Spacious bathroom. Large Comfy Beds. Lovely Views. Friendly Host.
At night the noise made by possums (or rats) in the ceiling kept us awake. When entering the cottage (number 3) we could smell cat pee (or possum pee).
Recommendation: Large/taller glass tumblers. A small bbq on the verandah.

Location was relaxing and peaceful. Chalet was clean. Beds were comfortable. Hosts were friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful guiet peaceful place to stay, surrounded by trees and wildlife. The chalet was well set up for kids with a bunch of board games, kids DVD'S etc. The owner even bought over a colouring book and pencils for our daughter!
The place was very clean, with all necessities provided. The beds were super comfortable and all linen was so cosy - the bedrooms were very dark as well. So we all slept very well.

Love, love this corner of the world! And this is my second stay at Hawke Brooke Chalets. The cabins are clean, cosy and comfortable. The fire place keeps you warm on cool nights. Undercover parking adjacent to cabin. Main bed super comfortable. Kitchen has all the necessities for cooking your own meals (recommended). Back verandah overlooking lake is the perfect way to end a day of bushwalking in the forests. Kirsty was super flexible with arranging a late check in. Telstra signal available - variable between 2 and 4 bars.

Lots of games and movies since there wasn't any wifi or phone service (Optus) and a heated blanket on the bed which was great on the cold nights! The fireplace and wood provided were fantastic during the winter
It doesn't have anything to do with the accommodation but the road out to the accommodation can be rough with potholes during heavy rain ( fine if you are in a 4WD) but there wasn't anything they could do about the weather obviously

Very good chalet . Comfortable and warm & cozzy with fire heater . Very pleasent stay . Very warm bedding . Very helpful and kindly lit our fire for us for pur atrival . Highly recomend . Just the baby issue hopefully will be reconsidered .
The only thing i didnt like or agree with . The fact they charge $ 60 fot a baby , its not a good practice . Using one extra towel . No more extra water was used . When the same water in a shower ,with mum not extra water as suggested by the staff . Id reconsider this charging for future familys .

.Quiet and peaceful, excellent scenery and nature. Very good place to relax and unwind. Friendly and excellent service from both kristie and Paul. Property maintained very well.
Would have preferred additional pillows, as there were only 2 pillows in the master bedroom. Access route to the property was a bit rough. Both our Vodafone and Optus mobile did not work, due to poor connection. Would have been good, if adviced earlier, and we would have got a Telstra pre paid mobile, just to keep in touch in as of emergency. Only have DVD facilities, would be good to have at least local channels, or WIFi Access
