Mitten in der Altstadt-Fußgängerzone. Ideal um die Stadt zu erkunden. Tiefgarage im Haus. Mein Zimmer war sauber und groß.

Die zentrale Lage, dass ich nur 5 Minuten zum Karlsruher Schloss zu Fuß hatte und alles in unmittelbarer Nähe war. Die Angestellten am Empfang und beim Frühstück waren Anreise super freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Reception is not open whole day, there is no breakfast during weekend, bed produce too much noise.

We had a late check-in and were unsure about how we were going to be able to get into the hotel. As we passed by the B17 Bar & Restaurant a young man & lady approached us and asked us if we were staying at The Alfa. They explained how to enter the building and said to come back to them if we had any problems. we struggled to use the code to unlock the door, but the young man went out of his way to let us into the building (think we would've been on the street all night had he not helped us out!) The Alfa is situated in an excellent location, surrounded by lively bars and restaurants, catering to all age groups & tastes. The hotel rooms are large, very clean, comfortable, and with good soundproofing windows! We all said we would certainly visit again.

Would be nice to have tea/coffee-making facilities in the room.

if you would like to arrive a bit earlier you can use codes … but it was challenging and not only for us.

It was loud during the night, as the cafes were closing late, and early morning the delivery trucks to the shops and cafes and the city cleaning came in. Our room looked out over the street, and therefore it was quite noisy.

Very well priced hotel with clean no hassle room with a desk.

It's a good place if you came to Karlsruhe to party since it's in the strict city center. But that means loud people deep into the night on the street.
