Welcoming friendly staff

Staff were welcoming and friendly, especially reception and bar staff.

There was a wedding on and there wasn't enough staff to compensate for this. So much so, we had to go to Homeview Farm for drinks instead.. However, once we arrived back at the hotel, there were fewer people in the bar, and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

Breakfast 🙂 The welcoming and friendly nature of all the staff we had contact with. 👍🙂

A couple of small issues in the room which after our comments to reception they were rectified. The comments were constructive and not a criticism.

Wish I could’ve stayed longer

Hotel is beautiful and so are the rooms. Had a peak into the bridal room, Omg it is stunning. Highlight was Ryan who worked behind the bar, that man needs a pay rise! also breakfast, amazing!

All staff members were polite and helpful. We were both very pleased with our stay

Breakfast was excellent and good value for money. The guy serving us was exceptional. The room was spacious and clean. We didn't have dinner but used the bar facilities upon our arrival

I didn't like that I could only stop one night.

I was quoted £ 111.00 but if I paid right away I'd get a discount then another of £7.25 both times but had to pay £103 . My bill should've been £97.00 not a happy chappie then told I had to pay for breakfast but when booking for told B/ F was included???

Exceptional

Despite booking.com making an error with this booking and putting us in a single room reception we’re really helpful and fixed the problem. Given it was Hogmanay and there were two parties on that night I really didn’t think we were going to get another room - however the hotel went above and beyond offering an alternative accommodation that was really unexpected. Really appreciated and have to say that the reception team are fantastic, friendly and despite the place being really busy spent time with everyone who arrived - probably the best experience we have encountered and we stay in many hotels - it was an 11/10 score ! Rooms were immaculate, breakfast very good and the staff are all well presented / friendly and clearly take pride in the hotel / working there.

Great wedding & function venue, with wonderful staff.

Beautifully refurbished, immaculate rooms & luxury bathrooms. Great function rooms, bars & lounge. Brilliant catering for my coeliac husband with the best hotel breakfast he’s ever had.

Kirkcaldy isn’t really a holiday destination! But for weddings & functions it’s great. Only thing that would add to its attraction is a pool & spa.

lovely hotel in a really quiet location. Hidden gem

lovely place to stay

there was a loud fan outside of the room but this is our second stay and didn’t have this last time so was maybe just where we were placed. didn’t overly bother us but it was noticeable.

Disappointing

Room directly above function suite. Very noisy. Television volume was stuck on a low volume so couldn't hear the TV. We booked last minute as needed a break away. Should have been advised at time of booking of potential noise and we would have gone elsewhere. Complained and we did get moved but left a bad feeling as I don't like to complain

An exceptional hotel that more than met my expectations. Very romantic hotel

I found this hotel more that met my expectations. Check in was smooth, hospitality was great. This hotel is exceptionally clean, food is good, and the Diamond Suite is also exceptional. I really enjoyed my stay. The Jacuzzi Spa bath is a real treat and a pleasure to use. Will definitely return.

The room was perfect but at night 2am onwards, I could hear this knocking noise which came at intervals of 20 sec to every 2 min. After a while it really gets to you, but I chose to ignore it. I must find out what this is when I next visit.

Nice enough but noisy

Room was nice enough. Clean and well equipped with TV, mini fridge, tea making facilities and toiletries.

This is the second time we've stayed here, and the second time we've requested a 'quiet room'. On arrival they said that we had been put in a room "away from any possible disturbance from the weekend's events", this was not so. Our room was in an area off to the side of the Hotel (behind the bar area), but between staff being noisy going about their jobs and the other guests shouting and banging about the hallway/rooms/doorways...we didn't get much sleep.
