found somewhere near to park, and for arrival and departure it is possible to park outside the apartment for unloading/loading of the car.
In terms of the complex itself the Winter Club is approximately a 3-4 minute walk away, and the Summer Club, where the pool is located, is approximately a 7-8 minute walk away, both require a walk either down fairly steep steps or along the road, which takes slightly longer. Coming back there is a free shuttle bus if energy levels are low.
The Summer Club has a fantastic pool, bar, restaurant, and surrounding beeches. Whilst the beaches are rocky, it is a “flat rock” so comfortable to lie on with a towel, or you can hire a sun-lounger for €5 per day. There is a lifeguard at the beach so it is safe to swim, and there is a nice floating sunbathing area in the bay, which is easy to swim to.
On-site there is a small shop that is useful for the basics or emergencies, but for a full shop the Geant Casino is the best option, and is a 15 minute or so drive away along the scenic coast road. The Summer Club restaurant is quite lively and also has a take away pizza parlour, both of which are good, and for formal dining in a sedate atmosphere there is the Winter Club restaurant. Theoule-sur-Mer itself is only a few minutes away by car but parking is difficult, and can be walked in about 40 minutes, and it has a small supermarket and a mix of bars and restaurants.
The owner, Leopoldine, was very helpful, and everything was ready for us when we arrived. All in all it is an apartment we would recommend and consider visiting again in the future.

Sehr schöne Ferienanlage mit Pool und Meerzugang - eine Oase der Ruhe an der lebhaften Cote d'Azur
Die 100 qm Wohnung auf 2 Etagen ist sehr schön eingerichtet und hat einen tollen Blick aufs Meer von beiden Balkonen.
Die Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet.
Ideal für eine Familie mit 2-3 Kindern oder auch für zwei Paare (3 Schlafzimmer, 2 Bäder und eine Gästetoilette).
Durch die Lage in der bewachten Clubanlage Port la Galere ist es in der Anlage sehr ruhig und erholsam. Zwei Poolanlagen mit Bars, mehrere kleinere Meerzugänge sowie der Sommer-, der Winter-Club und ein kleiner Laden sorgen dafür , dass alles für einen tollen Sommerurlaub vorhanden ist.
Die Besitzerin kümmert sich perfekt um die Gäste: Im Vorfeld gibt es bereits ausreichend Informationen, zum Empfang stehen Wein, Bier und Wasser kostenlos zur Verfügung und auch während des Aufenthalts ist sie für Rückfragen immer erreichbar.
Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen - wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

The flat is bright and peaceful, with two big terraces both with wonderful views. Furnished with taste, the bathrooms have been recently fully renovated. Thoughtful welcome package that made us feel at home right away. The whole compound is very well kept and full of beautiful trees. Port la Galere is a unique place "pieds dans l'eau" - right by the sea. Very quiet in offseason and the sea warm enough to enjoy a swim from its own rockside-beach. The apartment is pleasant, spacious and well equipped. We appreciated the heating which functioned well, so we felt cosy despite the rainy weather. The mattress could be a little firmer, but thats a very personal judgment. The only thing missing was a scale, to keep a check on our weight. Especially loved the wonderful, mature gardens and the seaview. On rainy days we visited Museums such as Leger in Biot, Picasso in Antibes. Beware some of them are closed on Tuesday instead of Monday. There are a few steps into the apartment and quite a walk down to the sea, good exercise but maybe not for those with knee problems. The owner is very friendly, helpful and charming. Warmly recommend it.

The perfect holiday for rest and relaxation! The apartment was close to all facilities, in particular to the Winter club which had a well equipped gym, pool, restaurant and spa. It was well worth the short walk to the gorgeous Summer club by the sea front and marina. The apartment itself was clean and very well maintained giving a warm and homely feel. We had a very comfortable stay with the air conditioning being a welcome bonus! It was great to have a selection of pools and swimming areas with stunning views across the bays. There was a choice of two restaurants during the Summer months but we also took a short drive to the picturesque small town of Theoule-Sur-mer where we found a number of beach side restaurants. There was also a train station with links to all the popular seaside towns, which was great for a day out as traffic was sometimes congested around Cannes.
The owners were extremely helpful before and during the holiday and helped the holiday to flow seamlessly. We were a group of varied ages, all of whom had a great time and we thoroughly recommend it!

Great week in the Cote d'Azur
I stayed for a week with my family (3 children) and we had a wonderful time and beautiful weather. The property was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. People helped us in a friendly way and helped us translate things into English. The condo and the property are magnificent. My kids loved the spiral staircase! We would definitely recommend and definitely consider staying again.

The location precise and the environs has charm. It's a really practical living space, clean and comfortable and well presented with a lovely terrace large enough to eat on and a clear view to the sea. Good information from the owner in advance of arrival. Walking distance to the chic bar and restaurant of the club house and to the swimming pool (though it was too cold to swim). Local town, Theoule sur Mer, provided food supplies and we had one good lunch there, at Marco Polo, and a walk along the shingle beach.
I would certainly recommend this apartment to friends and will be returning on my own account.
