About this condo rental
Nestled in Orange Beach, this lovely condo for $398 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Welcome to Emerald Skye 41, your Beach Escape! Beach = Happy!!!! Book with a Local! We live full time in the Gulf Shores, only 10 minutes from this condo, and pride ourselves on taking great care of our guests. The area is awesome and we are happy to take time and share our knowledge. Do you want an affordable Gulf front vacation with great amenities at low prices? Our Condo is for you! JUST UPDATED New stove, Washer Dryer, and Polywood Patio Furniture! Decorated with tasteful nautical decor throughout, our oceanfront corner unit has panoramic views of the beach and Gulf. There is NOTHING between you and the water... Dig your toes into the sugar white sand and relax, or play in the pool! (Heated March-November) This is nicer and more affordable than a hotel! The corner unit has three extra windows so you have a 180 degree view of the beach and Gulf, from the comfort of your sofa. (Once you step into a corner unit, you won't be able to go back to an interior one! And don't be fooled, only corner units on the 4th, 5th and 6th floors have extra windows...) You can also sit on the private balcony and watch for a glimpse of the dolphins playing in the waves. Perfect for families and affordable for couples, this one bedroom unit is loaded with extras to make your stay enjoyable. My husband and I have two children so we know how to make a place 'kid friendly'. We have put a lot of thought into setting up the Condo and have two TV's, DVD players, stereo, dvd library, board games, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and sand toys there for you to use. Of course there is also a fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer if you need them! The layout is great for kids. There is a bunk area and dresser in the hallway (my kids love the bunks!) that can be totally shut off from the rest of the unit. There is a door to the private bedroom with a king bed, and a pocket door between the bunk area and living area. Why pay for a two bedroom place, when all you really want is a place where you can put the kids to bed and close a door?! Emerald Skye is a low density building (only 36 units) so the beach in front doesn't get jam-packed like it does in front of some of those giant high-rises. There is an elevator, covered picnic area, and an outdoor heated pool. Extra storage lockers on the ground floor give you a place to stash sand-covered stuff on your way to and from the beach. Our locker is fully stocked for you! If you aren't familiar with Orange Beach, it is an awesome location. We have a little library of guidebooks and area information in the Condo for you to use. You can golf, shop, parasail, bike and hike in the state park, eat at great restaurants, go to the Blue Angel Museum or the Battleship (getting tired yet?) or you can hang out on the beach all day, and have pizza delivered in at night. The choice is yours! OWNERS We are locals, and Janet has been managing rental properties for 20 years and is a Premier Partner on VRBO. Want more room to spread out? Condo was exactly as described. Close to everything, great beach access, comfortable and what a view! You get to see the sunrise in the morning over the ocean and the sunset in the evening. The balcony is the perfect breakfast spot.

This was a great place to relax and sit on the balcony and read. The condo was just the right size and my husband got a kick out of the bunk beds in the hallway. The pocket door was nice to be able to close off the bedroom(s) from the living room. The kitchen was well stocked and the furniture was comfy. The chair was wobbly and took some time to be able to sit and balance it. The hot water was a bit lacking in the shower but was great in the kitchen. The appliances are a bit "used" and could use a bit of repair. Overall though, we enjoyed ourselves and the location was great for biking and visiting the State Park.

My wife and I spent a week at this beautiful condo overlooking the Gulf. The condo had everything we needed. It was very comfortable and the view was mesmerizing. Being that the condo is a corner unit, the view was even more panoramic. The owner was very nice and extremely responsive. We will definitely plan on coming back.

Great for a small family. Overall i enjoyed it . A new ac system would be great along with new w &d. The furniture wasnt really made for comfort but was ok. An upgrade on patio furniture would be awesome. Now i know this sounds like a bad review but isnt. Its a nice condo . Just was being honest in relation to other condos weve stayed at.

