Amazing amazing amazing.

We loved every corner of this house. I don’t know how to discribe this place - it is a real paradise, a 5 star hotel equivalent or even better. This was the best stay in my entire life tbh. If you want to work remotely and have an amazing place to stay, just book Casa Azuaje. It has everything you need and more! You don’t have to leave the flat even. We also could discover north Gran Canaria (went to Galdar museum, Agaete, Las Palmas, El Puertillo, Moya, Tilos de Moya). The kitchen is my dream kitchen with a breathtaking view with windows all around. The bathroom is like a luxus spa. The bed supercomfi. Its a rural house but modern made. There is a huge terrace with sunbeds and a table for dining - some geccos are joining you to check up on your dinner. It is quiet, no stupid tourists whatsoever. There was a way down (pedestrian path) from the hill which was sometimes challenging but i loved it. I could “exercise” and down at the hill there is an amazing natural swimming pool. I took the bus to go to las palmas and el puertillo. Was supereasy and quick. You don’t necessarily need a car. Fernando was supernice and helpful! We regret that we left this great place for maspalomas. We are already missing it…

Superb

The view on the Barranco from the terrace is really impressive ! The house itself is pleasant, spacious with lots of storage, and we found all required first need products. Overall, a very good place to explore the north and west of the Island !

Superb

Nice spacious house in the quiet area. Views are incredible. Our host was very kind and helpful. We had a great time there.

Not really a big issue and it was sorted out before our last day of the stay. There is just one, narrow access road and unfortunately it was under repair for first few days of our stay. It was open to traffic according to the time schedule (On a couple of occasions workers made a passage for us even in their working hours) We didn't mind to much as we were always on the move. Leaving the house in the mornings and coming back late in the evenings. Road was fully opened by the time we were leaving the place.

Spacious apartments with excellent views

The house is located in a green part of the island in a countryside. From (to) the airport by car, a journey takes about 40 minutes. A part of the road in mountains (a narrow road with hairpin turns) takes about 15 minutes. At first time it is unusual (after a plain in my experience), but then it ceases to be a difficulty and the roads are in good condition. A big supermarket about 20 minutes, a nearest national park are 10 minutes away. Also it is possible to walk right from the house along a gorge towards the ocean (it is not necessary to go down or up). It is very calm here: only the singing of birds and the crowing of roosters. The apartments have everything you need: house appliances (oven, dishwasher, hob, toaster, microwave, etc. which really work), linen, towels, enough pillows, detergents, garbage bags, etc. The Internet connection is also quite fast and stable. TVs with smart TV functions. Great balcony with sunbeds, a table and an amazing view. Modern bathroom with an interesting design. Parking at the house. Fast and complete host responses via messenger. Contactless check-in (out).

All completely satisfied. Sometimes ants can visit (but you just need to take out the trash more often) and other small insects (but this is nature, not a city). Just a few possible suggestions. It would be possible to suggest a place for a grill (I saw an electric grill in the closet, but since there was no description, I did not risk using it). Maybe an another suggestion to install mosquito nets on small windows (so as not to spoil the view, but to be able to ventilate without the access of possible insects). Consider an awning on the balcony (although with the wind this may not be very easy).

Spacious and peaceful apartment with sea and mountain views.

Fantastic apartment with a lot of privacy. This does mean that there's not a lot of facilities close by, so good to come prepared. The apartment offers exceptional views and is spacious and comfortable. The host, Fernando, is very friendly and speaks excellent English. Great communication. The apartment is well-equipped and cleverly laid out with a nice terrace and large windows overlooking the valley. A great place to enjoy nature, peace and quiet.

Getting to the apartment for the first time (especially) in the dark might feel a little daunting, as it feels like you're driving beyond the edge of civilisation. We got used to the route very quickly, but it's good to be aware at first. Closest shop and/or restaurant is at least 15 minutes by car. There is no air conditioning in the apartment. This could turn into a discomfort in periods of excessive heat, but generally the sea-breeze cools the apartment well enough. The bed seems to be a bit on the short side (I think perhaps 1,90m?).

Fernando is a warm-hearted and caretaking host. The flat was bigger than expected and cosy. You should consider having a rental, as it is a mission to get there by feet😄. The stunning view on the Terrasse is amazing!

We found Casa Azuaje a very cosy , pleasant and comfortable place. It was fully equiped with everything which was nacessary to have a good rest. And last but not the least Fernando , the owner, the extraordinary man helpful an every troublesome situations, always with a smile on his face. We truly recommend this place to other guests.

We would love to go back here.

This apartment is all about the location. The views are fantastic. The pictures don`t actually do it justice. Whilst its 15 mins by car to the sea due to the twisty road, you can see and hear the sea from the apartment. It is well kitted out and comfortable. The shower is powerful and hot and the bedroom is cozy and quiet. There were some access problems due to road works but the host was very proactive in getting around that and sorted things out with the workers as much as was possible and communication was excellent.

Not a criticism or problem for me but you will need to be a confident driver to access this apartment. However if you like challenging driving its great!

An absolute gem in the heart of Canarian nature, far from the maddening all-in resorts

If you are looking for an authentic Canarian experience, absolute peace and quiet and a host that will go out of his way to make your stay unforgettable, look no more. This place was everything I could have hoped and more. The perfect escape from the mundane. The ultimate place to relax, switch off and recharge. The cute house is situated high up with drop dead gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains and ocean. The area is absolutely still. In the morning you are awoken by the birds singing and beautifully colored skies. In the evening you can sip Canarian wine, watching the sun set over the banana plantations and later on watching the stars. The location is gorgeous, the house extremely clean (one of my nr. 1 priorities when booking a stay). The bed is incredibly comfortable, kitchen is super equipped with everything you might need for short or a long stay. And the bathroom has a lovely rainshower. The place is tastefully designed in a mix of traditional and modern, embracing the views. Fer is an incredible host. His love for the house is apparent the moment you enter the place. He really wants his guests to have the most comfortable stay, taking any comments or remarks into account to continuously improve their experience. He was there for me during my entire stay, making sure I had everything I needed, giving me recommendations on anything from places to visit, to authentic restaurants, to the current traffic situation. I was incredibly sad to leave this beautiful property and am already making plans to return for a longer period next year.

If you are coming from the city, the complete silence at night might freak you out (nothing a youtube white noise clip cannot fix). The bed is so comfortable, you don't really want to get up. The access road to the property might spook inexperienced drivers (for peace of mind, get a CWD for your rental).

Awesome view in an amazing apartment surrounded by beautiful nature on the north shore of GC

What a great place! The apartment got everything you could ask for. Fully equipped kitchen, awesome bathroom and a breath-taking view from the big deck. That’s also the most amazing thing about this place: you are on top of a little mountain surrounded by nature. If you are a nature lover, you will love this place!

I don't think that photos are doing true justice to how the place looks like. The house is beautiful and very spacious. The location is quite tricky to find and you definitely need a car to get there but is 100% worth it. Loved the quietness and relaxing evenings !!!
