About this cabin rental
Located in Taos Ski Valley, this lovely cabin for $690 per night is a great choice for your next break. This cabin is located just 1.5 miles above the base area, within walking distance to a mountain stream and ski return trail. With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the unit sleeps up to 8 guests. The primary bedroom features one king bed and a bathroom with a beautifully tiled walk-in shower. A second bedroom has a bunk with one twin and one queen, perfect for a small family. This bedroom also has a bathroom, which is equipped with a washer and dryer as well as a claw foot tub for relaxing after a long day of skiing. There is a third bedroom which offers a king bed and a twin with a trundle. Both the living room and primary bedroom are equipped with Dish TVs for indoor entertainment. For your convenience, a washer and dryer with necessary supplies are available. Also, wood is supplied for a wood stove to make your Taos retreat even cozier. Because of area weather conditions, we highly recommend that guests bring a 4-wheel drive vehicle during the ski season (November-April). *This property is pet-friendly requiring a $150 per pet plus tax fee for up to 2 pets.* Please be advised that this home does not have air conditioning.

The cabin was perfect and, but for the snow storms that blocked the road, this would be a 5 star stay. We were unable to drive to Taos ski village - about 1 mile away - until the snow plows reached this remote road - usually later in the day. So, if the weather is fine and the roads are passable, consider staying here. If it snows and the road is unpassable, the stay can be frustrating.

Great location, nice kitchen and living space. Plenty of room for 2 small families to share. Easy to get to the base area and then back to the cabin at the end of the day or stop back for lunch

Beautiful area, easy ski in and ski out literally 40 yards max from the front door to a green that goes directly to main lift at the base. Awesome woodburning stove with pinion wood stocked out front, rustic cabin. Can hear everyone in the house so don't book if you're trying to keep secrets but if you like who you're on vacation with it's no issue. Loved the cabin, super cozy, heated floors so you can watch it snow outside while you walk around in shorts and t shirt. Plenty of snow shoeing trails nearby, Golden Bear/Bavarian restaurants were great, just a short walk down the street to get to shops at the resort complex but far enough away from that you feel like your in a cabin away from everything. Wouldn't look anywhere else if this cabin is open for our next Toas ski trip.

Loved our stay at Denton cabin at Taos ski valley. Really nice after we figured out how to access the ski return right by the house. Relaxing house, loved cooking dinner for my family there and puzzling all night. Boys loved roaming around the snowy property.

Ideal location to explore everything Taos Ski Valley has to offer and more. The cabin is comfortable, quiet, and nicely equipped. The rustic nature of the cabin is refreshing amongst the current development occurring in the area.

The property is fantastic! The cabin is a short walk from the resort green trail down to the main lodge. The interior living space is open and awesome for socializing. The wood stove is fantastic after a day of skiing or snowboarding. The kitchen was well furnished for cooking all week.

Taos Ski Valley is a nice quiet family friendly place.
Great location on a quiet street with great neighbors. Across the river is a good ski trail to walk the family and dog!

It was not hard to find but you will need 4 wheel drive to get up the hill if the weather is bad. Almost to the top of the road, but no one was around. River is across the road, however it was raging while we were there. The area is just beautiful, the cabin is everything they say it is.

Great cabin in the woods near ski trail
We spent almost a week in this great original Taos Ski Village cabin. The location is a bit off the ski center but close to a ski trail. Unfortunately we could not ski this week due to the pandemic, but the cabin came with 2 sleds and we had a great time hiking and sledding nearby (e.g. the lift #4 was fun on a sled). Kim, the property manager was fantastic and came to check on us making sure we were all good during our stay. She even brought battery for my wife to continue to work from the cabin during a snow storm. Overall we are hoping to come back again and ski for real or even for the summer as we loved the small creek and surrounding forest.

Denton Cabin at Taos Ski Valley
Our family consisted of five adults and four kids (ages 5-11) and Denton cabin fit us perfectly! The cabin was very cozy, yet had plenty of sleeping space for everyone. The location was perfect and we loved our time there. We will definitely return for our next ski vacation.

Nice place for families
Two families of four enjoyed a long ski weekend here. The home was good for our group. The third bedroom with bunk beds was great for our kids. The kitchen is well-stocked with pans, utensils, etc. for cooking. The furniture is showing some age, but overall we enjoyed our stay and appreciate the opportunity. Thank you

Beautiful house in a beautiful location.
Great place to stay for the ski season. Access to the ski trail is right across the street and then you ski down to the base. Great kitchen and bedrooms. Once you hit the grocery store before leaving Taos, you have no reason to leave. Very friendly service from the support crew as well!

Perfect for Oktoberfest!
Three couples came for Oktoberfest. Location was perfect, we hiked to the Bavarian. Property was as described, and equipped with everything we needed. Beautiful setting. Easy check in/check out. Great communication. Beds could be a bit softer, but very minor concern. We had a great time! Would stay again.

Cabin for family reunion
The rental manager was very attentive and made sure our cabin had everything we needed for our family reunion. The cabin is more cute than the online listing! Bigger, more comfortable, and great views. We hope to come back!

Excellent home, location and service
This great cabin sits on a beautiful road, with an easy walk across the narrow street to the ski trail. We arrived in the great blizzard of '18, and were impressed with the service the property manager gave us, calling to check on us during our drive and giving us some tips, as well as almost daily drop ins. Know this, if you are coming in a blizzard, you must have 4 wheel drive low to make it up the mountain trail to the cabin itself, even with the excellent snow plow maintenance Taos provides. And when you do make it, there isn't really enough parking space for your heavy duty vehicle, but the neighbors were very gracious about it. As with the rest of the mountain, the mountain greens are a bit narrower, so a brand new skier will have difficulty with a ski-in, but it's an easy drive down the mountain to pick up. The fireplace provided amazing heat and comfort, and we loved how the kitchen was set up, right in the middle of everything. The only thing that could have been better besides the parking was that the living room didn't offer enough couch space for six grown adults to veg right in front of the TV, but there was plenty of room elsewhere. Great experience, would definitely rent again, especially with the managerial service we got!

NO AC, which was listed
We chose this place, in part because two listings listed it as having air conditioning. And only one window had a screen (kitchen). On Friday we took the advice to leave the door open, which proved exciting when the two chipmunks ran in! Kim fixed things up, but please adjust the listing.
The house and location were, after that, great. Very convenient. Private road. Quick to get to the upper lift, with dinner then at Bavarian.

Amazing log cabin, immaculately taken care of
Didn't know what to expect since GPS gets you lost, ha ha, but this is definitely one of the nicer cabins we have ever stayed in. It has everything you would ever need. The beds were awesome, quite, made for some great nights sleeping. If you ever want to experience what a real log cabin should like, this should be your choice.
