About this house rental
Situated in Dewey Beach, this lovely house for $2,418 per night is a great option for your next trip. Rent this fantastic house as a whole. It is pristinely maintained. You may rent by the weekend, midweek, full week , and extended options. The only stipulation being that you can't check-in or out on a Saturday. You can rent as many nights as you like; however, we keep out weekends together. The best bang for the buck is to rent Sunday to Friday. The property is set up to entertain with a full size kitchen and a full size bar area that duels as a kitchen. There is a dishwasher, washer/dryer, and refrig on each of the 2 levels of the house. There is also a full size deck on each of the 2 levels and parking for 4-5 cars. Be the envy of people walking by...this location was recently built and includes top of the line cabinetry, under mount stainless double sinks with granite counter tops. Appliances are stainless, including wolf induction range with large oven. The washer/dryers are full sized. Bathrooms have Corian counter-tops with Toto no-clog toilets. Furnishings are from top makers including Tommy Bahama, Moosehead, Bob Timberlake, Hooker, Potterybarn, etc. The flooring can't be beat with all living areas having hand skived hardwood floors with Tactesse carpeting in the bedrooms (very soft!). The kitchen's small appliances are from Williams and Sonoma including a Capresso coffee maker, miele vacuum, villaware waffle maker, Kitchen aide mixer, Waring blender, etc. Decking made from Brazilian hardwood with comfortable outdoor furniture. Also included are additional beach chairs, wagon, boogie boards, beach activities, etc. This property is clearly for those that want to have no worries when they come in town to enjoy DEWEY! Either cook in or go out to enjoy fabulous restaurants...recommendations available upon request! Just bring your belongings and you are ready to go. All this PLUS YOU ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF DEWEY, 1 block to the beach...PRIME LOCATION!!! Jolly Trolley pick up at the end of the street. Runs every 20 minutes from 9 am to 2 am. You can check in internet for exact times or a schedule is available at the unit. ***Maid service is available for extra charge***

My wife and I got married at Baywood in Milsboro and stayed at this property over the weekend of our wedding with family and friends. It was an absolutely perfect location for the group. We were able to walk to the beach each morning, there are plenty of food options around, and the starboard is less than a block away!
The house itself was amazing. With multiple refrigerators, kitchens and living spaces, everyone was able to hang out together when they wanted, but have privacy when needed.
I could not recommend a better place to stay in Dewey with a large group!

Great location, clean and large accommodating spaces. I thought having two separate living areas would make them feel small but there was plenty of room on both floors for the whole family. As a bonus, the house was well stocked with everything we needed. Also, having a few umbrellas and chairs setup for us on the beach was super helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Immaculate and well located with high end appliances and two really well equipped kitchens. Walking distance from the beach, bars and restaurants in Dewey and a six minute drive from Rehoboth. Comfortable beds and lots of closets and drawers.

Loved this house. It was big and spacious, everyone in our group got their own room and the proximity to the beach and local Main Street/bars was so convenient. Communication with the property management leading up to and during the stay was also prompt and responsive.

The house was plenty big for all our family. Enough beds and liked the 6 full baths for all to use. Plenty of kitchen and refrigerator space. Able to walk to a lot of restaurants.

Our family reunion in Dewey Beach was so easy and delightful. The house was the perfect size for 7 adults and 7 kids, including teens and toddlers. The kitchen had everything we needed, but there were great spots just a block away. The beach was beautiful and very close. Everything was great.

The house was amazing! Everything we needed was available to us. The only thing that made me uncomfortable was that I felt like I was being watched by the owner. On Friday, the owners children were there doing “maintenance” though I wasn’t sure exactly what they were doing. And on check out day the owner showed up at 845 am as we were trying to pack up and clean up and began lecturing us about the trash. I was fully aware of how to do dispose of the trash if it didn’t fit designated trash cans but it seemed she assumed I was just going to leave it there. Afterward she waited at the bottom of the outdoor steps appearing to be monitoring us. Check out was 10am and we were out in plenty of time for her to come after that. I just felt very uneasy in the home like the owner was waiting for me to mess up or destroy her home. This group was a bunch of 30 something adults with homes and families of our own and very respectful of peoples homes.
Again great house great location but be prepared for unexpected visits from the owner

This house was perfect for our group's stay during a friend's wedding. Plenty of rooms for each couple and plenty of bathrooms, which is prime for big groups getting ready for events. Proximity to the beach is choice.

This was a great place to spend a family Thanksgiving... This year we had some folks with specific dietary preferences/allergies and having two kitchens made it incredibly easy to keep everyone happy and safe. The location was great, with plenty of places to eat within walking distance even during the off-season, just watch out for the Town's Parking rules if you happen to put a car on the street for any reason!
Communication was great, and when we had a question right at the beginning of the stay she responded right away and helped resolve it.
While a little chilly during our stay, the double, large porches were places that would add even more space to an already large home - bedrooms were well furnished and decorated, with plenty of room and comfy beds for all. Would definitely rent again.

Our family loved staying at this beautiful home - there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out/feel comfortable across the two floors, a well-equipped kitchen and an easy walk to the beach. The neighborhood was fantastic too. Would absolutely book here again!

Let me preface this by saying that 1) this is a really beautiful home in an absolutely perfect location and 2) I travel a lot for work so I've communicated with many owners. This was by far the single worst experience I've had, hands down.
Let's start with the fact that the owner requires the second half of your payment to be sent via check or Zelle, which I've come to find out is a hilarious violation of VRBO's terms of service. In fact, their website states that "Criminals prefer these payment methods. Using them voids any guarantees from us." The owner contacted me after checkout to inform us someone in my party (a 35 year old man) somehow broke a boxspring and she would be withholding part of our security deposit. That's impossible to prove (the owner admits she didn't see it for herself, just a photo) but I have no options since I paid by check. So that's fun.
We stay in Rehoboth every year, renting multiple properties. Signing a temporary lease/contract is typical and there's often additional fees for things like linens. I wish I'd read this contract more closely and by the time I did, we were stuck. The renter is responsible for cleaning, folding and putting away towels, texting the owner an hour before checkout and then remaking all of the beds with clean sheets. Sorry, but if you're trying to get a group of 20 out the door by 10AM (or pay a penalty), that's virtually impossible.
Finally, the owner was kind enough to actually enter the property 10 minutes before checkout (actually a violation of her own contract) to passive-aggressively confront me about our failure to text her for clean sheets. It killed the vacation.
Normally when I rent a place for the cost of a used car, I'd expect someone to answer my questions before check-in (she didn't) for the oven to work (it didn't) and to not be accused of destroying property without proof, while keeping my security deposit in direct violation of this sites actual rules.
My advice to the owner- hire someone who knows hospitality management to manage your properties. You are the worst at it.

We had a wonderful time for our family at 114 Saulsbury St. Dewey Beach. The house was great, very clean with lots of amenities. It was perfect for our family vacation. Short walk to the beach and plenty of shops in town nearby. Maria was very responsive to any of our questions and requests
