About this condo rental
Located in Wild Dunes, this attractive condo for $870 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. We are the new owners of this amazing second floor unit, in the desirable Shipwatch Villas. C-214 has some of the greatest views of the ocean in Shipwatch. Two of the three bathrooms have been completely remodeled at the end of 2023. The views from our balcony also include lush tropical landscape and a bit of the beautiful Shipwatch pool, the biggest and best pool in Wild Dunes. It's also a mineral pool. Each of the three bedrooms has it's own full bath! King beds in the master (Admiral's Suite) and first guest room (Captain's Quarters). Both a double bed and a twin bed are in the second guest room (First Mates' Room). There's also a pull out sofa in the sitting room. The spacious open living areas and bathrooms have beautiful tile flooring. In 12/2019, we replaced the carpet in the bedrooms with luxury vinyl tile. No questionable carpet! The kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless appliances, updated cabinets and bar seating. New microwave installed in 3/2021. New standard/convection/air fryer/dehydrator oven and refrigerator installed in 1/2022. The large patio is accessible from the living room and the master bedroom and is the perfect place to enjoy stunning sunrises. We purchased new comfy sectional patio furniture in the summer of 2019. We purchased new TVs for the entire place. The one in the sitting room is 50" HD 4K Smart TV. In addition to the nightly rate, a 10% South Carolina state and a 4% Charleston County tax will be added to your charges. There is a $250 Administration Fee, a $200 Cleaning Fee, and a $59 Damage Protection Insurance Premium to cover up to $1,500 accidental damage (or you can choose to pay a $1500 refundable damage deposit, if no damages). Great condo beachside for a family of 4 with grandparents. Bonus: Owner quickly resolved an issue at check-in, making a potential bad experience excellent. Would highly recommend for a long weekend or long term rental.

The condo met everyone's exoectations. It was the perfect spot to enjoy the quiet and serenity of the coast as well as all Charhas to offer. The owner was fantastic to communicate with and provided excellent information about the resort property and suggestions on restaurants and activities in the Charleston area.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in this condo. The Kitchen was well equipped and the whole property was well organized. The owner was easy to contact if/when needed and provided all sorts of useful information for the area.

Nice condo, very well maintained. Owners readily available when needed. Perfect for my family. With the pool and beach access close, it made it easy to navigate. Love the fact that it was gated which made me feel more secure.

Enjoyed the location in a "gated" community. This resort and all those around seemed well maintained and clean. Walking and biking was quiet and low traffic. We were able to bike as a family to a few dining places within minutes. Short day trips to the surrounding area was fairly effortless. The only slower traffic was on Palms Blvd around weekends. Charleston and other key places have a lot to do and we enjoyed sight seeing. We also enjoyed the beach days and the views from the back of the unit.

Lori was absolutely amazing. She was so communicative and the property was just gorgeous. It was only about a five minute walk to the beach with pool for us to get in after. only about a 30 to 40 minute drive to the city of Charleston, I would definitely stay here again. each room having their own bathroom was definitely an upside, you will not regret staying here.

This was the first time that we have stayed in Wild Dunes. The unit was all that we expected. It was very comfortable and the size was perfect. The amenities provided were as described in the description. Having the beach chairs and umbrella set up for us each day was a great perk. Communication with the owner was excellent. Had a great stay!

We had a wonderful family beach vacation at Wild Dunes/IOP! The Condo access was great . . . parking underneath the building(in the shade) with easy access to the elevator and luggage carts! The pool, beach, sand and bikes were all it took to make our granddaughters (8 & 12) VERY happy (plus the boogie boards we bought at nearby Costco). Lori provided lots of dining recommendations and other info . . . I had the most delicious scallops and risotto of my life at The Boathouse! The condo had everything we needed, plus a lovely beach view and balcony. Our weather was hot, as expected in July, but the ocean breeze was wonderful. A good time was had by all!!

We all loved staying here. It was a short walk to the beach. Perfect for a relaxing weekend. Lori, was fantastic throughout the process . I couldn’t recommend her more highly as an owner.
For planning purposes, be aware trying to secure Ubers or Lyfts can be difficult. If you don’t rent a car for your stay, you will need to plan ahead.

The host was super helpful from beginning to end of the rental process. The property was perfect for our family of five. A well-stocked kitchen, tasteful furnishings, and ideal location—near the elevator, mineral pool, and beach. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Very nice property with cute decor. Always love Shipwatch due to views and well-kept landscaping. Plenty of dishes and silverware. Overall clean but obviously previous renters left a lot of crumbs and food debris in most cabinets, which I thoroughly cleaned out. In addition, the last group who stayed put a large amount of dirty dishes/glasses/pots/silverware in cabinets and drawers, rather than making sure they were appropriately clean, as listed clearly in your property agreement. Needless to say, we ran all the dishes through the dishwasher and hand washed the pans, which was not the responsibility of your cleaning crew. I understand as a rental it is hard to monitor this but maybe the cleaning crew can check after each renter and inconsiderate guests contacted for additional charges for the extra work. Sorry to belabor this issue, when overall we were pleased staying in your condo.

This condo is perfect for a family vacation. We all had our own bathrooms which was very nice. The patio was perfect for getting a break from the sun while still enjoying the warm weather. It’s a quick easy walk to the beach and the pool was an added bonus.

Our stay was fine. Great view. Only concern was master bath shower. It was difficult to get in and out of with out hand rails. Also the dresser in master bedroom had a bar under the drawers with very thick dust. Just needs to be clean good.

Grand Family Time
The reason for our visit was to attend our niece's wedding. I found this condo for our family and loved the amenities. Our elderly mother was with us and the elevator was a must. The condo was absolutely perfect! It was welcoming and comfortable for each of us. We loved the ocean view and also enjoyed the pool. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Condo at Wild Dunes
Great Location, well appointed, spacious, clean, lots of sunlight and a short walk to the beach. Good views from the balcony with comfortable seating. Lori was very responsive and great to work with. She provided detailed information about the property and local restaurants. The only negative was the tall step up into the Master Shower and not safety bar-makes it a challenge for older folks. Overall was a great experience and would definitely stay there again!

We had a great time celebrating a few days after Christmas here with our adult children. Isle of Palms is beautiful and the location is perfect for golfing; spending time at the beach or visiting Charleston and the nearby islands. Our unit was a quick walk to the beach and it had a great balcony with comfortable seating offering nice views of the property and ocean. It was beautifully decorated and comfortable and it was well stocked with everything you might need. The owner Lori was also great to work with. Would definitely recommend the location and this property too!

Very nice property in a great spot
We had a great time celebrating a few days after Christmas here with our adult children.
