Nestled in Seguin, this charming house for $2,269 per night is a great choice for your next break. When you first arrive to High Bank Ranch you will immediately see why we are the destination for family get-togethers and Guadalupe river fun. The 2 house complex is laid out to capture outdoor activities along with the ability to sleep 22 people in comfy beds. You can begin your day with poolside coffee highlighted by the sound of waterfalls and a cool breeze. When the you are ready for more activity there is volleyball/badminton/ping pong/ yard games, kayaks, and pool. The day only gets better in the first class outdoor kitchen built in 2016 (gas grill, electric oven/stove, cocktail bar sink, fully stocked cookware and utensils, fridge, wine fridge and deep freezer), the aroma from the Pizza Oven, and the 70 in. TV in the outdoor living space will keep your guests happy. Plenty of room for our guests to spread out, large driveway, and privacy galore on 63 acres. An added bonus is a full hookup for RV and barn/pasture if you would like to bring your horses, trail riding, hiking and biking. Our property is situated on the Guadalupe River (Lake McQueeney section). The river here is not in the busy section so water floats are available for your use and we have 4 kayaks. Bring your fishing poles for Catfish and Bass. The 2 house complex includes 8 bedrooms (5 in main house & 3 in pool house), 5 full bathrooms (3 in main house & 2 in pool house), 1 outdoor shower, 2 hot tubs (1 in main house & 1 poolside), all linens/towels and cookware needed for your stay, Wi-Fi in both buildings and outside kitchen, 2 laundry rooms.

Susamme and High Bank Ranch have become a yearly retreat for friends and family. We view this property as a regular vacation home everyone looks forward to visiting yearly. It has the room and amenities for everyone, and Susanne has been excellent at helping us plan and stay at the property each year. I can't wait for our next visit!

We researched a lot of properties for our first Family Reunion before we chose High Bank Ranch. This property did not dissapoint and the layout was perfect for our group. A BIG plus was the location on the river. Kayak's, floats and live jackets were provided and if you didn't want to get in the river there is a beautiful pool and spa to enjoy. The outdoor kitchen/living area is amazing and we found ourselves spending a lot of time outdoors. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and we took advantage of the grill and the oven that was available. Big hits were also the ping pong table and air hockey along with badmitten and corn hole. We also enoyed the outdoor TV. Aside from all of that, the house is immaculate and everything was well thought out from all of the supplies provided down to small details such as bathtub toys and soap for the kids. The pool house is amazing and is definitely a plus. It provides three additional sleeping areas, another kitchen and a fantastic downstairs bathroom and outdoor shower. The main house is gorgeous with plenty of sleeping room for everyone and provides amazing living spaces. The decor is beautiful and you will feel pampered after staying at this property. Susanne was amazing and easy to communicate with. We had very few questions but when we did she was quick to respond. We will consider booking this property again for future events and thought it was almost too nice to be a rental!

Staying at High Bank Ranch was nothing short of amazing. The property is impecable with everything you may need for the stay. Communication with host was superb. We enjoyed the outdoor area the most. Perfect weekend getaway!

Have stayed here twice now. Once with family and kids and once with adults. This is officially our happy place- we wanted to move in and never leave! Every inch of the space is beautifully manicured and feels like paradise. There is no shortage of amenities from games to huge cooling fans, medial hookups and more to keep the fun rolling on. The sleeping quarters go above and beyond for comfort and privacy. We can’t wait to keep coming back.

This was one of the best stays we have had with our big family. Everything was incredibly clean and they were stocked with everything you could ever need for cooking, playing yards games, board games, chillin in the pool, or hanging out down in the river. The outdoor kitchen area is truly remarkable, that alone is worth it! The pool is perfect and was such a great way to relax in the evenings! You are right on the river with private access with a few steps down but totally worth it. They have kayaks and paddle boards and tubes and a nice, little beach to relax on. The location is perfect as well. You are REALLY close to NB yet not stuck so far in town that you deal with the summer traffic rush all of the time. It was an easy 15 minute drive to Schlitterbahn, Gruene, the Comal and only about 5 minutes to hop on 35 to take a little trip to Austin or San Antonio. We have already booked for next year :)

It was such a beautiful place. Very roomy, clean and had very thing you could need while away. The pool and volleyball court was a big hit. We will certainly go back.

This was our 2nd Cousins Getaway (now annual). The Guadalupe River Ranch House is absolutely perfect in every way. The homes are beautiful and fit our every need. Susanne, the host has been spot on with every communication and you can tell she wants everyone to have the best vacation getaway while at the property. We will definitely be back next year!

Our stay was amazing. This place was even better than advertised. Plenty of room for a large family to spread out as well as plenty of room to gather together. The outdoor area was perfect and the interior of the homes was impeccable. Highly recommend!

We have a family from all over Texas, Colorado, and California all come together in this one magnificent property. There was no reason to leave once you got there. We even tried to stay an extra amount of time but unfortunately it could not have been worked out. I have already told the owner that we will be scheduling another visit very soon and I have been telling my friends about this wonderful place also.

This was the perfect place for family and friends to be together prior to the wedding if our son. After the rehearsal dinner the groomsmen hung out at the outdoor patio kitchen, listened to music, and played ping pong, and enjoyed the hot tub. The day of the wedding the groomsmen hung out, relaxed, watched TV, played games, and had lunch together. It was the perfect place for the guys to be together. The experience would of been over the top if the weather was warmer and the pool and river could of been put to use. We know the host was not responsible for the weather. This VRBO is over the top and the host is very accommodating. We will be back.

