Situated in Chiclana de la Frontera, this lovely villa for $579 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Villa Aurora is a beautiful villa in secluded private gardens, minutes from the Barrosa beach and the wonderfull traditional town of Chiclana de la Frontera. When you stay with us you get that super beach vacation but at the same time you can enjoy all the splender of true Spanish culture. This villa is an ideal home from home for you and your family or multiple families with plenty of space for everyone. The villa is set amid pine trees in the quiet residential area of La Rana Verde. It has 5 double bedrooms and three bathrooms, including a master bedroom with en suite. Each bedroom has air conditioning. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor, which also gives greater comfort for families with young children, elderly parents or different couples who want some privacy. A further three bedrooms and two bath rooms are upstairs. The three bedrooms on the first floor have patio doors leading to the terrace with views of the garden. The villa has a brand new and extended kitchen with a dining area. It has all the equipment needed. The kitchen has large patio doors opening up to the covered terrace with comfy seating in the shade. Downstairs, off the lounge are two bedrooms; one with twin beds and the other a double bed. There is a family bathroom. The handrails installed on the wall above the bath to help you get in and out making it ideal for elderly or infirm. The living room has a large log burner. It has English Tv, netflix plus Spanish TV. We have free internet access by wifi. In the garden is a larger than average 10 x 5 meter swimming pool with Roman steps to enter easily (a must for small children or the less able) surrounding the pool is a large area with loungers for the all Important tan! The garden is enclosed by a high wall and has an electric gate. We also have a ping pong table (great for entertaining smaller and bigger, children or a little to keep fit) On the lawn there is a table and chairs decorated with Spanish stone barbecue, perfect for alfresco dining. We also have a spacious covered porch with comfortable seating, perfect for relaxing with a glass of sangria or beer. Here, there is another dining area which seats 10, for those who prefer to eat in the shade. We are 6 minutes' drive from the beach, which means you can enjoy all the pleasures of the beach, but without the noise when you just want to relax in your own garden. There are 3 supermarkets in the same street, including Lidl and Mercadona. There are several bars and Spanish restaurants and a pharmacy nearby. We have beds for 10 people plus two cot-beds for babies. We have also updated all the windows which have persianas ( a must for families with children as they block out the noise and sunlight, hopefully keeping them asleep for longer 👍) Available for 5 days or more, or a minimum of €1300 .

We loved the villa and our brief get away with friends this October half term.
The owners were so supportive.
The villa was superb- spacious, beautify cleaned, offering all amenities you need when in holidays. We were able to use the pool despite a bit temperamental weather at times .
Overall impression- fabulous space for a truly relaxing holidays.
We recommend to visit Cadiz and Seville! The only small disadvantage of the place was the location - hire a car to be able to get the most of your stay.

La semana que hemos pasado ha sido muy buena. La casa tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos días tranquilos y cómodos. La limpieza de la casa era muy buena. Para nosotros (viajábamos con niños) la piscina, el jardín y el porche con los sofás han sido lo que más hemos utilizados. Greg y Jan nos han ayudado cuando lo hemos necesitado. Para repetir la próxima vez que vayamos por la zona

Wij hebben een heerlijk vakantie gehad in deze prachtige villa. De villa is van alle gemakken voorzien en beschikt over een prachtige buitenruimte met groot zwembad. De host is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Een absolute aanrader.

Thanks so much to Jan and her husband, all was perfect, we enjoyed so much our vacation, great value for the money. The garden is beautiful, the villa is big and has ebverything you need. At our arrival everything was super clean, specially the pool which is big and the water at the pool is amazing ( extremely clean and very nice temperature, not cold at all). Communication with the owners is the best, super nice and welcoming people who do everything in their hands to make you feel at home.We spent two weeks with friends and toddlers and babies at their place. Una semana fantástica
En un año extraño y en el que necesitábamos un buen lugar en el que permanecer con comodidad... cumplió nuestras expectativas absolutamente. Las zonas exteriores y la piscina son magníficas. La casa está muy bien. La zona es lo que es, residencial, pero bien conectada con playas y otros lugares.