First of all just let me tell you a little about this condo. It was absolutely perfect for us! Probably my most favorite thing is the storage downstairs. There are plenty of beach chairs, toys, floats, umbrellas, I even found an air pump after I spent an hour blowing up one of our tubes. We could use anything in it plus leave our sandy items in there to keep from taking them up to the room. We had a 5 year old with us so the sand toys were a life saver. My second favorite thing was the rocking chair on the balcony. Absolutely loved it! I will be looking for condos with rocking chairs from now on :) There is also a swivel rocker in the living room that I really enjoyed. Fan of rockers here as you can tell. The location was great. We were about 1/2 mile or so from the Walmart neighborhood market. We didn’t eat out much but I saw several restaurants nearby. The condo was very clean. Roku in the living room was nice. I was able to log into my accounts and enjoy that at night. Probably the only thing I would say that we needed and didn’t have was a fan but we bought one. If you sleep with a fan definitely take one. I texted the owner a few times and she immediately responded. 10/10 recommend.

Condo was in clean condition. On our first night, the main air conditioner went out but property manager was quick to send a repairman next day. No fans located in condo which should probably be considered for future guests. Also consider adding an additional roll of toilet paper and extra garbage bags as a courtesy to guests.

Condo has a great view. We really liked having the floor level closet for sand toys and chairs. Beach wasn't too crowded and condo building wasn't busy. We had a great stay. Plenty to do within a 10 minute drive.

The property was very clean and the location was perfect. It had a beautiful view and the beach was amazing. There was plenty of restaurants and things to do within walking distance. We really enjoyed walking the beach at night to CoastAL restaurant- great food and ambiance. We would stay at this property again.

This was the perfect location for our first family vacation. The complex was small so the pool wasn’t ever crowded or the beach right by the condo had plenty of space. The view was great and watching the dolphins in the afternoons from the balcony was just an extra advantage! We loved not have to pack sand toys for the kiddos and the owners were great with communication.

Loved the gulf view and the beautiful beach. We observed dolphins and it's always fun to watch the surfers and the pelicans. The property was comfortable. The furniture was fine. The bed was comfy.
There was very little available cabinet space as it seems guests leave a lot of kitchen items behind. The only minor negative comment is that there was a musty odor in the bedroom. But overall, this was a great property for a couple or a small family.

Good location (within walking distance of most services) and great views. Ideal for taking it easy and chilling out. There's also a small exercise room in the building (with elliptical machine, treadmill, stationary bike and free weights), which turned out to be a pleasant surprise since it wasn't mentioned in the condo's description.

I cannot say enough good things about this property. It is bright, clean, cozy and welcoming. It is tastefully decorated (in no way overdoses it on the cheesy beach decor) Not to mention the full beach views. The condo offers so many conveniences that make it feel like home. We enjoyed coffees, breakfasts and lunches on the balcony without breaking the bank constantly eating out. The beds are very comfortable. My son gives the pool 2 very big thumbs up and the locker full of beach wears is such a perfect convenience. I'd like to tell you all you MUST book this place, but I don't want it to be booked when we go again 😝. But seriously, book it. You will NOT be disappointed.

Perfect location, easy access to all the local bars, entertainment and grocery stores. The condo was very clean and accommodating. The beach was perfect along with the storage closet filled with chairs and an umbrella. My favorite part was drinking coffee on the balcony every morning and watching the dolphins up front. Janet was great to work with, super friendly and easy to communicate with. If given the opportunity, I'd book again in a heartbeat!

This was our first time booking a condo through Vrbo and visiting Orange Beach. The location was perfect and everything was just as described by our host, Janet. She made it very stress free so we could relax and enjoy our week. The beach accessories was an extra bonus. A lighted concrete pier is the perfect focal point for your balcony viewing. Loved watching and listening to the waves crash against it. This is an older complex which is a plus. Because it’s only 4 stories, it is quiet. The owners have lovingly furnished and updated the unit and are available instantly if needed - a very nice touch.

The Property was just as advertised. We were steps from the Beach. Fully stocked. Nothing missing. Weather was perfect. Water was beautiful. Local restaurants offered a variety of food. We will be back!
