Silloth holiday stay

Was excellent value for money & we had everything we needed for a week's stay. It's a ten minute walk to the town centre and the Stanwix holiday park where you can get day passes. The beach is also just a short trek over the golf course. There was no problem parking outside. Bev kindly introduced herself shortly after we arrived. The big OS maps of Cumbria in the hallway were an interesting touch.

The TV in the living room is in an alcove and could perhaps use repositioning.

Lovely little house

Was a lovely house, warm and clean with nice little touches throughout

There are 2 small issues one is the tiny sofas in main living room. Not big enough to get comfortable. I accept it is a small room but they are to narrow to get cosy. Also twin beds, we knew that was what we were getting but assumed we could link them together. Would benefit from one room being a double instead of two twins.

View from window of golf links appreciated. Rather heavy traffic during day. Very close to helpful pub. Parking at first awkward, then easier. Walking distance to Silloth. Well equipped kitchen

The property suited us really well. It was great to meet Bev in person. Would stay again for sure.

The location was ideal for us as we were visiting a relative in the Silloth Care Home. The kitchen was new and very well designed for a small galley kitchen.

A few more items in the kitchen would have been appreciated - for instance a tea pot, glass wine glasses (rather than plastic) and more dishes that could go into the oven.

A perfect house to feel at home in with parking directly outside.

The property was immaculate and styled well. The kitchen was very well equipped. The hosts were lovely and extremely accommodating.

Beautiful cottage.

It was spotless and very tidy, really couldn't be better & the lovely surprise of milk in the fridge & cake was very much appreciated. Thanks to all we had a lovely stay here.

I honestly couldn't find fault anywhere.

Our hostess was kindness itself!! Lovely lady who was also very helpful. (+Jammy doughnuts and milk as a welcome!) Cottage was spotless and very cosy. Good situation + lovely view of golf course from sitting room and an upstairs bedroom.

Loo downstairs. I suffer from a painful spinal condition & was an agonising struggle for loo trips during the night. Still badly suffering from the consequences. Though I knew about stairs thought once I was upstairs for the night would br ok - didn't know about loo! Would never have gone here had I known. Also no bedside light in either of the rooms although there were sockets behind the bedside tables. Large candles replaced the lights which we would not use under any circumstances for obvious reasons.
