Gute Lage aber wenig Komfort

die Lage ist super

hatten auf Anfrage einen Kühlschrank angefordert dieser kam aber nicht - Reinigung der Zimmer geschieht nur wenn man sich in eine Liste einträgt…auch wurden wir am Abreisetag um kurz vor 10 Uhr geweckt und sollten das Zimmer räumen …Qualität dieses Hotels nimmt aufjedenfall ab!

Not for solo travelers.

The staff was so nice, the people at reception and the people in the dining and bar area, just wonderful. The rooms are large. The location is good because it's close to both the beach and the boardwalk area with restaurants and bars. There is a lot to do in this area.

As a solo traveler, the main thing I didn't like was the key situation. They give you a giant key chain and you have to leave it at the front desk everytime you go out, in an area that isn't very secure. Also the room was very bare minimum. You cannot control the AC, there is no fridge, you have to rent the TV remote and safe key. This hotel is good for big groups of young people, but not single travelers.

View from the balcony to greenery and sunbeds on it, spacious and appearance of the room, furniture, shower, staff on reception and breakfast were very kind and helpful

Towels and toiletries were often forgotten to be changed or replenished, we had to ask for it almost every day. It was noisy sometimes even with earplugs

very good location woth a beautiful view with clean rooms and good staff, good value for money

the location was very good, it was not in the middle of parties, so it wasn’t loud, the view from the balcony was excelent (you can see the sea), there is a pool where you can chill and relax

it was sad that the pool working only till 8 pm

Fantastic staff and good hotel let down by the poor breakfast and too many Germans actung?

Nothing apart from yogurt tomatoes and fried eggs Breakfast very poor repetitive not enough choices of fresh fruits all tinned cereal choices poor

As stated above definitely fresh fruit and better quality of ingredients

Very good

Location was great, staff was lovely and helpful. Our room was very spacious and bright.

Unfortunately it was very loud during the night with loads of noisy guests coming in and out - perhaps just the wrong choice for someone travelling with a young child.

If they keep the standard and the price, next year a comeback will be a no-brainer!

I stayed at Guya for 6 nights in May 2022, half board. Almost everything exceeded my expectations. All the staff was SUPERB, the Italian receptionist (Margot) was SUPER KIND, and she was available to help all the holiday long. The room was big (and I took the standard) with plenty of space and sun. The shower was super big (approx 2 m2). The breakfast and the dinner were more than ok; plenty of choices, but (a little) repetitive (although I think it always happens in these cases). Anyway, every evening there was a choice of meat, fish, vegetables and salads, some pasta, and some rice. All in all, more than ok. The quality/price ratio was anyway EXCELLENT. If they keep the standard and the price, next year a comeback will be a no-brainer!

Some guests were noisy (and sometimes drunk). It is not a critique of the hotel, though; I think this does not depend on the structure. In a couple of cases, some side dishes at the dinner were not edible. In one case, it was a kind of fried mashed potato (at least I think it was so), and a couple of times was the pasta. The latter was definitively overcooked and of low quality. But I am Italian, and most of the guests are German, so they won't notice :). It was weird that the remote control of the TV in the room was provided against a deposit of 5 EUR (given back at the end of the stay). The hotel manager explained to us that he did so because people kept stealing it... :). Anyway, he did give us the remote without a deposit (and I did not steal the remote).

Not negatives for me but some people may want to weigh up the below: you can pay extra for a fridge and kettle - as price is so cheap you can’t criticise charging for these extras, you then have the choice if feel you want to pay for them. During our 5 night stay we didn’t receive housekeeping but again, that keeps the price down, do I change my towel at home daily, no, so I don’t expect it on holiday. I am also happy to pull my own duvet over each morning

the hotel manager tried to solve everything to the satisfaction of the guests or to take care of them, but he is also only human and only because of that the guests will not return. nice view from the room to the garden where the sun shines in the afternoon. location of the hotel in the city center, shopping and parking in the area, design reception. the price slightly exceeds the quality, otherwise suitable as a lowcost stay. possibility to order transfer from the airport for a fee.

the hotel corresponds rather to ** stars: older room equipment, some things badly repaired or not at all, cleaning on request (it wouldn't matter) -but weak, barhroom has the sink terribly high and there are no hooks on the towels, in the room behind the door to store clothes disconnected climate (no heating), very big turnkey rooms, no phone at the reception, internet weak wifi, fridge / microwave for an extra charge. due to the size of the room, I would adapt it to an apartment with a kitchen. occupancy mixed and enough children. fitness old and rusty, indoor pool unprepared. loud music from the restaurant all day (8-23), which was heard up to the top floor. billiard outside when it rains or evening can't be played and yet there would be room inside. food satisfactory: breakfast weak and without change+missed me the orange juice (in spain), dinner rather healthier and good, desserts bad.

