Exceptional

Our room was amazing, overlooking Lama Monachile. Very modern spacious room with easy access. Location was great, close to all the main areas and restaurants. Emio and Giuseppe were fantastic host, there suggestions on restaurants were spot on, they booked for us making sure we were on a good table. They helped with anything at all, taxi, tours etc. So friendly and welcoming. Spent 3 week in Italy this was by far the best place we stayed.

Superb

Room was a very unique experience. It was hidden away in a small, quiet, safe corner of the town center, away from cars and main foot traffic. The room is a converted underground cellar but with hip decor and lighting (especially in the bathroom area). What a fun and unique stay we had! The manager, Emio, was amazing. He really bent over backwards for us and showed us the best places to go in the area. And since we were checking out early before breakfast, he made sure to put pastries and juice in the room fridge so we wouldn't leave hungry.

The appartment has been the most stunning I have recently booked. The staff was extraordinarily nice, arranged for a boat trip (with a special skipper), booked restaurants, gave recommendation for coffee, parking,.. they were always to be reached by whats app and answered immediately and always nice. The apparment was better than expected. It was our last day of our vacation and this appartment made the vacation even better. the appartment was clean, air condition in every bed room and a huge terrase overlooking polignano and with a nice view of the sea. Whilst the appartment is in the middle of the historic center full with tourists, it was hidden in a small quite alley and the rooms and also the terasse was completely quite. Thanks again for this wonderful stay! we will certainly come back.

A wonderful experience we will not forget

What a little gem ! Emio was the perfect host and we cannot recommend this accommodation enough! Emio was friendly and so helpful by securing restaurant bookings, tours etc at very short notice for us and always with a smile. The rooms were cute clean and in a great location as well . The breakfast was fresh and plentiful and a great way to start our day.

Ideal place to stay in a magical town

During my search for a hotel in Polignano a Mare, Antico Mondo struck me as the best in town, and my stay left me even more convinced of this. The location was perfect, with our room looking out onto Lama Monachile Beach, the breakfast was generous, with ingredients that were always of a high quality, and the room itself was secure and gorgeous, with a unique shower-steam room. Most important, the customer service was second to none: Emio reached out weeks before the trip to make sure everything we wanted to do was arranged and answer all our questions. He organized activities for us that proved to be highlights of our holiday, and when bookings we'd made conflicted with the events he was putting on for us, he went to the trouble of rescheduling them himself for our convenience. Activities aside, his restaurant recommendations were fantastic, and he and his colleague Giuseppe were always informative when answering our questions about the town and Puglia. Thank you, Emio, for making our trip unforgettable ❤️

Perfect in every way

Stayed for 2 nights, the location in the old town was superb, the room was very comfortable, well equipped,had a balcony with a lovely view. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Our host Emio made our stay, he was the perfect host, he gave excellent advice on restaurants, and he booked them for us (they were superb in both quality and value for money), he organised a boat trip around the caves and organised car parking for us too. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel very welcome. I would highly recommend staying there and next time we return to Polignano, there is only one place i will stay. Thank you Emio :)

The staff are amazing. I think I got the warmest and most informative welcome I've ever had on arrival, nothing was too much trouble. A huge thank to all the staff at Antico Mondo. you are wonderful. we will be back.

The staff were amazing, When we checked in we were told everything about the area.

The view from our room was amazing, the bed was so comfortable and we were able to relax on the balcony after a big day of site seeing.

Beautiful rooms and exceptional location. Emio and the team went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay, assisting us with everything from car hire and parking to reservations and recommendations. I cannot recommend this place enough!

recommend to anyone wanting a central place with warm hospitality

the attentive, friendly and beautiful team that went out of their way to make my daughters birthday more special with decorations and most helpful advice and recommendations on places to go. always available to communicate. simply the best!

the stairs are a challenge with heavy suitcases, but that’s the price you pay when you don’t travel light and want to be right in the centre of the old town.

great vacation enhanced by Puglian hospitality!

Antico Mondo is located in the heart of the old town with spectacular view from the terrace. It is located right above the famous and most photographed Lama Monachile beach. Expect to be mesmerized with the views 24hours a day. my suite was very comfortable, super clean. The best part is however the hospitality provided by our host Emio. always withe the smile he handled sometimes impossible tasks like organizing last minute trips, reserving impossible to book restaurants. He even brought some plastic ties for my suitcase the very last minute!!!!! His enthusiasm and love for Puglia is contagious! he made our stay in Polignano unforgettable! Many thanks to Emio and his team of great friends! I strongly recommend Antico Mondo for your stay in Polignano a Mare. 💖💖💖💖💖💖

The hotel is decorated amazingly and it is exactly in the city center. the view is also great! the personal is very nice and accommodating, they even made reservations for us at the best restaurants and advised us where to visit and what transportation to use.

Overall, highly recommend Antico Mondo and Emio!

We stayed at Antico Mondo in Polignano e Mare for 3 nights. The rooms were very clean and cute, great shower, AC, and WiFi. Emio, the hotel manager, was extremely helpful and responsive via WhatsApp. He provided a lot of local knowledge about the area e.g. where the locals eat/drink and swim. He also helped us organize taxis/tuktuks to get around which is a little bit more confusing than expected, especially if you don’t speak Italian.

I stayed in one of the cave rooms and it was absolutely perfect - extremely cool, even in the heat of summer without the air conditioning on. no views, but only a short walk to absolutely everything. The staff were absolutely sensational and sooo helpful - they could arrange anything and everything for you, and always with a friendly smile!

We can't wait to return - we highly recommend Antico Mondo and wish we had booked a longer stay.

We absolutely loved our stay here - Antico Mondo is located in the perfect spot to explore Polignano a Mare as it is near lots of restaurants and shops and various look outs. Our room had a stunning view from a mini balcony and window that both overlooked the main beach as well as the ocean, which was so gorgeous to wake up to every day. Our room also came with a bath tub and shower with excellent water pressure. The hosts are so responsive and helpful - we had some minor issues with water temperature that were resolved by the hosts immediately despite initially being out of their control. We were able to make use of Antico Mondo's reserved parking lot, which also comes with a shuttle service to the room for your bags.

It was nice experince to stay in a room that has own small garden and door that has access to city . Their breakfast was amazing, there were variable local cheeses and fruits and they were really delicious. Room and facility was clean and comfortable.

The location is perfect, close to everywhere and more importantly it’s next to the beach which was less than 5 minutes. The room was very clean and people who were there made my trip much much better. especially Amio who was at the reception alway smiled to us helped with us to book a boat trip. So glad i stayed here! highly recommended!!!!

Allessia & Emio are perfect hosts

The location is perfect next door to main beach and old town. The room was tastefully decorated with a four poster bed, nice shower room and a balcony overlooking the Roman bridge. The best thing by far though was the service provided by Alessia and Emio, who were available on WhatsApp and couldn’t help us enough to book day beds at Fly, beach club at Cozze, transport, restaurants…pretty much anything they would arrange happily. We were contacted before arrival and Allessia met us as the road was closed at the weekend. She was so helpful and even carried on of the cases up the stairs to our room.
