Situated in Taupo, this charming house for $169 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Outstanding 180 degree views from river to the lake with all the activities of the busy boat harbour in between. Never a dull moment but extremely private and quiet. Local swimming beach only 2 minute walk from Bach. 3 TV's. PLEASE NOTE: NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE: As per Kiwi Bach Tradition, LINEN is NOT SUPPLIED to help reduce your costs. However we can supply linen for $15 per person - please request if needed by "Ask Owner a Question" and will respond with an updated quote. Refer more below regarding this. INCLUDED IN PRICE: 4 people are included in the price. Additional persons are charged. Watch the bright lights of town at night or enjoy the 15 minute walk to town for shopping and the fantastic restaurants, Riverside Park and weekend markets. Hard to explain our bit of paradise so best read the 100's of feedback comments for impartial reviews of the Bach. Enjoy dinner or evening bbq on the deck taking in these spectacular views or just laze in the lounge recliners and watch the world go by. Spacious 3 bedroom , 2 bathroom Bach with all conveniences to make your stay comfortable. Free high speed WiFi available with Smart TV and Prime Video for entertainment. There is also additional TV's in both the Master and Queen bedrooms. Stereo has an IPod dock for charging and playing your own music. Fantastic heat pump and double glazing makes it cosy in winter. SPECIAL CONDITIONS: To help reduce costs for your holiday you can: 1. BRING YOUR OWN LINEN ie. Sheets, pillow cases, bath towels, flannels, t-towels, hand towel , bath mat. However if needed we can supply linen for $15 per person. Please request by "Ask Owner a Question" before booking and we will send quote including linen service. A cleaning service fee applies automatically to each booking. Check in 2pm and checkout by 11am. Can be changed if possible by request. 3 night minimum for long holiday weekends.

Our whole family loved staying here. It was spacious, warm and had great views. It was well equipped and was close to all that we needed. Prompt communication from the hosts was awesome! Would love to stay here again 😀

We loved our stay. On arrival the place was spotless and warm. Great sized rooms, expansive views and clearly really looked after. We loved the fantails visiting us on the deck and the quick walk into town. Looking to book again next year.

This house has amazing views of the lake. House was clean, beds were comfy and house size was good for us. Amazing views, would have been better if the weather was not raining the whole time. But overall, house was close to town and we would definitely stay here again.

Easy access, clear instructions. House smelt fresh, clean & was warm to arrive into. Comfy beds, great bathroom facilities, well stocked kitchen, good sized fridge/freezer. Enjoyed sitting at the table together & relaxing in the very comfortable sofa & chairs. We were warm & just loved the view. Thankfully the weather was perfect. We could easily walk into town centre. We were a group travelling for work and were going to be finishing super late on the Friday night, and leaving early Sunday morning. We were arriving a little earlier than the normal checking which was organised easy enough, along with the linen. Beautifully clean house, central location, beautiful view to wake up to. Thanks for a great stay and organising cleaners :)

View from the living room and deck was fantastic, enjoyed watching boats sail out from the river into Lake Taupo. Home was very clean and well equiped. Only caution is driveway is very steep, may be problem for low clearance cars. Overall enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend this home.

We all really enjoyed our time at the TH retreat. The location to Taupo Central was fantastic- especially since it was in close proximity to the concert we went to at Riverside Park. We enjoyed all the facilities at the accommodation and the awesome view. Geoff was really responsive to our queries which was much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic property- just the views alone makes you feel like you on holiday. Close to city and 2 minute walk to a good swim spot for adults and children. Amenities, building layout great. Building has a steep drive way so would be difficult (impossible) to park a caravan/ trailer on site. We would definitely stay here again and tried to book for next Christmas but we’re already to late.

Had a lovely stay. The amenities at the house was perfect for a home away from home. Everything we needed was there. Bbq was brilliant to use and easy to access. Drive was interesting but managed to nail it by the end of our stay 😊.

Really enjoyed our stay, clean, well set up, and great size rooms. We had a party of 4 so three bedrooms was perfect. Adding linen hire made our stay easy and effortless. Great deck for entertaining, and the view from the lounge was awesome. Definitely will be staying here again. A great stay, highly recommend.
