The location is excellent. The view from the balcony is amazing (photo uploaded). The host was really nice and trying to help with any issue. This is the second time we stayed here, and wouldn't mind coming back. There is a restaurant (Konoba) in the ground floor with a delighting setting and tables under the trees overlooking the bay. The food was really good, fresh local sea food prepared on grill. The host gave us a discount as their guests.
Perhaps a bit dated, but value for money. No complaints.

The saving grace was it was all clean, the air con worked, and there was a big patio where we spent most of our time. It's location to the national park is only 5 mins away.
The bedrooms were very basic. At over £130/night per room I thought it was very expensive. We were upgraded to a 2 bed apartment with a kitchenette which was an improvement but the tap was broken on the sink. The cutlery was just flung into a cupboard, no drawers. Very basic utensils. Everything was shabby and falling apart. Poorly designed, so you had to duck under a cupboard to use the sink. In the end we just laughed about how crap it was.
There are definitely better properties for similar/less prices in the area.

Great location, low key stay

Perfectly located within easy walk to the park. Basic rooms with a bed, bath, and shower. No kitchen or living space. Kiko is very friendly. I would recommend taking advantage of his offer for dinner for guests - the most value for money for dinner we found. Salad, grilled meat (calamari, fish, pork, or steak), veggies and fries. Enough food we all left sated.
A fridge would have been helpful. Taps gave cooler water in morning and evening but mid-day even cold faucet was luke warm.

Great location on the sea front, with a sea view balcony.
Slightly dated interior but no trouble.

Fantastic location and seafront room with balcony. Large basic accomodation, great value. Great dinner in restaurant below from hosts. Quiet, comfortable stay
Could do with hook in bathroom.

We got upgraded to a room with a balcony which was really nice. We had a perfect view of the bay of Pomena and enjoyed sitting there. The owner and the staff were very friendly and we have felt welcome! The owner also has a little restaurant directly by the water with good and fresh food.
The guesthouse is nearby the small and the big lake as well as hiking trails and is easily accessable from the Harbour, especially with luggage.
The furniture is a little old which makes the room look dark. Since we had a balcony it was fine, But I don‘t know how comfortable rooms are without one. We occasionally found black hair on the floor which wasn‘t ours, so it could have been a little cleaner in general.

We had a lovely room with an exceptional view on the
lake. I would also definitely recommend eating at the
restaurant. The host served us very good fresh fish and
squid.

We had a super stay. We were upgraded to the mini apartment with kitchen so this was perfect for cooking.
The apartment is very well located, 2 min from supermarkets, 5 min from the main entrance for the park.
The hosts offers to cook grilled fish for dinner for 150 kuna.
Maybe a kettle in the kitchen would have been nice.

Within walking distance of Salt Lakes for swimming, restaurants and small supermarket. Lovely view over the harbour when large yachts weren't stacked in front of us
Cash only payment on arrival, it would have been good to know about this as it was nearly £600 which is a lot of cash! Same with restaurants, they did not take card, only cash. Mljet busy for summer, far too many large yachts docked in Pomena harbour, at least 20 including the 7 day party boats which are noisy. Despite this, still enjoyed our visit, especially swimming in the lakes.

Great location with a fantastic view on the harbour. 1st floor terrace with view. Very calm. Very well located in the centre of the village but also very close to the Lakes (10 minutes walk)
Simple and basic room, so don't expect huge comfort. But it is clean, convenient and good value for money.

The location (2 minutes walk from the port and the main entrace to the national park) and the view from the terrace its just perfect. You can enjoy the sunset seated in the chair. Staff and host are very friendly.
Need to be a little bit renovated, fridge in the room its needed expecially in summer and because most of the people are traveller. No card for payment accepted.

Great location, very nice host, comfortable.
Needs redecoration - we weren’t able to fully close the balcony doors, there were no blind fold curtains (a lot of light since 6 AM).

Close to everything, very pieceful and beautiful

Perfect location, owner very nice and helpful. The apartment was quite big, a/c worked well, and the balcony was lovely.
Room is very simple, which is fine, but could have been a bit cleaner -- for example the fridge inside wasn't that clean, and we found a sock under one of the beds

Great place, very clean, the hosts were incredible and very accommodating. Ivor will make dinner for you with fresh wood fired fish or steak- delicious! And you eat out under the olive trees next to the water for a very affordable prices. He also made us coffee for 15 kuna when no where else was open yet in the morning. Met us at check in and held our bags for us after checkout until we left. Amazing views from the second floor. Will definitely be returning!

Location ,near everything .
It is nothing to do with the property but be careful about the national park.We only stayed in Pomena for one night and hired bikes for a couple of hours. It seems wherever you go on them you are in the National Park and have to pay 150 kuna per person. Not a great deal of money but would of liked to been told when hiring the bikes. The ticket includes a boat ride and great scenery so ok if staying for a couple of days.

Great location, friendly hosts, very comfortable bed and the room was clean.
A bit pricey for the given facilities.

Location is the best you can have in Pomena. I it is a few meters from the sea and it is in the center where is everything you may need. Grocery, rent a car or bike..
It would be even better if there were more dishes, bowls and plates.

Location and view from balcony are fantastic (room 4). 15 min walk to Mljet National park, 5-10 minutes cycle.
AC works - we couldn't change settings on the remote but was fine for us
The outdoor seating restaurant looked nice; the owner said there was a grill for fish and meat for 120HRK/pp but we didn't go.
These are niggles that didn't affect my stay much but felt like they could easily be improved
Didn't actually know where to find the owner if we had problems - communicated via booking.com messages.
The owner came to fix a shower attachment on evening of our last night's stay (day 2), by which time we had already finished using it- the attachment to hang theshower head was broken, so we had to hold it ourselves. Just think it's something that could have been done from the start.
A plug socket was quite loose, flip bin lid was broken, handle to bathroom loose and no lock. No kettle in room (tap water tastes funny).
Owner could've been more helpful i.e. let us know taxis from Polace to Pomena are ~40hrk/pp, but he didn't know. He couldn't advise on price of bike rental in the area.
English abilities of the staff are limited. We were able to communicate with someone's daughter as we left who speaks perfect English.
WiFi was available but slow. Lots of things didn't load on my phone. Data roaming was a lot faster.
Husband stepped on a blonde hair in the room which wasn't ours - wore slippers thereafter.
The bed sheets were crisp - would've been nice for some conditioner but it seemed clean.

Very kind and familial guesthouse. Rooms and appartments were clean, little bit small but time is expended outside. It’s very close to natural park, in front of sea to swim and have a drink. Host was very helpful. We have two wonderful meal of fish cook (and fished) by host, very good, well furnished and not expansive.
Appartment better value than rooms.

Fantastic bathroom and balcony!! We really enjoyed the view of the harbour
The apartment was perfect for two people but would have been a squeeze for four
