Bright and welcoming 45 sq.mt one bedroom apartment with large living room, double bedroom and two balconies from which you can enjoy a small and quiet green area of the city. Located 3 minutes from the Perugia train station and served by numerous public transports, it is great for travelers visiting the city and also for those wishing to reach neighboring cities such as Assisi (22 '), Passignano sul Trasimeno (40') ), Foligno (40 '), Spoleto (55') and Gubbio (90 '). The apartment offers: - 1 large bedroom with private balcony and double bed (on request it is possible to request 2 separate single beds). - 1 bathroom with shower and direct air window. - 1 full kitchen with pots, dishes, plates, glasses and appliances - 1 large living room with dining area, sofa bed (double bed), TV and balcony overlooking a quiet green area of Perugia and from which you can admire the horizon overlooking the city. Moreover;: - wifi internet, - warm ups - kettle, - dishwasher - iron and ironing board - vacuum cleaner, - 32 "TV, - hairdryer, - washing machine, - Coffee machine (Lavazza), - toaster, -Tosta sandwich, - oven, - fridge, - microwave oven, - Towels, - Hand dryer for shower, - Sofa that can be opened into a double sofa bed with an optimal memory foam mattress for two more people, The bedroom has two single beds with memory foam mattresses and a comfortable wardrobe for the exclusive use of guests and is adjacent to the bathroom The apartment has 2 balconies: one in the bedroom and one in the living room, from which you can admire the panorama in pure relaxation. The car can be useful but it is not necessary, as it is possible to visit the city in complete autonomy using public transport or even on foot for the more lovers of walks. The apartment is located exactly 3 minutes walk from the central station of Perugia (Fontivegge) and it is therefore very easy to reach also neighboring Umbrian cities such as Assisi, Foligno, Spoleto, Gubbio and others in 20/40/60 minutes by train. The proximity to the station has no influence on the tranquility of the area, which is still very quiet. Considering the position of the apartment it is very easy to visit the city of Perugia with the local public transport as the bus lines for all directions are close to the station. Furthermore, it is also possible to take the minimetrò, which in any case I advise you to take a tour just out of curiosity as it is one of the peculiarities of Perugia (it is a small elevated subway)

Jacopo, who owns this apartment was most helpful and very friendly and he answered all our questions, so I feel slightly hesitant about saying anything negative about this property. However, I have been staying in VRBO properties since 2011 and so I feel qualified to make comments. First the pluses: the apartment is literally a few minutes walk from the main train station from where you can catch a bus to Central Perugia or a train to Assisi. To get to the historic centre is a very long uphill walk which we didn't attempt even though we walk everywhere, but there were escalators to help you on your way.
The apartment was on the 7th floor so had a nice view and the main balcony, although small, was big enough for us to sit out and eat at one of the small tables. The second balcony off the bedroom is tiny and overlooked by the next door apartment. The photo showing a double bed opposite the main balcony actually shows the view from the sofa bed in the living room. The washing machine was extremely useful and the bed was comfortable with quality sheets and towels. In the list of amenities, I overlooked the fact that there was no air conditioning.
We don't do any cooking on holiday, but most properties have all the crockery neatly stacked in the kitchen cupboards, whereas here, all the crockery was randomly put into the draining rack in a cupboard above the sink. Usually there is olive oil, vinegar and a few other items. Here there was nothing apart from two coffee capsules and one very old dish washer tablet.
Quite often there are guidebooks, maps, bus timetables of the area, restaurant recommendations but here there was no information for tourists.
The apartment was advertised for 4 people and yet there was 'an additional guest' fee for even the second person, which I felt was a bit misleading.
Although the place was clean, I just felt that it wasn't up to the standards of many VRBO properties in which I have stayed. The basic price as advertised is totally misleading, given what we paid for two of us. I have never come across an apartment allegedly sleeping four people where the price as advertised is for one person. This apartment sleeps two in a spacious bedroom but has a sofa bed in the living room.
