Our friends have always called Vero Beach paradise and request that all of their visitors keep it a secret because it’s so special. In saying that, this cottage - Summerplace - is a unique and special piece of that paradise so close to the beach. The accommodations were quite adequate and comfortable and we felt like we had escaped to a tropical location although our weather was a bit cool for our time. The location could not have been any better for us and the owners were especially accommodating and quick to communicate throughout the entire process of securing the place to check in and check out. They made sure we felt welcome on our arrival and were easily available should we have had any problems or concerns. We hope to make a return to Summerplace should the opportunity arise in the future.

My family and I enjoyed very much staying at Tony’s and Patricia's home located steps away from the gorgeous Vero Beach. The kids played soccer, surfed, and kitesurfed regularly. The two story home was beautifully decorated and comfortable amongst friendly neighbors. Highly recommend!!

My family really enjoyed our stay! The home was very nice and perfect for my husband and I and our 18 and 20 year old sons. The house was very close to the beach and since we flew we could not bring a lot of beach equipment. Everything we needed for the beach was there for us to use: beach towels, umbrellas, chairs, a cooler etc. The beach is not crowded and the few people that were there were very friendly. Would recommend to anyone looking for a unique house in a quiet area. The house has a lot of amenities and we really had a wonderful vacation there!

The home is beautiful, light and very comfortable. The beds are of quality and very comfortable. We slept very well. The owners are accommodating and very kind. I would love to rent this property every year. We were so close to the ocean, such a beautiful and quiet beach. Love love love.

We loved the house and wanted to bring the king bed home with us , it was so comfortable ! We were beyond thrilled as to how close it was to the beach ! The beach chairs came in handy and we were happy to cook some meals ourselves in the beautiful kitchen vs eating out all the time . Thank you for making our trip for my son's wedding extra special . We would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to rent for their vacation !

Patricia and Anthony's beach cottage is all they say it is! It is elegant, comfortable, and absolutely the best location ever for those who love to go to the beach to swim, or just walk along the beach in the early morning or evening, or anytime at all since the cottage is just minutes away on foot. The fact that we could just go and come to the beach so easily made it super convenient when some of us wanted to stay and some of us wanted to head back to the house. The house itself is lovely with all of the amenities needed to make us feel very much at home. Thank you, Patricia and Anthony! We would love to go back someday!

My wife and I stayed there the 4Th of July week with our 2 dogs. Had a wonderful time. Like it says, the beach is only steps away, very nice and very private. We cooked and grilled a lot of our own meals. The Ocean Grill in Vero Beach was very picturesque and great food. One of our dogs needed medical care and to our surprise a veterinarian lives across the street and helped us out. Our doggie is now fine. Very friendly area. The place was nice and clean and had everything we needed even to go to the beach. It was a great choice.

We had a wonderful three months. Summerplace is a welcoming, old fashioned neighborhood where people meet on the beach, or dog walking and make a genuine neighborhood of 50% year round residents and 50% renters. This home is a beautiful place that is filled with sunlight. The master and main living / kitchen area is on the second floor which creates a beautiful, open, private escape. It was nicely furnished and completely uncluttered. The towels and linens were first class, and each bed had a great mattress. The owners will stay in touch as much as you need or want, and they will give you privacy if you don't need them. This was the best rental experience we have had in five years renting in Vero.

This beach house is in a great location and is decorated to be really fun to stay in and get into the mood of a beach side vacation. In fact, the photos don't do it justice. It's a real key west style three story place. Tony is also a great and responsive host.

Patricia and Tony have a BEAUTIFUL home and are very welcoming. This vacation was the most relaxing and enjoyable we could have ever dreamed of. Our kids loved the open floor plan! Our daily walk to the beach and the convenience of the home was more than we could ask for. Next best thing would be to live here. We will DEFINITELY be back!!!! Thank you Patricia and Tony.

I work as an RN in a very busy emergency room which can be extremely stressful a d tiring. My co workers and I were looking for a relaxing get away and we found it! The house was beyond what the pictures could show. It was so light and airy! The beach was gorgeous (minus a little seaweed) and we mostly had it to ourselves.

This is a great house, nicely decorated, cozy and comfortable, with a loft where I felt a strong impulse to start writing again, dreaming with Hemingway's life…. ha ha ha! We biked, played tennis and had dinner both in Vero Beach and Sebastian; the food was delicious. We loved the fact that we were so close to a private access beach. We had a lot of fun playing in the beach, taking long walks and just relaxing in the sun. The owners were very accommodating and replied very quickly to any questions we had. I would recommend this house for any family vacation. It was fantastic!

The month was wonderful. We walked the marvelous beach daily. The cottage had ample space for seven (one 2 1/2 yr.old), when our our kids visited for five days. Our host greeted us with a basket of fruit and wine and were very responsive when we had questions. The master suite was very spacious and comfortable. We plan on returning.

We did like very much your modern but relax décor. Each room has a special touch. Bathrooms are rustic but very practical and functional. The living and eating area is large, comfortable and at the same time very cozy with the chimney. We spent good time in your upper terrace doing BBQs and having long chats and wine. Distance to the ocean feels like no time walking through these nice houses and lush vegetation. The ocean and surroundings are truly amazing. Overall our stay in your house and in Vero Beach was fantastic.. Thank you!!

We have stayed in Summerplace before and love the area. This home was absolutely beautiful, very clean, bright and open. It is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing vacation.

We were greeted by a lovely bowl of fruit and fine champagne from our hosts. The home is beautiful, airy, and had lots of room for our family of 6 to be together and also have privacy if we wanted to do things separately. The morning and evening walks on the beautiful beach was just steps away and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The home is close enough for many activities and the men enjoyed a successful fishing trip out of Hiram's in Sebastian. It was truly 10 days in paradise and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you to our hosts for sharing their spectacular home!

The BEST relaxing vacations!!!.. The house is amazing!!!... beautiful and delicate decoration, spacious and bright, wonderful!!!! The rooms are very comfortable. The neighbors are so nice and kind. The beach is at a walking distance to the house on a beautiful path full of vegetation, it is gorgeous!!!! Its the perfect place to rest and share.. We enjoyed so much as a family!!! We took a lot of pictures to share with our family and friends to recommend this spectacular and charming place!!! We are very happy to have been there.. We hope to go again... We loved it!! We had a magnificent stay at this beautiful, charming beach cottage! The cottage is spacious, cozy, very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all of the essentials for relaxing on the beach, cooking, laundry, lounging, etc. While we thoroughly enjoyed our time spent indoors, we especially loved the private, gorgeous beach just a short walk from the cottage! Everything was even better than we expected based on the photos/info provided on VRBO. Tony and Patricia are wonderful people! We thank you both for your generous hospitality! We look forward to our next opportunity to stay at Sandpiper and will be sure to inform friends and family of this fantastic getaway!