Hemos estado alojados durante una semana em agosto de 2020. La casa es muy bonita y la descripcion se adapta a la realidad. Resaltar las comodidades que ofrece la casa con un jardin precioso y una piscina grande y todo muy cuidado. Gregg y Jan son unos prefectos anfitriones preocupandose en todo momento por nuestro bien estar. Viven cerca pero la verdad es que todo funciono perfectamente y no mecesitamos en ningun momento ayuda. Volveriamos sin duda a repetir.

La villa estaba muy limpia, la piscina es muy grande y el agua está limpia y caliente, además da el sol todo el día. La casa es grande y fresquita, hay 5 habitaciones pero no son muy grandes, las de dos camas se quedan pequeñas y los colchones no son muy buenos. La cocina está muy bien equipada(habria que cambiar la tostadora) y la barbacoa también está genial, limpia y cómoda. Se puede guardar el coche dentro y hay supermecardos a 3min en coche. Para ir a la playa son unos 15min en coche. Los propietarios son muy majos y atentos. Repetiriamos sin duda.

Hemos pasado unos días estupendos. La casa tiene absolutamente de todo, menaje, wifi, juegos de mesa , una mesa de ping pong en el jardin. La casa super limpia al igual que la piscina. Me quedo con las veladas en el porche. Los propietarios un encanto. Seguro que volveremos.

La casa está fenomenal, muy amplia y cuidada. Los dueños muy amables y atentos para solucionar cualquier problema. Viven cerca así es que solucionan cualquier cosa rápidamente.
Tuvimos algún problema con la caldera, quizás tengan que revisarla porque parece que se apaga y se enciende constantemente.

We spent two nice weeks in the Villa Aurora of Jan and Greg Simmons.
The house is very well equipped with all things you need. The rooms are all with atmosphere and tasty.
There is enough space in the cupboards.
Most of the time we spent in the gorgeous garden with big palm trees and lovely pines.
You can sit and relax or take your meals outside in the shade under the huge balcony of the second floor.
You can feel free to do whatever you want as nobody can look inside the garden, there are walls around the entire property.
But the best is the big and clean pool. We spent a lot of time in it or we enjoyed playing table tennis.
A car is very helpful, to the beach it takes 5-10 minutes. The beaches are nice and clean.
Cádiz and Conil are worth to make a visit.
Jan and Greg are very nice hosts and we’re looking forward to see them again!!

Amazing Holiday
Very warm and friendly welcome from the owners on arrival, Greg & Jan, helpful an informative about the area. The villa was exactly as advertised and for us a perfect location for our needs, close to the beach (Barossa, 10min drive), easy access back to Jerez for the MotoGP. Slightly remote in terms of nightlife/party scene, but for us it was perfect as we were there to relax and enjoy the villa with MotoGp at the end of our stay. Very traditional Spanish area, not a lot/barely any English speaking locals, so be prepared to polish up on your Spanish before you go. Property was clean and well maintained, albeit a little dated. However, it was not advertised as a 'luxury villa' so we were not disappointed at all, it had a very "home from home" feel and we were very happy during our stay. It was also very well equipped in the kitchen and had plenty of spare towels/blankets etc....Greg and Jan also kindly put up a stair gate, cot and highchair for us, which was extremely helpful as we had a baby with us. Excellent space inside and out, lovely private garden area with plenty of sun and shaded areas and the pool was fantastic, the kids barely got out the whole 10 days we were there. Overall a lovely villa/area and we would definitely recommend and go back again.
We made a trip to Cadiz one day, it was beautiful, although VERY busy even out of season, so go early and stay for the day. The beach there was quite dirty with lots of rubbish/glass around, so be careful, although plenty to see outside of the beach.

