Designed exclusively to be enjoyed by short term renters. I strive to give you the amenities of a fine hotel but with the space and privacy of home. As an experienced host with perfect reviews, I pride myself on providing the comfort, cleanliness, and lots of extra touches to make your stay comfortable and hassle free. I thought of every detail and have fully equipped the house/kitchen including fully stocked coffee bar, premium crisp white linens, oversized plush towels, robust WiFi to power everyone's devices, Cable TV with premium sports package, laundry facilities and supplies, luggage racks, hair dryers, bedside plugs, etc., etc., Just pack as you would for a hotel and leave the rest to me! Relax in the comfortable seating area on the deck or around the gas fire-pit in the private fenced backyard as you enjoy a glass of wine listening to the ND church bells or band in the background. Just a short walk to the Eddy Street Commons and ND campus, this location is hard to beat! The Eddy Street Commons retail and dining district features several bars, restaurants, and shops including the Notre Dame Bookstore and a 24hr Seven Eleven store. The Harter Heights neighborhood is the highly sought-after neighborhood closest to the Notre Dame campus and within walking distance to Eddy Street Commons, Downtown South Bend, Memorial Hospital, walking paths, St. Joseph River and white water raceway. I have been committed to extreme cleanliness since long before COVID-19. I pride myself on it! The home is thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, checked and reset between each guest by a consistent professional team. I use all white linens and have them commercially cleaned and sanitized. I use contact-less self check-in/out and have a buffer in the schedule between guests. Hand sanitizer and other cleaning products are offered on site. Help the homeless by staying here! For every booking, I sponsor a guest at the South Bend Center for the Homeless. Stay in a great home while also helping someone in dire need. Check-in and check-out times can usually be flexible with advance notice.

We are 1968 grads for University of Notre Dame. It was reunion weekend. There were 6 of us. The home was just perfect. Everyone had a comfortable and private bedroom. There were plenty of bathrooms. The public spaces were attractive, comfortable and easy to access. We all loved the patio for sitting out in the evening. The owner was very responsive. We had a minor issue with a lock on the patio door. He had a handy man there within hours to fix it.

4 of us adults had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this property for commencement weekend. The home had everything we needed, for the 4 days (including washer, dryer, iron & ironing board); we could come and go with ease. Nice to come back to after the various ceremonies on campus and have a full 'house', not simply hotel rooms. Would have been nice to have a driveway, but our (unexpectedly large) rental SUV was perfectly fine at the curb. The beds were comfortable! thank you for a nice stay.

My friends and I (all 50+ college friends) had a great weekend in South Bend for the ND / Stanford game - despite the loss:) The house is exactly as I expected it to be and for 7 guys we were able to get everyone their own bed - I took the fouton next to the living room which was comfortable and private. The coffee bar is a godsend, and the kitchen is good. We used the cooler from the basement for our drinks and turned on the gas firepit a bit during the weekend. The house was clean and the checkout process was easy. Couple of things that I would point out to the owner: you could used a light on the back deck. We were out there BBQing after dark and there is really no light other that the light shining outside from the kitchen. Secondly, there were no products like aluminum foil or storage bags for food. I ran out and got them but they would have been helpful. Otherwise, while rather expensive for 2 night (granted, everything is expensive on game weekends), it was a fantastic weekend.

We had a wonderful weekend! The property was spotless and spacious for our group of 7 adults. It was within walking distance to campus - ideal for a football weekend. After the game we enjoyed the evening outside on the deck. We leave with great memories.

We had a wedding in South Bend and rented this location for the weekend with my husband and his siblings. While a short stay, the location was great. The home itself was clean and safe. Overall, it was a great experience and when visiting in the future, we would stay again.

Super house for a football weekend! We walked to the stadium which was a definite advantage. The property was well stocked with everything needed, even laundry supplies. Attractive Irish decor and extremely clean.

This was a perfect house and location for the hectic and meaningful experience of dropping our son at college. So nice to have a retreat slightly removed from but very proximate to campus for logistical management and emotional recovery over the course of the weekend. Bill was very responsive and helpful and made sure the house was stocked with plenty of tissues! The first of many visits!!!

We rented two of Bill's houses, a block apart, for a family reunion. Both homes were clean, well-equipped, and in a great location close to campus and downtown. We'd definitely stay there again for a future visit. Bill's very responsive and easy to work with.

This place looks rather plain on the outside but inside is a different story. The wooden floors and wood mouldings really give it an Arts and Crafts feel. We're originally from South Bend so we had friends over and they loved the house. Nice deck with plenty of seating and a good grill. Bedrooms and bathrooms were all nice. There's 2 things I really appreciate when I rent -- adequate supplies and not a ton of rules. Most of the staples for cooking were there along with laundry supplies and plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. My favorite thing was we didn't have to strip the beds and put the linens in the wash. That's really a time saver when you have an early flight.

This cute and comfortable house was everything we'd hoped it would be (clean, well-stocked, plenty of sleeping/relaxing options). Bill was always quick to respond to a text or email, and very flexible with check-in/check-out (made easy with unique key code). Kitchen was perfect for making our own meals. Everyone loved the convenience of the Keurig for coffee and tea. Wonderful accommodations for a memorable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay! Really nice accommodations, great location and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Many thanks to Bill who worked with us to honor our booking even though it was supposed to be for the 2020 season. Covid squashed our plans but Bill let us move it to the USC weekend in 2021 so thank you, Bill! I highly recommend this property.

Bill's house is the perfect place for a big group to call home base for a stay near Notre Dame. Centrally located between campus and South Bend, its easy to get around town. The house has everything you need to host; we appreciated the Keurig coffee maker :) We look forward to using this property again during football season!

5 friends went on a road trip for a ND football game. It was a first time experience for 3 of the guys. The house was great and we walked to the game and Eddy Street with ease. Great time for everyone. Fire pit was a great place to review the past day and plan the next.

The house was clean and a decent proximity to ND and the host communication was always prompt. The host provides a very detailed book for things to do in the city and instructions on how to maintain the home. However the location warranted some caution for safety. The ac also doesn’t function upstairs so this is not a good VRBO for the summer heat as it gets pretty warm and uncomfortable especially at night and most of the available sleeping is on this level. The basement is nicely updated as well.
