The hotel is quiet and confortable in a very pleasant location. The swimming pool is very nice and well mantained. The breakfast is extremely well prepared and delicious. Hotel is less than 10 min car from center of Óbidos. You can visit the medieval town, have dinner and return to Paradise.

Convenient location, walk to castle entrance was easy and about 15mins away then windy street to castle entrance. No steps unless you plan to walk around the walls
As you can see it is an old property but has most of what you need.

Everything was perfect: beautiful house, beautiful rooms decorated with taste. The whole building smelt good.
The breakfast was fantastic, everything was fresh. The staff super friendly.
The pool area was clean and quiet. We loved the billiard room.
The house is a 10min walk from Obidos; very practical as you do not need to take the car to the village.

breakfast was excellent.The house itself .. lovely,vast ..multiple sitting rooms..
the gardens were lovely and peaceful.. in fact, the entire building was dark internally and deserted when we arrived back after an early dinner..
really hopeless wi fi unless sitting in the living room…our room was smaller than expected and had an obscured view.There was nowhere to place our large suitcases.

Great quiet place to relax with excellent interiors, well maintained territory, garden and swimming pool. Big spacious rooms, presumably much bigger than what you can get in tiny houses if central Óbidos. Short walk to Óbidos and great views over Óbidos castle. Delicious breakfast in a luxurious dining room of the house. Parking. Play house with toys for kids in the garden.
Dining room can’t fit all the guests together because of its size. Guests get assigned a time slot for breakfast (8:30am or 9:30am), which reduces flexibility and may not be convenient. Rooms in the main building feel more exceptional and luxurious than houses next to the main building - and cost less! Guests staying in the houses do not have breakfast included and in the evening they can’t access the main building because it is locked after 8:00pm (but you can ask for a key).

A lovely old Portuguese house. The breakfast was superb. Fantastically clean and comfortable room. Walking distance to Obidos. Swimming pool and tennis court a bonus.

Amazing property and plenty of space inside our room. Parking is easy and the location is nice and close to town. The room is fashioned out of an older outbuilding and is very eclectic, and has some odd stairs and spaces.
Not a lot of places to recharge electronics and we had a bit of a tough time keeping the temperature even since some of the heat is supplied by space heaters. Room is not in the best shape and some tiles were loose in the floor of the shower.

Apartment was a good size comfortably accommodating a family of 4 adults
Creaky floorboards in the bedroom disturbed others when sleeping. The bathrooms are a very good size, however, the showers are unnecessarily cramped

Property facilities good - swimming pool, tennis court. Our apartment had no a/c and the bed was rather small. Very good local restaurants in a few minutes walk across a field. 20 minute walk to walled town (of which we had a great view from the outside terrace).

Quiet room overlooking the gardens. Room was spacious and the bathroom was almost as big as the bedroom. Tastefully furnished with antiques throughout - we loved it. Breakfast was served in half hour slots for covid reasons but was very good. Approx 8 minute walk to some restaurants (we ate in a cheapish cafe where two mains, desert and a litre of wine was just over €20!) but a car is needed to visit the tourist areas of Óbidos. Didn't use the swimming pool unfortunately due to lack of time but it looked very inviting! Would not hesitate to stay again.
The plumbing was a bit noisy occasionally.