Large well equiped villa with perfect pool and garden; lovely region
What a fabulous area - we'll come back. Apart from Jan and Greg, everyone else we came into contact with or overheard in the region was Spanish.
The villa is large (photos don't do it justice) and a great kitchen with space for many hands to help. The pool and the garden were fantastic. Room for games; plenty of shade for early morning Pilates and mid-afternoon exercises for the young adults. The table tennis table was a huge hit and the pool was big enough for leisurely swimming and lots of games.
Inside the house is nice and cool with aircon everywhere. The showers were not great - a bit difficult to control and water pressure an issue but in the scheme of things entirely manageable.
Good TV - we were able to have 10 person world cup football binges.
Car needed to get around but everywhere worth visiting: Barossa beach, Sancti Petri, Cadiz, Jerez, Conil de la Frontera were all great but our favorites were: Vejer de la Frontera for evening sunset and lovely food and Los Canos de Meca (enterprising young men selling mojitos on the beach, swimming out to rocky outcrops, relaxed ex hippy beach area with cool bar/DJ/ dinner overlooking the sea).
A perfect location for a holiday of 4 adults, 4 young adults and 2 teenagers.
Really big thank you to Jan and Greg who made sure everything was perfect (including finding a boat that was big enough to take us all out fishing)

3 families take a summer break
Lovely holiday had by all in Chiclana.
We were really pleasantly surprised by how Spanish the area is - 99% - so don't expect English speaking to be the norm. Good food and drink locally is plentiful and cheap with sea food exceptionally good value. However best to get quickly into the Spanish timekeeping - stay up late, eat late (9pm or after) and generally take things at a relaxed pace or you will be on your own. Local beaches are a 10 min drive and fab . Parking can be challenging but once you know the area and get your timing right (12ish for Barosa beach) then it's fine. The villa itself hasn't really got anything much around it so a car is essential. Supermarkets plentiful , local and open late. Cadiz is lovely and 30 mins away. Also recommend Jerez and Tarifa (whale and dolphin watching great)
The villa is spacious and most importantly has a great pool and outside area which we enjoyed immensely. Thoughtful planting in the garden gives shade or sun all day as you wish. We played lots of table tennis and boule, all provided.
Inside the house is nice with aircon everywhere. However a couple of things to note. The third double bedroom is very small - wondered by not bunks or singles. Also the showers can only be used in isolation - you get hot or cold if anyone else is in. Other than that everything was fine, broadband and TV great with English sports channels as a bonus.
5* holiday, only reason giving 4* is that it's not a luxurious as some. However it is superb value for money. Jan and Gregg are extremely pleasant, accommodating and helpful with any issues we had.

Superb and private holiday villa.
This is a fabulous villa with south facing garden and pool. Smashing barbecue area as well as a great kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Jan and Greg were great at giving us any information we needed and couldn't have been any more helpful.
The sun-trap garden and pool are completely private and not overlooked. There was useful beach equipment available and the ping pong table was the surprise hit of the holiday.

Gorgeous villa in beautiful part of Spain
Had an amazing holiday at the villa. The house was very clean and garden was well maintained with a good mixture of shady areas and sunny patches. The outdoor eating areas were great with 2 different places to eat outside and plenty of room for the 8 of us. The owners were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. We needed medical help during the holiday and Greg and Jan helped us sort this. Plenty of places to explore by car from the villa and the nearby beaches were fantastic especially for rock pooling! I think we'll be back!

Great Villa with big pool and close to beach
Villa Aurora was extremely good for our group. We had two families, 4 adults and 3 kids. There was plenty of room and the pool was absolutely nice! We were able to enjoy the sun, swim, BBQ and just relax. You could find anything you need from the villa.
The location was also very nice and we visited the beach and nearby villages and cities. The LaBarossa beach is quite near and it extremely nice! I definitely would recommend this villa!
The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was that the showers. Even there was 3 bathrooms, only one person at the time could take the shower (because of the heating system and water pressure). It took some time to wait 7 persons to get ready for dinner :)