I had several problems and left the hotel after the first night. I will try to summarize: - Arrived at the hotel in the middle of the night. The night porter was friendly but had no idea of several things I've asked. - Entering the appartment, it was freezing and very wet/humid. Probably the air conditioner was running the whole day in a very low temperature. I looked for a remote control to turn it off, unsuccessful. - I explained it to the night porter. He said that there is no remote control and only the staff during the day has access to turn it off or higher/down. - So I asked for a blanket. It took several minutes and he found a blanket anywhere. The blanket was stinking of mold. Horrible. So, we had the worst hotel night ever... in a humid room, with a mold stinking blanket and with neighbors having loud sex. - In the morning I booked another hotel to get far away of that very bad hotel. - Also in this morning I went to talk to the manager and explained everything, that I was totally dissatisfied. He was comprehensive and apologized. But anyway I would not like to stay there and I was braking up my planed 3 nights to only 1 night. And so I asked for a compensation from the hotel, as I was not staying there anymore. The manager took my contact details and said he will come back to me. - To summarize, after several calls to the hotel and several times here "we are working on that, but we are busy.." or "the hotel director is analysing", after 2 months I heard "Booking said that yout (the customer) needs to open contact". I kindly asked to forward me this e-mail they got from Booking with that instruction but I never got any e-mail and I gave on trying to get a fair compensation for all that trouble. So, I do not recommend this hotel. They weren't fair, professional and interested on a customer need.

Very good

Very nice receptionist and the whole staff. The room was big with two nice balconies, which is a huge plus. The location also very good, relatively close to two nice beaches and many restaurant options just 1-2 minutes away. Overall we were happy with our stay and we will definitely return if we need a place again in Cala Ratjada.

The room was equipped insufuciently. For instance, no small table for laptop use, the sink in the bathroom way too high (and we are 1.8 m tall). The table that was there was very high (I guess was meant as a kitchen table when it was built) but there is no bar chair...

The breakfast is out of the world. Some of their staff is friendly. The rooms are very comfortable. But, they don't give plates if you order food from outside.

The staff, especially Maria at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. They made an effort to resolve any small problems I had . The location was very good with shops,restaurants and bars around the hotel and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. My room, which was a junior suite, was large and although minimally furnished, was very comfortable. The pool area was nice and when I was there,quite quiet too. Although there were a few small issues, they were resolved and I enjoyed my stay there so I would definitely recommend it and will stay at the Guya Wave again.

The air conditioning temperature could not be controlled. There was just an on and off switch and it was quite noisy.Also it kept switching off then back on again. It needs a more modern system. The floor of the shower had permanent stains on it and the towels were quite small and thin. I had to ask for a fridge and kettle before arriving as there was not one in my room which I would expect for a junior suite and the hotel usually charges for a fridge but waived my charge as the fridge was not put in my room until the day after I arrived. There is also a charge to use the safe in the room, which I don't think there should be.

Super clean and tidy. Also the fact that they have a mega upgrade, I ended up having the equivalent of one big bedroom apartment with a balcony for myself. It was great

Nice hotel with spacious rooms

- Very good breakfast - friendly and helpful staff - spacious room - near to the restaurants and shops - just 10 minutes from beautiful Cala Agulla beach

- We have stayed at the hotel 7 nights with half board (breakfast/dinner) and dinner was all the time almost the same food. They should to change at least some of the food for something new that was not for the dinner in previous days.

Highly recommend

The hotel certainly exceeded our expectations. We've got a big room with a spacious living room, really nice bathroom, and two balconies even though we ordered a standard double room. Breakfast in the hotel was exquisite, there was a vast choice of delicious food.

Very beautiful pictures compared to reality

The staff was friendly. Quite room.

The room was not in good condition at all. The walls are quite dirty and everything in the room is pretty old. The breakfast wasn't good at all and the cutlery was dirty. With 10-15 euros/night more, you can find much better hotels. I would not recommend this hotel!
