The people

Room was not properly cleaned prior to my checkin

The location is nice, interaction with the staff was easy.

The bar was closed very early (10pm?). With very little to do in Sophia anthipolis I would expect it to be open longer. Also, after my arrival (on the first day) my room was given to another guest as well, and he walked into my room. While it was all resolved quickly (and it was an obvious mistake from the receptionist who assigned us both the same room) I think this shouldn't never happen and didn't make me very comfortable for the rest of my stay.

the hotel is clean and the location is good in the forest in front of SKEMA university.

Breakfast was poor, the two coffee machines were broken for more than half an hour, at 9;30 h they dismantled the breakfast and did not take into account that we were waiting for coffee, the two people helping during breakfast were not very polite. We were thinking of staying one more night and we changed hotel due to this incident which was very unpleasant.

The staff was very rude and unhelpful. Breakfast was a nightmare "very limited" and " Poor Quality". The first floor had a terrible smell

Swimming pool is fantastic

If you ask for anything, the standard reply is...come to the reception and carry it yourself, as small an item like an Iron. Very very poor service.

- slow staff (reception) and not very professional - rooms are all with a big sofa which make the room even smaller - breakfast not worth it - barley any fresh things available + is taken down at the exact ending time even though there are still people at the buffet trying to get some food - gym equipped with a stepper a treadmill and a bike that’s it- no water available - only one water in the room - even there are two people when asking for another water bottle it is denied for 185€ per night I would not recommend the hotel

check out took ages - big queue and only one computer at reception had to wait for 25 minutes which was frustrating

great pool and the interconnecting rooms were great, friendly staff, comfortable and peaceful

the shower holder was broken and the telephone was dirty also the bar and restaurant are very expensive

Good facilities for our needs. Food was well prepared and plentiful. Rooms comfortable and quiet.

The room

The noise from the students was really bad. They were running around until 2am.

I liked the bathroom and the size of the tv in the room.

The smell, the insects in the bedroom, the fact that the reception couldn’t book me a cab (luckily I kept the taxi details of the guy who picked me up at the airport on arrival) - what hôtel doesn’t book its clients a cab???that’s unacceptable to me. The location was very remote (literally in the pine forest). The breakfast was good if you like continental but if you expect a nice fried up don’t bother. The staff doesn’t even ask how and if if you’d like eggs. Not a 4 stars hotel I would rate it 2 stars. Réception wasn’t even a proper reception it was a guy behind a small table (when there was even someone). AVOID.
