Hotel mit Retrotouch, günstig für Biennale Besuch

Lage auf dem Lido und nahe zum Wasserbus ist gut für Biennale Besuch. Der Preis bei sehr gutem Frühstück und geräumigen Zimmer konkurrenzstark. Bei Wärme wahlweise Frühstück im GArten - ist längst nciht überall gegeben, schon gar nicht in Venedig. Lido Kneipen sind durchaus ok und oft günstiger als die nahe Markusplatz.

Stilistisch wirkt alles etwas Retro. TV war nicht einsetzbar. Wer weniger die Biennale als das Stadtgebiet erleben will, liegt etwas daneben. Vom "Strand" sollte man nichts erwarten, obwohl hier wohl in der Hochsaison auch die "Millionen über den Schotter toben".

The hotel offers a good breakfast and is close to the boat station

Though we arrived earlier than check in time, the room was already ready. Also the hotel kindly offers free luggage stored if you want to enjoy more of the town on the last day. The street is very quiet & peaceful, the hotel is just about 10 min walk from the boat service. Good breakfast, try the black plumes, they are better that they look, my breakfast highlight.

The bathroom sett up is uncomfortable for elderly people and even for me. Seems like hotel is pretty old and needs to be refreshed. Overpriced for this type of accommodation. Have stayed in a better price & quality in Lido.

Loved it.

A delightful hotel, five minutes' walk from the ferry station and many restaurants and cafes within a few minutes' walk. Friendly helpful staff a simple nice breakfast and characterful comfortable rooms.

A bit hot and apparently a month too early for the aircon to be turned on!

A boutique hotel in an apartment sort of setting.

Location, ambience, breakfast and hospitality were perfect. Birds waking you up to a good breakfast spread with a great sitting in garden area made the mornings wonderful. The staff at the reception are very cordial and helpful. The location of the place is just a five minute walk from the main bus and ferry station. The rooms are nice and recently equipped to make the stay comfortable.

As is the case with most European hotels, the rooms were small. Not enough space to open large size suitcases. Other than that, I strongly recommend this hotel.

Top value and service at Lido

Quiet location set on a residential street a stones throw from Lido vaporetto stops. Clean comfortable room and hotel facilities, great breakfast with variety of continental options, pastries, cereals, yogurts and fruits, choice of coffees, teas and juices. Comfortable bed and clean linens. Good water pressure, plenty enough towels. Tea making facilities and a mini fridge. Even a little Juliette balcony to sit and relax by the open doors. The staff were great - professional, welcoming and helpful - Selina in particular who helped advise logistics for checking out. I had to check out early and they prepared a 'to go' breakfast- much appreciated. Would definitely book again to stay in Lido. Thanks to the whole team at Rigel.

The hairdryer in room 105 needs replacing. Luckily I didn't need to use it, but I'd consider it dangerous if used. Decor a little tired in places but for the room rate the overall package represents excellent value.

The location, within a comfortable ten minute walk to the vaporetto station and bus routes. The reception staff, 24 hour, without exception were most helpful and knowledgeable of local amenities. The breakfast selection was wide and those organising and serving, were constantly replenishing. Nothing was too much trouble.

The day after leaving I am struggling to come up with anything to add under this heading

Lovely hotel, friendly staff

The staff were very friendly, and really helpful. It was mostly quiet, so we slept well. The room next to us were making noise quite late and the reception dealt with it really fast. The breakfast was also pretty nice, Venice is really expensive so it kept us going until dinner!

The walls are a bit thin so if you have loud guests next to you, you'll find it hard to sleep. This was dealt with for us very fast.

Perfect location, nice staff, great breakfast

Very cozy, clean, organised. It's a nice old hotel, with some good things refurbished and others, luckily, not :)

Probably only thing was the mattress, but I'm a difficult sleeper without a proper mattress.

Peaceful and comfortable, off the main roads but close to downtown

There is a very friendly and helpful staff at the hotel. Even though check-out was at 10:30 a.m., I was able to work in the hotel lobby all day until 6 p.m. using the free WiFi and sitting comfortably and undisturbed in a quiet and comfortable space. When the staff saw me working at the computer for several hours, they often asked if I would like a coffee.
