Nada
Estaba sucio, el mobiliario era muy viejo, incómodo y descuidado, no había ni sillas. El fregadero estaba asqueroso, la nevera chica. El sofá ( ni nos sentamos ), había una puerta de acordeón que tapaba la cocina

The location. I stayed in the same apartments in the autumn of 2004, when I was looking for a house in the area. The location is still good, although the hotel which used to run the apartments, is now closed and there's an atmosphere of being abandoned.
The apartment is small, but you can find everything listed on the website by "name", obviously it's bought from the local cheap Chinese shop and it's of the worst posible quality. The shower was good...there was hot water....and the WC flushed well. Well, that was nice...
On this occasion it was hot, well up into in 40-ies C. There was a heat wave in all Spain. This is not unusual in Andalucia, yet there was no fan and no AC. There was a "sort of white contraption" which may have worked once upon a time, but didn't now.
When I asked the HOTEL ERA for a fan, they said the would see what they could do. NOTHING! Hotel Era must have a few fans they could add to the disgraceful inventory of this flat, surely!
I ended up borrowing a fan from a friend in Aracena when I discovered that they had not bothered to get one.
Everything is tired in the flat; I doubt that they have done any maintenance since it was built 40 years ago. The aparment looks like it's been furnished from a charity shop in a very deprived area. The flat is sparsely furnished and only to comply with Booking.com requirements, but without any thought of comfort for client staying there.
Frankly, I wouldn't recommend a stay here unless you are prepared to bring your own soft furnishings, pillows, towels, fan (or heater in the winter) as well as descent cups & crockery. I didn't try the hob nor did I watch TV, I just wanted to get away a.s.a.p. I say, spend a few more Euros and stay at a pleasant Spanish hotel or hostal, there are many in Aracena.

I know Aracena very well, The location of the apartment is very good and I was excited about staying in the centre after having stayed in the country on earlier occasions. Everything is within walking distance from the apartment and one can reach the streets from two different sides.
The apartment is well-equiped and has everything one would expect to find in a self-catering establishment and it is clean and tidy. The young woman I spoke to over the phone was very pleasant.
The apartment is clinical and inhospitable, lacking in comfort and style. Besides from a cheap-looking sofa covered in a red synthetic material (which sticks to you in the heat) located in the dining area, there are no soft furnishings. Even the curtains are made from synthetic material. The furniture is old fashioned, ugly and lacking in design. To me, everything looks as if it came from a car-boot sale.
There is no WiFi and no AC available. There is a very small cheap plastic fan in the closet that barely moves the air, let alone cools it! On my visit it was over 40C outside (which is common in the area in summer) and it remained at 32C in the bedroom at night although I had the windows wide open. Paired with the nylon-covered mattress and the brick-like pillows, it was incredibly uncomfortable. The apartment is ill-equipped for the extreme weather of the Sierra and little care or concern has been given to the paying guests who are staying there. This surprises me; given that the hosts pride themselves in running an upmarket hotel in the countryside as well as this apartment. I am sure that a little effort would go a long way in improving the apartment!

Nothing, we left a day early.
Difficult access steep slope and plenty of stairs not good if you have cases and are not fit. Pillows old cases worn so much had rips. Only one chair and no table for eating. Sofa very uncomfortable. Absolutely awful.