We came back again for another family vacation! This location is fantastic no matter the time of year or weather. There is something for everyone to do, and there is really no need to leave if you bring food and drinks along. No complaints, only great memories. We can’t wait to all come back again in the future. After reading all of the fabulous reviews we couldn't wait to experience High Bank Ranch--and it did not disappoint. What in incredible property! It had everything we could hope for and more. Beautiful house, gorgeous pool and hot tub, spacious outdoor kitchen, equipment/supplies for numerous activities, and the Guadeloupe River! We had planned on eating out one night but never made it because we enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchens. There were even cows and horses so some city girls could experience a bit of country living.
Thank you to the hosts who were wonderfully responsive and accommodating. We can't wait to return!

Susanne came through for us again! 15 moms looking for a relaxing getaway and this place is everything it promises to be and more. We all had our own space, the gathering space indoor and outdoors was perfect for games & hanging out. Tons of parking. Multiple fridges. The pool and the hot tub were clean and warm. Being right on the water was so peaceful. Susanne has fantastic communication - we kept struggling to get the pizza oven and outdoor fireplace on (all of it our user errors!) and she was so quick to respond and even sent pictures to help us out. Bedding, towels, etc for everyone. We had the best, most relaxing mom weekend and we're already planning next year. This place is simply beautiful and the owner is wonderful - I'd give 10 stars if I could and I have 14 other moms who would agree with me!

Our family reunion was fabulous at High Bank Ranch! There were so many activities available that everyone aged 2 to 83 had fun. Highlights were the pool and hot tub, rope swing, kayaks, the outdoor kitchen and dining area, and the bunk room. There was always a quiet nook indoors or out if you wanted to get away from all the activity.
We also enjoyed watching the wildlife- horses, cows, deer, butterflies, birds, and a friendly frog. You can’t really see any other houses so you feel like you’re in your own world. It’s a very special place!
Everything was clean, well maintained, organized and fully stocked. Very good communication and easy check in/check out.

The High Bank Ranch is amazing!!!!!!! The property is astonishing, peaceful and breath taking. The amenities of the ranch are to die for. Susanne was extremely helpful and responsive!! We brought our staff of 16 here for a 2 night retreat and had a fabulous time! The outdoor kitchen/seating area is amazing and we spent most of our time here for meals and just to gather. There isn't as 'large' of a living area inside so we found this space to seat all of us nicely. Our team loved swinging off the tree swing into the river and lounging in the beautiful pool. Communication with Susanne was amazing -- she was quick to help and got back to me right away with any questions. We would definitely stay again in fact, team members were asking to book it for their departments retreats as well. So great stay!

Annual Family Vacation
For 5 years our family has been spending an extended weekend at High Bank Ranch. It is a great place that accommodates all of our needs. The outdoor kitchen and living space is perfect for family meals and playing games. The owner has thought of everything! It is always clean and well stocked with whatever kitchen utensils/cookware you might need to feed your group. The communication with the owner is great. Entire family loves this place.

I have stayed in many Condos and Houses over the year's but I have never stayed in one like this. They had everything we needed and much more. The only thing that we could have used was a wood BBQ pit, it would have been nice to do a brisket on day. What wonderful place hope to be back.

Incredible host and beautiful property - Great for large groups!
The house was huge, the pool was dreamy, the riverfront was perfect, and the pizza oven made one of the best pizzas I've ever had. We had 18 people at this house and we never felt cramped.
From the time I reserved the place to the time we left the property, the host was kind, responsive, and helpful. She was quick to get back to me and answer all my questions.

This house is very spacious and had plenty of private rooms and comfortable sleeping space. It is on a nice large property with donkeys, horses, & cows! Our group loved being able to see and pet the animals on the property. We also loved that we had lake access and that the property had kayaks we could use. Our group went kayaking up and down the river each day we were there! There were plenty of fun games to play, like air hockey, volleyball, Badminton, Jenga etc. This house is perfect for people who like to cook. The outdoor kitchen is incredible and even has a real pizza oven! The house had tons of kitchen supplies & gadgets, anything you could ever need. There are also plenty of grocery stores within close proximity of the property, which is very convenient. The master bedroom is beautiful and has a huge bathroom and amazing jetted bathtub. This property is absolutely amazing. We had a cousin reunion with 7 couples and High Bank Ranch was perfect for our get-away. The place is perfect and has something for everyone. We have decided to make this a yearly event and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else!

You’ve found it! This is exactly what you are looking for. I have stayed in many Vrbo’s, and never have had the pleasure of staying in one like this. This wonderful property gave my family unbelievable memories. The house and pool house are spacious and comfortable. In the middle of everything is a beautiful pool and jacuzzi where we lounged, played and chatted. There was so much space for our entire group to spread out. We enjoyed volleyball and badminton. We made pizza in the outdoor pizza oven. We cooked all of our meals in the spectacular outdoor kitchen while the cows and a donkey looked on. We fed carrots to the horses, and played in the kayaks and rope swing down on the river. Our young adults happily stayed up late outside on the comfy couches while watching sports on the huge outdoor tv. This house seemed to have every small appliance you could possibly need, as well as tons of dinnerware, knives, cutting boards etc. We found baskets of microwave popcorn as well as an abundance of bath towels and pool towels. The owner was fantastically responsive and answered all of our questions quickly. The only question we have left is…when will our family be going back?!!
